Unexpectedly large water bill. No obvious leak. The Lucas team were very quick to answer my e-mail and I got a slot on the day. A very clear and knowledgeable young man arrived at the end of the day, and narrowed things down quickly. Turned out it was a very small persistent leak from toilet cistern to bowl. Resolved in less than 30 minutes. Great service from the word go - excellent plumber firm. Thank you.

I’ve used Lucas Plumbing on two recent occasions, after being recommended them by my usual plumbers (who were busy). They have been helpful, reliable and efficient, and also used excellent diagnostic skills to sort out the problems in our (old) property - also leaving our bathrooms clean and tidy which is always a bonus. Their email system/office works well - with further reminders about the date of the service and the attending engineer. I have had trouble with this toilet several times over 5/6 years. The leaking /dripping is especially irritating in the early hours and prevents my sleep. Lucas answered by online enquiry very promptly after I sent photos and quoted and came the next day. I used the Firm last January for a central heating breakdown. Once again the work was undertaken speedily, professionally and frankly I could not praise the young plumber more highly.The up to the wall toilet was not easy to deal with.I was shown how to deal with the new mechanism and the en suite was left spotless.

An overflow pipe was dripping intermittently. I phoned the company (on Friday) and was given an appointment for Tuesday morning. As requested I paid a upfront charge. The engineer came at the appointed time; he quickly diagnosed and rectified the problem. He was polite, efficient and helpful. No additional charge was needed. I shall certainly use this company again.

I have been very frustrated with various plumbers over the year. Never call back, don’t answer the phone, don’t come back when they said they would. Lucas were dramatically different, office staff working closely with engineers who turned when they said they would. Issue fixed. I won’t go anywhere else if they keep this up.

As ever having used Lucas Plumbing and Heating on a number of occasions in the past, the work carried out efficiently as usual. Thanks to the engineer as usual site left clean and tidy again . Reported to the office on the Monday and completed by the next Wednesday. Always a great service from their office and engineers.

Had a problem with the water. They came out the following day first thing- on time and remedied within half an hour. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We discovered that the pipe just above the mains stopcock had started to leak. The floor was being covered with water. Phoned Lucas Plumbing and Heating at 8.30am and Jake was with us within the hour. He soon replaced the leaking pipework, quickly, neatly and efficiently. What could have been a nasty flood was averted thanks to the quick response of this company. Another excellent job done.
