Had new gas boiler, hot water tank and replacement radiators fitted. All the work carried out by George and Luke was done to an excellent standard. Very friendly and hard working team. Pipe work is a work of art. Would highly recommend Lucas Plumbing.

Came over to diagnose a ceiling leak and a faulty shower. Worked quickly on the shower and made a quick solve, ceiling leak was diagnosed within the hour, coming back for part two tomorrow. Overall, prompt, polite and professional service. Would highly recommend.

The team at Lucas Plumbing installed a boiler for us a couple of years ago, as well as a bathroom. Since then we have relied on them to carry out the annual maintenance on our boiler and they have always done a great job, as speedy as they possibly can, even when a spare part needs ordering etc.; their reliability is fantastic to be honest, they are a brilliant company to work with!

Very efficient company came out and assessed and identified my boiler problem after contacting them in the morning. By he afternoon the same day the boiler was repaired and working again many thanks to Brian for his professional and courteous manner.

Very swift response to our early morning telephone call. We had no heating or hot water. Within no time the Lucas van arrived with an engineer, who quickly found the problem. Unfortunately a part was needed, and this was duly ordered. However should the part not arrive in time it was arranged that heaters would be supplied for our use whilst we awaited the arrival of the part. During the afternoon, just before four pm, we were telephoned and told the part had arrived and the engineer would be making his way to us to fit it. This was not a straightforward job, but the engineer Jake was calmly efficient and determined to get us heating and hot water. He achieved this. Our boiler is external, the evening was cold and dark. The next day, Saturday, Jake telephoned to make sure all was well and we were ok. This service was exceptional.

Leaking toilet overflow, contacted Lucas plumbing. Arranged a suitable date which was later than they offered due to my work schedule. Came promptly on day requested, Luke, very pleasant, experienced and smart young man. Found fault but didn’t have specific part, went to purchase one and returned promptly Fixed fault, checked all was fine and no further leak. Brilliant service and such a nice team, Luke and lady on the phone who organised everything. Recommend to all.

This company is helpful friendly, thorough and professional. My shower went wrong before coming out they investigated possible causes and advised us what to do, they then called the manufacturer, called me back with advice, I then purchased the required part which they fitted within days. I trust this company completely, they could have ripped me off, instead they advised me how to save money and then fitted the part and made sure that everything worked properly quickly and efficiently . I would recommend this company for their honesty and expertise.

We recently had our boiler serviced by Lucas Plumbing and heating who did their usual thorough job. Everything was done efficiently and care was taken to avoid any danger due to the COVID 19 threat. Everything was left clean and tidy.

We have used Lucas Plumbing for many years and would not hesitate to recommend them. We have had boiler servicing, repairs and even a new bathroom installed by them. We used this company to do an annual service on our boiler. As usual, they were very efficient, polite and arrived when they said they would.

The company gave a competitive quote for a fairly complex system. They arranged the work quickly to ensure we had heating and hot water before winter. Arrived on time, wore PPE and arranged the work to reduce the impact on us. Very efficient, very polite and arranged on our behalf to involve the gas board to ensure a safe installation. The system is working well at present and I am very impressed with level of knowledge of all the people we dealt with. They are very approachable and I am very confident of their capability to assist with any unexpected issues should they arise.

After our boiler was installed in 2007 the installer carried out the first annual service. After that the company was no longer interested in providing the annual boiler service. We struggled to find companies who were qualified and willing to do this work. After using one or two companies we found Lucas Plumbing and Heating who have been servicing the boiler now for the last 7 to 10 years. Lucas are easy to contact and to arrange a date for the service, and reliable in turning up to carry it out. After service a report is issued on the work carried out and the results of tests and investigation.

I have been using Lucas plumbing for a number of years now and highly recommend. They recently replaced a tap cartridge and as always - came on time, did a professional job, were very pleasant to deal with and reasonable price. Turned up within appointed period. Very friendly. Drained heating system (boiler, hot water storage, radiators, under floor system) and refilled with fresh incoming water replacing softened water fill. Added inhibitors and vented all radiators. Very methodical and efficient. Removed outdoor shoes every time on house entry. All work completed satisfactorily and on budget.

I have been using Lucas Plumbing for over 10 years. Jake who is the owner has helped me several times when I have had water leaking out of ceilings, toilets and radiators! Sometimes at just a few minutes' notice. I can't recommend him and his team enough - they are polite, work hard, clean up afterwards and do not rip you off!

Excellent customer service from Jake in the office through to his colleague who attended and did what 2 other plumbers had failed to achieve without having to remove so much as a tile from my concealed cistern. Thoroughly recommend, great communication skills to excellent, prompt attendance and plumbing skills.

All their Engineers are very good and polite. We have been using them for a few years and we would thoroughly recommend them.

I have used this company many times now for installation and service/repair I can’t fault them the engineers are very competent and really know what they are doing. Thawed outside pipe burst and the Lucas Plumbing team came at short notice and repaired it within 20 minutes of arriving. Reasonable cost as at such short notice.

6 old radiators were replaced including the removal of a heated towel rail to be replaced with a radiator. Plus a new thermostat. The work was done to the agreed budget, the estimator arrived when he said he would and also returned to check out the late addition of the removal of an existing heated towel rail to be replaced with a regular radiator. The revised quote was given very quickly at a very acceptable price, The estimator also listened to what I wanted. All three engineers, one senior, along with a 4th year day release and 1st year apprentice (who had already done 2 years at college), turned up on time. They worked very efficiently and tidily, cleaning up as they went. Shoes taken off as a matter of course whilst in the house. They were extremely polite but friendly. The senior engineer's attitude towards the newest apprentice was exemplary. Explaining why and how in a calm and professional manner. The system was double checked and the workings of the TRV's explained. Both the younger members of the team commented on how pleased they were to be working at Lucas Plumbing. I would not hesitate to recommend the company and this team. I was very pleased that I used Lucas and will certainly book them in to service my boiler in the summer.
