We had our new boiler fitted last year by Lucas and we were very pleased from start to finish. They have just completed the annual service and again a good service throughout. Easy to book. The engineer was polite, tidy and friendly. Recommended

We had our boiler service carried out recently by Lucas Plumbing and Heating and they discovered that the heat shield needed to be replaced. The service was very thorough and carefully done. The heat shield was ordered promptly and its replacement was scheduled as soon as possible. The workmen turned up exactly when promised and carried out the work quickly and carefully. Everything is now working as it should. We have used Lucas Plumbing and Heating to install boilers and plumbing and to service and carry out repairs for more than five years and have always been fully satisfied with the work and the service. We are happy to recommend them to anybody - and have done to friends.

We produce whirlpools and I searched for a company who would evaluate the removal of one of our whirlpools in quite a delicate situation. After trying many companies Lucas Plumbing answered very positively. The professionality was clear from the very start. I work regularly with many plumbing companies within the UK, and where the most are very good and I have no complaints, none have quite matched this service. The customer contact was exceptionally well done, under difficult circumstances, I was included in all customer contact and regularly updated. I received a full job report when the work was completed including photographs of every step. The invoice was very clear with very reasonable price. I cannot praise this company enough, my only regret is that I cannot use Lucas plumbing for every job I have in in the UK.

We were delighted with the work carried out which was to service the boiler and fix a problem with the toilet cistern. We previously had a contract with SSE and although they charged a large monthly fee they did not look after the boiler as they were contracted to do. Brian was very experienced and friendly, he quickly noted a problem with cracked insulation to the boiler and that it was full of soot and it had clearly not been serviced properly previously. Well done Lucas Plumbing and we look forward to continuing to use your services in the future.

Lucas Plumbing is a great company to work with. They installed a new oil boiler a couple of years ago as we embarked on our house refurb project, connected it to the temporary accommodation/outbuilding we were moving into on site to live in during the refurb, nothing is ever a problem or too complicated for them. Their admin team is five stars also, reminding you of annual services etc. Perfect.

Came over to diagnose a ceiling leak and a faulty shower. Worked quickly on the shower and made a quick solve, ceiling leak was diagnosed within the hour, coming back for part two tomorrow. Overall, prompt, polite and professional service. Would highly recommend.

The team at Lucas Plumbing installed a boiler for us a couple of years ago, as well as a bathroom. Since then we have relied on them to carry out the annual maintenance on our boiler and they have always done a great job, as speedy as they possibly can, even when a spare part needs ordering etc.; their reliability is fantastic to be honest, they are a brilliant company to work with!

Very swift response to our early morning telephone call. We had no heating or hot water. Within no time the Lucas van arrived with an engineer, who quickly found the problem. Unfortunately a part was needed, and this was duly ordered. However should the part not arrive in time it was arranged that heaters would be supplied for our use whilst we awaited the arrival of the part. During the afternoon, just before four pm, we were telephoned and told the part had arrived and the engineer would be making his way to us to fit it. This was not a straightforward job, but the engineer Jake was calmly efficient and determined to get us heating and hot water. He achieved this. Our boiler is external, the evening was cold and dark. The next day, Saturday, Jake telephoned to make sure all was well and we were ok. This service was exceptional.

Leaking toilet overflow, contacted Lucas plumbing. Arranged a suitable date which was later than they offered due to my work schedule. Came promptly on day requested, Luke, very pleasant, experienced and smart young man. Found fault but didn’t have specific part, went to purchase one and returned promptly Fixed fault, checked all was fine and no further leak. Brilliant service and such a nice team, Luke and lady on the phone who organised everything. Recommend to all.

This company is helpful friendly, thorough and professional. My shower went wrong before coming out they investigated possible causes and advised us what to do, they then called the manufacturer, called me back with advice, I then purchased the required part which they fitted within days. I trust this company completely, they could have ripped me off, instead they advised me how to save money and then fitted the part and made sure that everything worked properly quickly and efficiently . I would recommend this company for their honesty and expertise.

We recently had our boiler serviced by Lucas Plumbing and heating who did their usual thorough job. Everything was done efficiently and care was taken to avoid any danger due to the COVID 19 threat. Everything was left clean and tidy.

The company gave a competitive quote for a fairly complex system. They arranged the work quickly to ensure we had heating and hot water before winter. Arrived on time, wore PPE and arranged the work to reduce the impact on us. Very efficient, very polite and arranged on our behalf to involve the gas board to ensure a safe installation. The system is working well at present and I am very impressed with level of knowledge of all the people we dealt with. They are very approachable and I am very confident of their capability to assist with any unexpected issues should they arise.

We needed a replacement boiler as it was getting passed its 'sell by' date and requiring frequent attention. Four quotations were obtained, including one from Lucas Plumbing as they are on Which Trusted Traders. The visit to assess our need for a new boiler was very professional, fitting advice we had already been made aware of. The swiftly supplied quotation was comprehensive and very competitive. On acceptance of the quotation, an installation date was booked. The two installers arrived at the anticipated time on the day. Throughout the day they carefully ensured that social distancing was maintained. As expected, the boiler installation was completed by the end of the day. All areas were left very clean, and all waste including the old boiler was removed from site. The system had been power cleaned as a matter of course, and all radiators were checked for correct working. Overall we found Lucas Plumbing to be very approachable, reasonably priced and very professional. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.

First class job, engineer arrived on time, wearing COVID mask, Did the job as agreed, plus sorted out a leek under the kitchen sink, couldn’t have been more helpful.

Very pleased with the boiler service. The engineer was polite and courteous and very professional. He took all the Covid safety measures during his work. They always come as per the scheduled time and gave us feedback at the end. The new boiler was fitted and some alterations done last year by the same company’s skilled engineers. The work was excellent and I cannot recommend them highly enough for the the very professional way they approach their work. They take a pride in their work and great care to make sure that everything is done to high standards and also neatly. Very quick to follow up and issues. Everything was priced before hand and they kept to that. Their price was very competitive.

After our boiler was installed in 2007 the installer carried out the first annual service. After that the company was no longer interested in providing the annual boiler service. We struggled to find companies who were qualified and willing to do this work. After using one or two companies we found Lucas Plumbing and Heating who have been servicing the boiler now for the last 7 to 10 years. Lucas are easy to contact and to arrange a date for the service, and reliable in turning up to carry it out. After service a report is issued on the work carried out and the results of tests and investigation.

I have been using Lucas plumbing for a number of years now and highly recommend. They recently replaced a tap cartridge and as always - came on time, did a professional job, were very pleasant to deal with and reasonable price. I referred them to a few friends of mine and all were happy too. I would definitely recommend on them

If only all companies operated in the same way as Lucas Plumbing. All the engineers are polite and well turned out, and clearly know exactly what they are doing. Emily at the office is great too! Jake the proprietor always comes out to give a quote. An e-mail is sent out a couple of days prior to your appointment, just as a reminder. We've recently had a new boiler fitted by Lucas Plumbing, so superior to our old boiler. Plus they have LPG qualifications, which meant we could have our gas bottles moved to a more convenient location. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
