I have been using Lucas Plumbing on a regular basis recently and due to their work ethics, quality, workmanship and time keeping I wouldn't use anyone else in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone as they do exactly what it says on the tin with an all-round professional feel to match. Finally I have found a plumber who does what they say they are going to without the excuses..

Easy to arrange for the work to be done. Gave a date and a 4 hour window for coming to do the work which avoided whole day waiting for them to come. Routine job done without fuss.

This company cares. I've used them before and both times they have focused on doing a proper job. This job was a response to a leak (not associated with their previous work), they arrived in a couple of hours and sorted it quickly. Costs were reasonable too, no over the top emergency fees. Would recommend.

Came out the following day to our call. We had established the fault after calling the manufacturer and the part was sent overnight so the engineer could not have come sooner. Engineer very friendly and helpful and repair carried out efficiently.

I had a very poor experience today, returning to this firm after using them last year with no bother. Booking made 2 weeks previously, 12-4 call out. Promised first call of the afternoon (reiterated over the phone). Called at 1330 asking where plumber was. Told he was delayed on morning job, called me back at 1420. Received call at 1500 to say he would be another half hour. I questioned why, lady (who turned out to be the owner) started raising voice, told me I was calling her a liar, and would cancel the appointment. I was taken aback to be honest, I had merely questioned how a job could have overrun by 3 hours plus. She got even more irritated and then put the phone down on me. I didn't raise my voice once. If she has a recording of the call she's welcome to submit it. Very, very poor. Can only assume there's a lot of mugs out there willing to put up with this. I would lose my customers fast with an attitude like that. Anyone know a good, reliable, plumber?

I had a problem with the ballcock in the cold water tank and asked for a quote to replace it and the 60 year old tank. They said they would send someone to survey it in 2 days, which was fine. Later that afternoon I found water dripping though the kitchen ceiling so I contacted them again to see if they could send someone that day. Later that afternoon a plumber arrived and replaced the ballcock. He was a courteous man, very helpful and fixed the problem in an hour and a quarter which included going out to obtain a missing component. The system is now operating correctly and I still have an intact ceiling. I am now awaiting the quote for the tank replacement. I would definitely recommend this company.

Boiler service and control panel were replaced quickly and efficiently. The company's administration is very reliable and rapid. There is always an email reminder of the date and time prior to the call and a check afterwards before payment is required. The engineers are polite, helpful and unobtrusive. There was a problem caused after the last service but it was rectified speedily without question.

We're always impressed by the customer service. So nice on the phone, a pleasure to talk to. The men who come to us always do a good job. They do a clean tidy job and are very friendly.

As usual Jake turned up on time and serviced our oil boiler without fuss for a reasonable price. Very happy with the service provided.

In the midst of corona crisis our power shower stopped working. I contacted Lucas by email and within 48 hours I received and accepted a quote. The work was completed quickly, efficiently and wthin the time scales set. The plumber was very aware of the need to social distance. I employed the company to identify and repair a leak on the hidden services between two back to back bathrooms. The pipe work is boxed in and partially tiled with no access into the void. The engineer had the necessary equipment to investigate the location of the leak with the minimum disruption and damage to the property. He was efficient and courteous. From the first office contact to completion of work the company was most professional. Especially as the work was expedited during the lockdown. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. I am a retired Chartered Engineer so recognise a good building services company.

Four and a half years ago, the day before I was going on holiday, I came home to find my boiler leaking water. I was recommended to phone Lucas Plumbing & Heating and they came within a short space of time and dealt with the immediate problem. A quote was prepared and emailed and a new boiler was fitted upon my return from holiday. The quote included 3 years free servicing. Recently I needed a new valve; I phoned on the Friday and was allocated the first call on the following Monday. Lucas Plumbing & Heating are the nicest people to deal with and all the engineers I have encountered are very professional and respectful of my home. When I called to make a appointment for a plumber to come to my house, the girl that answered the phone was very helpful and arranged the time around my shift so I didn’t have to miss work.
