No complaints. In spite of some awful weather, rain and wind, the workforce adapted smoothly to the conditions and produced a first-class job. They were punctual, polite and tidy. I was kept informed about what they intended to do each day. Their fees, I thought, were fair and estimates were accurate. I would certainly recommend this Company if you are looking for a professional job..

Lounge / Dining room prepared, painted and decorated. Completed within 5 days and to the agreed budget. Leon was contacted because he was a Trusted Trader and promptly came to the premises to discuss requirements and give a quote. During this visit he gave sound advice and recommendations for the job. Work was completed by Carl to a very good/high standard, nothing was too much trouble. Very pleased.

I have just had an extension added to the rear of my property. Leon managed to quote the job from the plans, so very quick and easy. The team has fitted in with dates being changed due to slight delays in materials. The finish of wallpapering in the bedroom is excellent, I have had another decorating firm wallpaper in the house previously, and I could have done a better job, not on this occasion though, it is flawless. The preparation and time taken to ensure that the finish was perfect was exceptional, I can't recommend them enough. The team were extremely professional and left the house as they'd found it every time. I'm now busy saving so I'm able to get the team back to update some more rooms in the house.

We approached Leon on the basis of a recommendation to provide internal insulation on walls in two bedrooms which don’t have cavity walls. He’s much in demand so we had a long wait but once he started, the work was completed very efficiently. We had a plasterer come for one day to do the installation then, when the plaster was dry, the decorators came to paint. They prepared the walls on one day and returned on the next to paint. The rooms now look good and I’m hoping we’ll notice the increased warmth in the Winter.

My windows and other woodwork needed painting and I organised Leon Shaw Painting and Decorating to do the work on a recommendation. They have done a great job, fitted in with my schedule, were courteous and professional. I am very satisfied with the work done and would pass this recommendation on.

I used Leon Shaw Painting & Decorating for some external and internal decorating and have been absolutely delighted with them. The service from beginning to end was excellent, the price represented great value for money and I couldn't be more delighted with the finish. The guys that came out always turned up when they said they would and they went above and beyond to leave the rooms they worked in tidy. The finish is superb, as was the attention to detail. I am difficult to please when it comes to this sort of thing as I have an eye for the detail but I genuinely couldn't fault them and can't recommend the company highly enough!

Leon's men decorated the walls, ceilings and woodwork of our staircase and landings in our three storey detached house. They also decorated our open plan living area. The preparation of surface etc was very thorough and the at least two (and in some cases four) coats of paint were applied. The two men arrived on time each day and left when a stage of work was complete ready for a further stage on the following day. They helped with furniture moving and were thorough in their use of dust sheets to protect. Whenever necessary they confirmed what we wanted doing. They left the house fully habitable at the end of each day and tidied up well at the end of the job. The work was completed slightly ahead of schedule and on budget. The stand out aspect of the job was in the initial phase of identifying what's required and what work would be done to complete it to our requirements. This was very much better than the same experience with other firms. The price (they're not the cheapest) reflected the detail with which the work was promised and delivered. We would certainly use Leon again

Leon Shaw is our go-to exterior decorator over eight years because he and his loyal team are reliable, good communicators and work to a consistently high standard. Any problems are professionally rectified or good recommendations are given for other tradesmen as necessary. This quality comes at a price which is good value for the longevity of the finish.

Leon Shaw did a great job - yet again - in transforming one of our rooms. With his help we now have a very warm sitting room with a beautiful new oak floor. Leon helped us at every stage. He recommended the floor supplier and explained what materials we needed to order, as well as laying the wood expertly, fitting skirting boards and oiling all the surfaces. We needed to replace ceiling molding and he suggested which company to use. The walls are now repainted and we couldn't be happier with the result.

We had our lounge, dining room and kitchen painted and papered November/December 2021 and hall stairs and landing just completed. Leon’s team are very thorough with all the preparation and meticulous with the decorating. They’re efficient and easy to have in the house. Any more decorating, we will have them again, no question.
