This is a well managed and efficient plumbing/heating company. We have used them for many years now and have only had positive experiences.

Excellent professional service from Lucas Plumbing & Heating Engineers nothing was too much trouble and an excellent completed job. I would recommend this company to anyone. I have an oil boiler and it is hard to find an heating engineer and plumber that you can say are excellent.

Lucas plumbing were chosen from a shortlist of three - they were knowledgeable, they were always first to respond - site survey, questions, further questions, quotation modifications etc. Customer team great too - we knew who was arriving and what time. Pete and Luke did a great job. We are very happy with the finished result and would recommend them to others - as we have done with neighbours already. Nice people and great result.

I contacted Lucas plumbing on Friday 14th Feb and explained my underfloor heating wasn't working. I described what was wrong and sent a photo. I was contacted the same day and told I would get a quote for repairing the system. I received a quote on Monday 17th Feb and the repair was completed Wednesday 19th Feb. Great communication from Lucas office from start to finish. For the repair, the plumber arrived in a marked vehicle, he explained what he was going to do and completed the works competently to a high standard. Everything was run and tested and explained and cleaned up and tided before he left. We are both retired OAP's and felt so pleased we had used Lucas Plumbing, really good service start to finish.

Lucas Heating and Plumbing's engineer was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and efficient. We were made aware of what was wrong and how it should be put right. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Replaced two valves on unvented hot water cylinder. Went out of their way to meet my request for the work to be done earlier than had been planned because a problem had arisen. Work done to new schedule, very professionally. Paperwork excellent for quotation, invoice and receipt. It was a pleasure to deal with all Lucas personnel.

Very happy with the service. A few problems were found with my boiler and was fixed within the week. Good price. Knowledgeable friendly plumber that came with 2 very pleasant young apprentices. Efficient and helpful lady on the phone. Would highly recommend.

The service was highly professional from start to finish. Response was quick; everyone turned up on time; the best products were used; I was kept informed of progress and next steps and quotes and invoices arrived promptly. Our bathroom toilet wouldn't flush, and I had visitors. I telephoned Lucas Plumbing & Heating on Monday morning and one of their plumbers, Luke, a pleasant young man, came in the afternoon. He found that the cistern was not filling properly and had to change the float valve. The new one he had brought with him was faulty, but he managed to clean up the old float valve and replace parts that had perished. Now the system is working perfectly, and at a reasonable cost.

Engineer arrived on time and the job was carried out as expected. The engineer was very helpful and kind with explaining things to me.

Service provided was easy and quick to arrange. It was helpful to be told whether it would be a morning or afternoon repair. The service was good value for money.

As always Lucas were tops. The previous sink and bathroom work was undertaken very efficiently and the found leaks were rectified on this occasion. The parts required were no longer available so a work around was undertaken and very successfully. Would recommend Lucas as a helpful and efficient company.

Yearly boiler service carried out punctually, efficiently and comprehensively. Also, sound advice on draining and refilling the system provided free of charge. The combi boiler (Greenstar CDi 30) was installed by the same company 3 years ago and has been faultless throughout. Recommended.

We've been using Lucas Plumping for several years, both for annual gas servicing and a couple of ad-hoc issues which they've always responded to in a timely fashion. The personnel are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

Our 23 year old boiler finally died on us and so we needed to go boiler hunting, after getting numerous boiler from the ridiculous £5800 from British Gas to the ultra cheap, we called Lucas Plumbing after being recommend to us, and boy weren't we glad we did. A very through quote with numerous options which included moving the boiler from our airing cupboard to the loft, which gave us more room in the house. We decided to use Lucas Plumbing to install our boiler, we were recommended the ATAG which came with a 14 year warranty. The work was carried out in the three days we were quoted and from start to finish they were great, they kept us updated on the work that was being done and after everyday the areas they used were left clean and tidy, on the final day we were given a thorough run through of how the boiler worked as well as the new thermostat ( which can be controlled by an app). The boiler is just as good as we were told and our house is warm and toasty when we need it to be, as well as being cheaper for us to run. I cannot recommend the company enough and if you are still looking get them to give you a quote, they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive but they are the most professional.

I have always gone to a very well known branded company and paid a hefty price. I always thought I was getting a service to match the price. Not at all. When I tried Lucas, not only did they thoroughly look into my boiler they cleaned it and showed me how dirty it was as the previous services weren't carried out to the high standard I had thought I had paid for. Anyway they were polite, competent and I will be using Lucas from now on and can recommend them highly.

Engineer arrived during the time slot and I was contacted by their office team with an update on his arrival time. He was friendly, very tidy and very methodical in carrying out the service on our gas fire. Would recommend Lucas Plumbing & Heating to anyone. Invoice value was the same as the upfront quote.

My shower thermostatic bar stopped working. Apparently it was the 'cartridge'. Lucas Plumbing came and replaced it within 10 days of my initial call. A quick job and no mess left behind. The only downside... they don't take Credit Cards!

Lucas Plumbing was recommended by a neighbour and when our central heating system failed, I originally called British Gas with whom we have a contract. They were unable to attend the repair for over ONE MONTH! I turned to Lucas Plumbing who sent their engineer round in a couple of hours; diagnosed the problem, got the system working and the next day, returned to fit a new valve. We have now placed an order with Lucas to supply a new boiler and do some other radiator work. We will not be continuing to use our previous supplier of home care services.

We always use Lucas Plumbing as they do an excellent job for a reasonable price. This time it was a quick and simple task to fix a radiator leak. Job done no more leaks!

We used Lucas Plumbing and Heating to fix some problems we were having with the underfloor heating and hot water in our new-build house with a smart heating system. From the initial phone call, through to the quotation visit and the work itself, everyone we dealt with was punctual, professional, and highly knowledgeable. The work was completed to a high quality and we were given good instructions on how to use the new equipment they installed. They also stricly followed Covid safety guidelines when working in our house, with masks at all times, ventilation, and social distancing observed, which was much appreciated. It was a pleasure doing business with Jake and his team - almost as much as having our heating working again!

My appointment was made within a day. Well mannered courteous engineer. Quickly and efficiently worked out the problem and did what he could until the parts needed arrive. Will definitely use Lucas again and recommend them.

Another company let us down badly. Lucas were the nearest Which Trusted Trader. Called on Wednesday pm. George came at 8 am Thursday, fixed the central heating breakdown, cleaned up the condensate overflow, and carefully explained everything he was doing. He also gave good advice on less urgent gas-related issues. Much improved our understanding and left us happier, warmer and delighted with the Lucas service.

However complicated is the breakdown the fault-finding is efficient and the issue remedied with a minimum of fuss.
