About
Lothian Property Revivals Ltd, based in Edinburgh and the Lothians, was started by our director Greg Tait, who has over 15 years of experience in the trade. After years of working in the industry and dealing with the bigger named brands with poor product quality and customer service, he knew he could provide a better service by providing a fully rounded service for the supply and installation of kitchens and bathrooms and much more.
Starting out as a small family-run business installing kitchens and bathrooms sold by big named brands, we often saw the frustrations customers had. Not only by being misled by the salespeople in the showrooms with no experience or in-depth knowledge of the products or installation process but also the lack of forward-thinking during and after installation.
Our experience in the building industry allows us to guide customers through the entire journey, from small kitchen and bathroom makeovers to full kitchen, bathroom and house renovations.

From first consultation to final fix, Greg and his team delivered top quality care and service. There was no problem too small for careful consideration and innovative solutions – even as we changed our mind on things as the project progressed. Their attention to detail and the overall look and useability of the conversion was unfaltering. They started bright and early on the promised date and finished within the schedule proposed, leaving the property clean and tidy with a fully functional new look. The team were respectful of those going about their daily lives in the home, always cheerful and friendly in keeping us informed of progress and ensuring that we were happy with choices made. In all, I would recommend Lothian Property Renewals without a second’s hesitation – in fact have already done so to friends and family members.

We have had lots of work done for us as this is the trader we trust and always turn to. During lockdown Greg expanded and replaced our outside decking and also resolved outside issues with the wooden cladding on our house. Over a few years, Greg has replaced our bathroom, ensuite and downstairs cloakroom, coming up with innovative solutions where needed when ceilings slope and off the shelf doesn't fit! Also fitted all the laminate in our house and replaced a number of external doors and windows. Highly recommended - professional, hard working, tidy and competitive priced - wouldn't go anywhere else when work is required in our house!

We had Lothian Property Revivals in to renovate our kitchen after we moved house. They listened to what we wanted as well as helping with ideas when we were unsure of what would work best. Once we had agreed on the work we were kept informed of what the plan was and when the work was to take place. When the work started they always left the house clean and tidy so we weren?t impacted outside of the kitchen. The team was always there on time and let us know of any changes to the schedule. We were always kept in the loop and no question was left unanswered. They were very polite and treated our home with respect. Our kitchen now looks amazing and is regularly complimented with how much more spacious it looks just from the upgrade! Would highly recommend the company to anyone looking to change their kitchen.

We have used Lothian Property Revivals twice for fairly substantial renovation work. The first time involved the complete removal and reinstatement of a family bathroom, including the removal of an old lead-lined water-tank, replastering walls, new lighting, re-hanging of doors, new flooring, plumbing, installation of bath with shower above, sink, toilet, radiator, and shower screen, and tiling work. The second time Lothian Property Revivals carried out substantial work as part of a kitchen renovation which included demolition work (incl. structural work to remove a larder cupboard), opening up of a new exterior door opening, moving of the heating system, re-wire, new windows, boarding and replastering of ceiling and walls, flooring works, and installation of a new kitchen. Due to the nature of the property, minor ongoing adjustments had to be incorporated during the works by Lothian Property Revivals. All work was complete on time and to our satisfaction.

Greg fitted a new kitchen for us earlier this year and we absolutely love how it turned out. After a really poor experience with Wren (which ended with us having to cancel our project), Greg was able to do the work for us at a more reasonable cost and we are very happy with the quality of his workmanship and with the products supplied. He made sure he cleaned up after himself each day and was always happy to answer any questions we had.
