Chris was able to fix my UPVC front door locking mechanism (it would not lock from the inside) simply by oiling it with WD40. He came out same day even though it was not an emergency. I will use him again if we ever need a locksmith.

Came out very quickly in the evening to repair problem with front door lock, which otherwise would have meant that door could not have been locked. Excellent standard of work and service. Would absolutely use again if needed.

I called Lock Around the Clock as my key had broken off in the lock. My call was returned swiftly and I was visited within the hour when the lock was changed. Further work was required to the gear box of the door. Chris took care to explain the fault in the door and was both quick and friendly in dealing with the job. Even though wasn't urgent, turned up in less than 2 hours. Could have charged a lot more but gave a cheaper option as only needed temporarily fixing as door being changed in a few months anyway. So it worked out at great value for money. 2nd time we've used this chap now and would highly recommend.

Lock Around The Clock provided us with a great service when changing over the door locks at our new houses. Due to unusual locks on our back door they had to source a special lock which they did by the next working day when they returned to complete the job. They did excellent work including making an adjustment to the door to ensure everything worked smoothly. I felt their prices were fair. All in all highly recommended.

Chris arrived within the hour following a telephone call, as a key had broken within our front door lock. He recommended that we upgraded our lock as our present lock was not secure and showed and explained why. Whilst he was with us I asked that he checked our back door too. The pricing was explained to us before carrying out any of the work. We felt the cost of the work done was very reasonable considering it was a Saturday evening. Chris and his apprentice arrived at the agreed time to sort out a faulty front door handle which meant the door could not be opened from the outside. They quickly determined the fault and were able to replace the part at the same time. Both Chris and his son were courteous and friendly whilst still being very professional. I will definitely use them again should the need arise and would recommend them to others.

Our five point multi point UPVC external lock failed last night. Chris came mid morning today and sorted the problem in no time.

Needed Chris’ help again after a Yale door latch snapped off in my son‘s hand, just wear and tear but it meant we couldn’t lock our inner front porch door. Chris came within an hour of calling on a Saturday morning and immediately replaced the latch. He also replaced another lock and cut additional keys that we needed doing. Very friendly, competent and can do attitude. Had used previously a couple of years ago for other door locks. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend. Many thanks Chris.

I contacted Chris about a replacement window lock and some general repairs that we needed on a few window lock handles. He was prompt in providing availability for the job. He offered to come on the day but we chose the following working day. He came on time for the job and was assisted by his son. Both were professional and were wearing face-masks to minimise any potential risks regarding Covid-19. The job was completed efficiently and they checked other window locks for damage and provided maintenance on any requiring it. We were also offered advice on various locks, which showed honesty and helpfulness. I would recommend this company and would use them again if required.

Call out on a Sunday evening. Quick response. Efficient locksmith who left everything neat and tidy. Checked and double-checked that lock was working properly and asked me to also check that I could lock and unlock the door. Very helpful and explained exactly what was being done. Excellent service from Chris and his colleague! Called on a Sunday as an emergency as my lock had seized and I couldn’t get in. Managed to get in but booked an appointment for Monday instead. They arrived in the morning, on time, and job was sorted within the hour. All work areas tidied up before they left. Advised on best locks to replace with, but no pressure to up-sell at all. Advised that basic one for my front door would be fine, saving me money too. Very reliable and trustworthy. Price was very reasonable and less than expected. I called Chris at 8.30am and he was here by 11am with his assistant. Masked up and ready to go. Our door was not secure and it was fixed within an hour and a new lock on. Friendly and efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitation in recommending Chris and his assistant to anyone.

I have used lock around the clock 2 or 3 times. Each time, easy to arrange visit, kept me informed when they would arrive on the day, listened to me about problem, tested if it was the real problem, confirmed problem and proposed solution cost. I approved solution & cost - they did it - I paid - everyone happy with result. Will call them next time I need lock smith. Ps even gave me extra key as copy that works was not to the locksmith’s quality.
