To advise us of the possible alternative positions in a restricting Mid-Terrace house. We chose the bathroom airing cupboard where the existing pump and controls where situated beside the hot water cylinder, a veritable spaghetti junction of copper pipes. The work required was to supply and fix as follows :- A new 28mm supply from the meter box through the ceiling to the bathroom at the rear of the house. A new Combination gas boiler picking up the existing radiator system as well as hot water, Lastly having flushed out the whole system and replaced the chemical inhibitors the radiators were balanced and the installation commissioned. This work included the removal of the redundant water tanks from the loft as well as the old boiler in the Coal shed outhouse and disposal from site , leaving the whole job clean and tidy. Work started promptly when the rented house became available, and involved working-in with three other trades. The price was competitive, The job most satisfactory and delivered on time.
