Lock Around The Clock

Had problems with front door (composite) jamming on occasion. Tried silicone spray without success. Saw advert in local Living magazine for Lock Around the Clock based in Hemel so rang Chris who came shortly after. He refixed bottom hook to mechanism which had become detatched and tightened screws. Job completed quickly and efficiently, friendly guys who gave me 10% seniors discount thus only £75 without me asking. Would use again and happy to recommend.

I highly recommend Chris and his son, who replaced my street door lock. I called them around lunchtime when my old lock seized up, and they gave me an estimated ETA. Chris then called me when he was 5 minutes away, and when he arrived he quickly assessed the problem. The work was done professionally and with the minimum of fuss, and the cost was very reasonable. I used this trader to resolve a problem with a UPVC door which I was unable to lock. They answered my call promptly and gave a generous estimate of how long it would take them to respond promising to call me with reasonable notice when they were on their way, This happened. They also advised their hourly rate (which they adhered to) giving me opportunity to decline the work if I was unhappy with it On arrival they swiftly diagnosed the problem and clearly explained the fault giving me ample opportunity to ask questions, They also advised the cost of a required replacement part before proceeding with the work The work was undertaken swiftly and efficiently and I was able to test it to ensure that I was satisfied that it had cured the fault. I was also given useful advice on how to prevent the fault from recurring. Throughout the work I was treated respectfully and I was very pleased with the service received. I found Mr Cavanah to be helpful and efficient. He kept in touch when he was delayed and arrive to complete the work in super quick time. He was also very kind by adjusting the price of the repair to compensate me for the delay. Would definitely recommend his company and if necessary we would use them again.

The job was scheduled for the next day and as stated, I received a call letting me know when they will come. The type of work, costs and options were explained before the job was done. The blocked cylinder was removed and a new one fitted. It all took around 15 min. Highly recommended.
