This company are in my experience professional and tidy in their work. If you have a problem they never fail to sort it out. I have used them for boiler installation and also for replacement of a hot water cylinder, general plumbing work and annual services. They have never failed to complete the work to a high standard.

My husband and I have always used Lucas Plumbing since becoming home owners. Lots of our friends have used them following our recommendation. My parents are very vulnerable and I contacted Lucas to complete some work at their address on my behalf. As always regardless if the job is big or small they were awesome, professional and trustworthy. Best company we have used.

Easy to use booking website. Plumber arrived within the allotted time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our radiators were constantly heating up despite the thermostat being turned off. He identified that replacement valves were required and came back a few days later to undertake the work. Communication through email confirming the appointment and also sending invoices was very efficient and easy to use. I have recommended them to my parents who love locally and would you’re them again if any other issues should arise.

Had hot water pouring out of overflow and through the ceiling in two rooms from the loft. Panic! Lucas Plumbing explained the problem in detail so I could understand it and carried out the work quickly and efficiently whilst totally keeping to Covid guidelines. Felt totally comfortable I was given a good price and Daniela in the office provided timely call back, quotes and follow up. Very happy with whole service and would highly recommend.

Throughout the visit the engineer and his assistant (apprentice?) were polite, helpful and professional. When issues were found with an easy fix there was no attempt to get unnecessary work completed and constructive advice was given. It was found that heating system flue was in a dangerous condition and remedial work would have to be done. Engineer offered to take further advice on our options and get back to us. Very impressed overall.

Another company let us down badly. Lucas were the nearest Which Trusted Trader. Called on Wednesday pm. George came at 8 am Thursday, fixed the central heating breakdown, cleaned up the condensate overflow, and carefully explained everything he was doing. He also gave good advice on less urgent gas-related issues. Much improved our understanding and left us happier, warmer and delighted with the Lucas service.

After looking at the Which? Trusted Trader reviews of local installers I requested a quote from Lucas for a replacement for a working but 26-year-old boiler. The first visit by engineer for estimate was on agreed time and date. I had some predetermined ideas but the engineer was professional and competent and took me through some options to make a decision on. The quote was comprehensive and accurately reflected what we discussed. The work took 2 full days including a few items I asked them to do. We were left with a tidy site and hot water via the Immersion heater for one night the first day and the system fully installed by the end of the second. All in all, I can't fault the Company or service and a pleasure to deal with a local company who take pride in their work and customer service. Would highly recommend.

This company has been providing me with boiler services as well as a replacement boiler and hot water tank. The service is thorough and the work has always been carried out on time and to the price quoted. I can only rate them as excellent.

As per usual very good and efficient servicing of the boiler carried out on the day agreed. Boiler was only installed earlier this year by Lucas and service carried out in accordance with warranty/guarantee, nevertheless as usual all round excellent work from installation to service.

The team overcame a challenging installation (second floor) up two flights of stairs. They were friendly and efficient. The price was fair given the work done and the effort of moving the items from the garage to the second floor.

Lucas plumbing carried out a large amount of work on our project including gas install, heating, general plumbing and bathroom installations, and smart heating control design and install. The team from Lucas were all extremely knowledgeable and carried out all work to a very high standard. The work was clearly quoted, and we were kept inform and throughout on progress and any issues. The Lucas team did an excellent job and resolved all the issues they encountered. All of the team were very easy to work with and we were confident to trust them to carry out the work to a high standard. The engineer arrived within the allocated time slot. They were presentable, knowledgeable and helpful as they took the time to explain what the problem that they were able to fix. We were satisfied with the whole process from the original enquiry and explanation of the services and costs involved to the promptness of the engineer and rectifying the underfloor heating problem. If we have any future underfloor heating problems, we will use them again.

Did have to wait a while but it was worth it. Job carried out quickly and efficiently. Everything was well explained.
