I have used this trader many times over the years and it is always a quick response and a friendly very competent job. The big jobs I have used them for are: I have had my oil tank replaced, my oil boiler replaced, a water leak repaired. And smaller plumbing repairs that now I am on my own are beyond my ability, Cost is reasonable and I am always happy to recommend.

Booking on the phone was easy and friendly. Arrived on time, did the job with no problems, and answered several questions I was concerned about, not in relation to the job in hand.

The engineer was polite, wearing a mask, and kept socially distanced. The service was completed quickly and efficiently without leaving any mess.

I would definitely recommend Lucas Plumbing & Heating. We had a leaky hot water cylinder that we decided to replace. Lucas Plumbing & Heating were quick to respond to my enquiry, attend the property, provide and amend quotes for work/products required, and contact me to arrange a date for work to be undertaken. The installation engineer was on time, courteous, professional, tidy, completed the work to a very high standard, removed the old cylinder and all other mess, tested the heating and hot water system thoroughly, and answered all my questions. We can’t believe how neat and tidy the new cylinder and associated pipework looks in comparison with the old system. The engineer did an excellent job, we are very grateful and will certainly be contacting Lucas Plumbing & Heating for annual servicing and to request that they undertake any additional plumbing jobs in future.

Had our annual boiler service again and as usual, the technician was on-time, pleasant and cleaned-up after the job. Can't fault these guys

I had my boiler serviced by Lucas plumbing and heating and can recommend them. Booking was straightforward, they were available within a week and the price is competitive. On the day their engineer took thorough Covid-19 precautions and carried out necessary checks and cleaning quickly, taking time to answer my questions. I also asked for quotes for plumbing work and was impressed by engagement from the customer services team afterwards.

I called Lucas Plumbing on a Tuesday to get a mains stopcock replaced. I spoke to Emily. Friendly and polite, she told me how much it would cost and booked a slot for the Friday. I received an email confirmation right afterwards and a reminder the day before. The engineer, Luke, arrived on time and fixed the problem. He showed me what he'd done, and was - again - friendly, polite, and efficient. What can I say? Spot on. I'll definitely be calling them again.

I was recommended to Lucas Plumbing &Heating and was not disappointed. I was the last job of a busy day but the Engineer George Blake was friendly, helpful and professional, happy to answer my questions and give advice. He obviously takes pride in and enjoys his job. He is a real credit to Lucas and I would be happy to recommend this company based on personal experience.

Had an unexpected oil leak after hours - left a message stating problem. Had a call back at 8 10the following morning and told an engineer would be out to me between 12and4. Visited by Luke who did a temporary repair very efficiently and said he would order a new part.. Received an email stating that the work would be completed on the 17th May- it was again in the time frame stated.

I contacted Lucas plumbing after two other plumbers had given up on finding my leak. Luke was on time and very presentable, he was diligent in his working coming to the conclusion my problem was under the kitchen concrete floor, which a detection company will find. Before Luke left he made sure I had the central heating running, which the other plumbers had left me without. I would certainly have them again.

Very capable engineers who carry out efficient work at a fair price. The quoted price was met. Covid precautions complied with.

My former plumber retired, I contacted Lucas Plumbing having consulted Which Trusted Traders. I had a mixer tap on the kitchen sink which was just over 40 years old and clearly on its last legs. Lucas Plumbing sent a very reliable chap, who assessed the problem and returned a few days later to replace the tap with a new one. Subsequently I managed to block the sink : they appeared, fixed it, and left the sink immaculately clean, far cleaner than I have ever seen it. Apart from their efficient services in practical terms, Lucas Plumbing have another great advantage in that they have an Office Manager who deals with all incoming calls, so that you are not reduced to ringing someone's mobile whilst they are working on other jobs.

Booked for a boiler service. Service was friendly, and efficient. No issues whatsoever, and I’ll be using this company again in the future.

I’ve used Lucas Plumbing on two recent occasions, after being recommended them by my usual plumbers (who were busy). They have been helpful, reliable and efficient, and also used excellent diagnostic skills to sort out the problems in our (old) property - also leaving our bathrooms clean and tidy which is always a bonus. It was also pleasant to be dealt with just as a person rather than the sometimes patronising attitude given to some older women. Thank you Lucas Plumbing.

They installed our boiler last year and we received an email reminder for the annual service. Their email system/office works well - with further reminders about the date of the service and the attending engineer. Arrived on time - job well done - and happy to discuss further work we need doing. Very confident in using them again - and recommending them to others.

Lucas Plumbing were fantastic. They arrived the day the application was made, called to ask if it'd be convenient to come around early, and got everything fixed right away. It was an exemplary service.

George from Lucas plumbing came to replace the old boiler and move it from an airing cupboard to the loft. He was super friendly and always kept me in the loop as to what he was doing. Could not recommend them enough, I will be using them for any gas/plumbing work in the future.

I have had trouble with this toilet several times over 5/6 years. The leaking /dripping is especially irritating in the early hours and prevents my sleep. Lucas answered by online enquiry very promptly after I sent photos and quoted and came the next day. I used the Firm last January for a central heating breakdown. Once again the work was undertaken speedily, professionally and frankly I could not praise the young plumber more highly.The up to the wall toilet was not easy to deal with.I was shown how to deal with the new mechanism and the en suite was left spotless.

We discovered a water leak above the ceiling of our utility room around 13:30 on 26 October. We contacted Lucas Plumbing after turning off the water to the house. They offered a plumber for the next day to come between 12:00 and 16:00, which we accepted. The plumber came the next day at 15:00, identified where the leak was and replaced a small section of pipe and a bend and cured the leak at around 16:00. We were very happy to be able to turn the water back on again!

Arrived on time and completed efficiently. Friendly and experienced engineer. Used Lucas before and will use again.

We had Lucas plumbing replace our old boiler and thermal store with a Worcester Bosch boiler and hot water tank. The team - led by George - were exceptional and did a great job. They were recommended by a neighbour who also had the same fantastic experience having had a boiler replacement. Reliable, tidy and always took the time to explain what needed doing - they clearly take pride in their workmanship and we are really pleased with the new heating system. Competitively priced too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lucas plumbing and will be using them for all my needs / servicing going forwards.

An overflow pipe was dripping intermittently. I phoned the company (on Friday) and was given an appointment for Tuesday morning. As requested I paid a upfront charge. The engineer came at the appointed time; he quickly diagnosed and rectified the problem. He was polite, efficient and helpful. No additional charge was needed. I shall certainly use this company again.
