Sunday 9:45am we’re stuck the front door would not unlock. We couldn’t leave and if we did would we get back in? Phoned Chris at ‘Lock around the clock’! Long story short, he gave us an estimated price, arrived within half an hour, job done! I Asked if he’d just look at the back door with a view to returning at a later date Chris took a look and resolved that issue too. Obviously a second visit would be another call out charge. He was efficient, polite and I’ve put him on my list of phone contacts, will definitely recommend him! Great guy!

Phoned yesterday at 9 am with a lock jammed so I could not get out to my back garden. I spoke to chris who is the owner he said he was very busy but he wa going to do his best to fit me in and he phone me in the afternoon 30 min before to let me know he was coming the gear box had gone in the lock but he had a spare in the van which he changed straight away for me. Very skilled craftman, excellent service and a good price

Called Chris 10AM and he was here by 1PM. I thought that was fast considering it wasn’t an emergency job. He was really friendly and knocked the job out in no time. Needing to open the door with a jammed lock and replacing the latch and the cylinder. Work was done to a very high standard and I couldn’t be happier. On top of all of this I thought he was very reasonably priced!

Called Chris at 8.30 was given an estimated time of arrival of 10 - 11 called to confirm exact arrival time and arrived at 10am. Inspected the lock and confirmed that it would need to be replaced provided a cost estimate and completed the job of replacing the lock on a UPVC front door within 25 minutes. Had a problem with the lock on the front. This had been fixed twice before by other locksmiths, which on one occasion cost a small fortune! He needlessly change parts that were not necessary. This was absolutely not the case with Chris , he explained everything that needed to be done and all the costs involved (which was nowhere near what we'd previously paid) before carrying out any work. They were quick, and even cleaned my door when they'd finished, super happy!

I rang Chris on Saturday to explain that my garage door lock was being temperamental and I was worried I could be locked out of my garage. As it wasn't an emergency he said it would be cheaper to wait until Monday to fix it, which I appreciated. We agreed a time and he rang to tell me when he was on his way. He had confirmed the price beforehand and gave me a ten percent discount as I had been a customer previously. He and his assistant were very pleasant and efficient in changing the lock and even oiled the springs which lift the up and over door. Splendid service!

Chris and his partner fixed my dodgy front door lock this afternoon and it's now it is working perfectly again. They were friendly, focused and efficient and the job was done quickly and skilfully. The team at Lock around the Clock were great from the initial call to them and saying goodbye with the work done within a few hours. They were able to replace a broken front door lock with compromising the door and even tidied up after them. The lock wouldn't turn for me but they serviced and adjusted it so now it is far easier and I can leave the property securely locked. both worked efficiently, quickly and carefully. I highly recommend Chris and his son, who replaced my street door lock. I called them around lunchtime when my old lock seized up, and they gave me an estimated ETA. Chris then called me when he was 5 minutes away, and when he arrived he quickly assessed the problem. The work was done professionally and with the minimum of fuss, and the cost was very reasonable. Our UPVc front door lock was failing , with part of a spring emerging behind the handle/lock assembly. We called Lock Around The Clock, and Chris agreed to visit later that day. He arrived shortly afterwards, and assured us that the lock and key mechanisms were in good order. He tried to reassemble the handle components, but it proved necessary to fully replace it. It took rather longer than the hour covered by the callout charge, but Chris did not charge extra other than the cost of the new handle assembly. The lock is now working satisfactorily, and we will certainly use Chris in future should the occasion arise. We have stored his number on our mobiles just in case!

Chris fitted a new lock to my sliding patio door some 12 years ago. Last evening the mechanism malfunctioned and I could not operate the locking mechanism. I arrived home about seven PM on the fifteenth of January. I opened and closed the front door but was unable to open it again. I phoned Lock Around The Clock, who advised he could come out to us to access the damage within half an hour, which we thought was superb given it was a Saturday evening. Chris quickly located the problem having opened the door and advised us of our options and cost. We decided to have new parts and Chris replaced the front door gearbox for what we believe was a fair and very reasonable price. The work was completed within forty five minutes with no mess or damage to the door(you wouldn't even know that he had been). George of "Lock around the Clock" visited our house today to change the mortice lock on our front door and see what could be done about a problem we had with the lock on a double glazed window in our bedroom. He arrived at the agreed time and was very personable. He looked at the mortice lock and found that it was not the lock that was faulty but the key had been slightly damaged. As a result, he did not change the lock but I need to buy a new key! With regards to the bedroom window, he found that the handle was not working properly, so changed that. Fitted a new lock to back door. Works well. Made no mess. My other problem is an intermittent stiffness to the lock on the fairly new composite front door. Unfortunately, it was working perfectly when Chris came round. He oiled it and loosened it, so hopefully that will permanently solve the problem.
