Turned up within appointed period. Very friendly. Drained heating system (boiler, hot water storage, radiators, under floor system) and refilled with fresh incoming water replacing softened water fill. Added inhibitors and vented all radiators. Very methodical and efficient. Removed outdoor shoes every time on house entry. All work completed satisfactorily and on budget.

I have been using Lucas Plumbing for over 10 years. Jake who is the owner has helped me several times when I have had water leaking out of ceilings, toilets and radiators! Sometimes at just a few minutes' notice. I can't recommend him and his team enough - they are polite, work hard, clean up afterwards and do not rip you off!

Excellent customer service from Jake in the office through to his colleague who attended and did what 2 other plumbers had failed to achieve without having to remove so much as a tile from my concealed cistern. I had an outside tap fitted in my back garden to avoid carrying watering cans through the house. Also installed a new kitchen tap. George and Kya were sensitive to my lack of mobility and insisted on helping move anything necessary. The special service aspects which stood out included the fitting of new valves under the kitchen sink when a leak was detected - at no extra cost - and the repositioning of an outdoor thermometer which was in the way of new piping. The overall job took four and a half hours and their cheerful and professional approach ensured a stress-free experience.

The work was for two elements of plumbing repairs and one was carried out on the first visit and the second, which was found to require an external repair from the water board, couldn't be carried out until approx. 3 weeks later. Both elements of work were carried out in a thoughtful, caring and professional manner and I am very happy with what was installed and carried out. Despite the need for an additional callout, Lucas Plumbing & Heating stuck to the original quotation price, which I thought was both fair and reasonable and I will readily use this company again and would strongly recommend them to anyone. In my view, they merit and deserve top marks!

Thawed outside pipe burst and the Lucas Plumbing team came at short notice and repaired it within 20 minutes of arriving. Reasonable cost as at such short notice.

As a business it is hard to find a reliable company to fix ad-hoc plumbing issues, but Lucas Plumbing & Heating have this sorted. They were called to change over 3 TMV valves on the washroom showers which was done in a timely manor. A quotation was sent, which was agreed before the work was completed. Upon attendance, the engineer arrived within the timescales, the work was carried out and completed, left neat and tidy and everything working. An invoice was sent for the works as agreed which was paid promptly. Great communication throughout. A great service and would recommend their services. I will use them again.

Even checked the pressures in the radiators this time too. 6 old radiators were replaced including the removal of a heated towel rail to be replaced with a radiator. Plus a new thermostat. The work was done to the agreed budget, the estimator arrived when he said he would and also returned to check out the late addition of the removal of an existing heated towel rail to be replaced with a regular radiator. The revised quote was given very quickly at a very acceptable price, The estimator also listened to what I wanted. All three engineers, one senior, along with a 4th year day release and 1st year apprentice (who had already done 2 years at college), turned up on time. They worked very efficiently and tidily, cleaning up as they went. Shoes taken off as a matter of course whilst in the house. They were extremely polite but friendly. The senior engineer's attitude towards the newest apprentice was exemplary. Explaining why and how in a calm and professional manner. The system was double checked and the workings of the TRV's explained. Both the younger members of the team commented on how pleased they were to be working at Lucas Plumbing. I would not hesitate to recommend the company and this team. I was very pleased that I used Lucas and will certainly book them in to service my boiler in the summer.

Arranging visit for visit of plumber efficient and courteous. Plumber seemed very competent and had pleasurable manner.

I rang Lucas Plumbing as used them in the past and needed them to visit my parents to do a service on an Unvented Water Cylinder because the pressure kept dropping. I got an appointment quite quickly and on the day they arrived as timed and carried out the job professionally and fixed the problem. Will use them for our boiler service when due.
