I’m always so happy with the consistency of high quality work that Lucas plumbing provide. I had problems with my underfloor heating and also needed to convert back a kitchen sink waste disposal system. The sink was done in the call out charge and also the solution and further prevention advice for the underfloor heating problem was sorted out. Jake’s advice will save me multiple call out charges later on so I’m grateful for that.

Brackets to strap flue in attic

2 engineers fitted 3 brackets and batons to support them. They were friendly, polite and cleared up afterwards. British Gas required the flue brackets in line with current regulations, but do not do this work under our maintenance contract. Lucas did, then inspected the gas fire afterwards to certify it meets the standard, so we can use it again.

Had our boilers serviced by Lucas Plumbing and Heating. They have done the job now for a number of years and are always thorough in their work and helpful with advice. A reminder email is sent so that the service is not forgotten and the documentation is sent out immediately after payment. Everything is very efficiently organised. Costs are known in advance and, if any additional work is needed it will be quoted for.

Very good service. Prompt reply on the phone with a date being booked in for the work. My engineer Finn was very pleasant, polite and explained everything to me. Although the problem wasn’t solved, because the parts need to be ordered and fitted, the service was excellent. I would recommend this company . Please could you send Finn to complete the work. We used to use Lucas Plumbing for our oil boiler until it was replaced by a heat pump. When we had a small plumbing job, we naturally called them again since they had always been very dependable. The engineer came on time and was very pleasant and helpful. He was careful and set about replacing a pair of faulty tap cartridges. This was done efficiently and all was proved to be working perfectly. All in all a very positive experience from a throughly excellent engineer working for a friendly and experienced local company.
