Lucas Plumbing & Heating Ltd

I have been using Lucas Plumbing for a while now for both my home work and for a rented flat we own. They do all our gas safety tests and any ad hoc fixes and problems. They have serviced and fixed boilers, fitted new radiators, fixed cold water feeds and are currently installing a new boiler. All good so far. very easy to work with.

This is the first time I've used Lucas Plumbing and I found them very pleasant people to deal with, from Daniela on the switchboard through to the engineers who called round. Jake arrived at the time specified, found the problem and a quote followed soon after by email. A part had to be ordered and a second visit was necessary a couple of days later. Unfortunately the part the manufacturer of the fire sent did not fit and parts of the old component had to be used together with some of the new bits. This slowed the job through no fault of Lucas Plumbing and I was pleasantly surprised with an invoice significantly less than the original quote. I would recommend this firm

These guys are very helpful and knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Turn up when they says they will do and never overcharge, explain any problems in simple terms. Pleasure to use I would strongly recommend them.

Jake, Daniella and the Lucas Team were prompt, courteous and efficient throughout. They were 100% confiortable with me seeking other quotes and once we decided to progress with them (due to their superior fault finding and diagnosis of the problem), the admin and communication was fast, Clare and accurate. Jake arrived on time and did what was described in the quote perfectly. Job done, heating system fixed (an oil based system). Highly recommended !!

Jake has done work for us in our own home and when we had rented houses for students. He is always diligent and we trust his work. He's also positive and friendly.

We have used Lucas Plumbing and Heating Ltd. to maintain our boilers (we have two), fit a new boiler and other general plumbing work for more than three years and the firm fitted the main boiler for the previous owners. We have always found them to be reliable and efficient and they seem to have a very good understanding of the systems we have and are able to maintain them to a high standard. They always turn up when they say they will and have never let us down. They operate very efficiently as well. We get email reminders when services are due and all work is backed up by a written quotation before the job is agreed. On the day or sometimes the day before we get an email reminder that the job is due which gives us confidence and a timely reminder. After work has been completed, invoicing is prompt and efficient and certificates for work such as boiler servicing are sent. We have been very pleased with the quality of the work and the service and have never needed to call them back. It is always done properly first time. It can be hard to find good plumbing and heating companies but we can certainly recommend this one. We are glad that the previous owner of this house recommended them to us.

Very pleased with Lucas Plumbing and Heating - we had a leak under our hall floor and they were excellent all the way, from diagnosing the leak to fixing it and doing a couple of other small jobs along the way. Always punctual and pleasant to deal with, did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

We had a new boiler fitted along with three replacement radiators. The guys (Scott & Liam) were brilliant, knowledgeable, helpful and just really good at the job. They left everything neat, tidy and clean. Very highly recommended.

We used Lucas Plumbing and Heating to replace a shower pump. We have been very impressed by their professionalism from enquiry to estimate to carrying out the work. The initial visit, to gauge the extent of the work, was very thorough. The estimate was well laid out, itemised and clear. Lewis turned up on the appointed day and worked diligently. There was no mess. The shower pump is working well. We will definitely use Lucas Plumbing and Heating for future plumbing problems.

The trader fully explained the work that was going to be done : to replace my boiler, and resite it to an outside wall. A clear quotation arrived days later. Scott, theyou young mana who came to carry out the work was excellent: competent, courteous & friendly manner, explained clearly when I asked him questions, knew what he had to do & he cleared up & vacuumed each evening. When he finished the work he explained clearly how to operate the boiler. As some brick work needed replacing where pipes had been removed, two days later a builder arrived to replace the new bricks. He explained what he had to do and I could hardly tell where the new bricks were. They matched the existing ones. I am extremely pleased with the work done & and would certainly recommend this company!

The service engineer who did the work (repair) on our heating system was great, arrived on time and was very professional and competent in his work. The work was carried out and completed in the time allocated and was very tidy in his approach. We had a leaking pump valve so both valves were replaced. So great service including email reminders of our work slot, and easy communication with the office. All in all very good and would definitely recommend Lucas heating and plumbing.
