Used this company before so just went straight to them when we noticed problems with our garage roof. Work done in one day to a very high standard as usual.

This is the fifth excellent roof job that Marc and his team have done for us since 2011. A replacement of garage guttering and three separate sets of gale damage including a minor slipped tile have all been done efficiently and stood the test of time. This time we wanted our roof treated for moss and the main house guttering replaced. As before it was done well, on time and at the quoted price. A particularly commendable feature this time was that I asked for an opinion on the need for having the moss dealt with. There is a difference of view about this if you research it online with some claiming that moss causes damage and reduces the life of a roof, and some arguing the converse. I asked for Marc's professional opinion which was that, on balance and for our particular roof, there was probably little benefit in moss clearance as a roof maintenance activity, which was clearly against his commercial interests. We went ahead anyway but for essentially cosmetic reasons. I am always impressed by professionals who will give advice that is independent of their own business interests. I will not hesitate to use this firm in future.

Our roof had lost some tiles as a rafter was rotten. A lot of tiles needed to be removed, rafter replaced and tiles put back. The jobs was completed carefully and thoughtfully on the hottest day of the year. I am very pleased with the result. Mr Thackray

Great, the work was completed, along with a few other small jobs that Marc also did'nt mind doing. It was not the first time we had called on him, as he does a very good job & nothing is too much trouble. Also, he did'nt charge more than the original quote. On time, does'nt leave a mess & keeps you informed, great that he is very local to us too.

Marc was extremely helpful and has not tried to rush us into having an entirely new roof. Almost immediately he repaired the roof, and so far, it is effective and has relieved our immediate anxiety about needing a major repair before Christmas.

Fantastic work and they did a really great job! They arrived on time, were trustworthy, very professional, fast and efficient. They cleared and removed all rubbish from the premises. The work was completed to the agreed price and finished a day early than was scheduled. The team were friendly, polite and would answer any questions you may have. Nothing was too much trouble. Marc even went the extra mile, by solving and repairing the problem I had with rain water pouring inside and down my conservatory wall. I couldn’t find a conservatory repair person to do this, they were all too busy! Marc stepped in and save the day! Re-roofing, replacement of fascia and guttering. The work was carried out to a very high standard, on-time and on budget. The team were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly at all times, and worked through some difficult weather conditions. I used M J Roofing a couple of years back to remove an unstable chimney and was so pleased with their work then that I chose to use them again to rebuild our garage roof, which had been held up with acro's for about 10 years! Work replacing Guttering, Fascia and Soffits and a number of broken roof slates, was carried out at very short notice, arrived on the day when they said they would, and on time, Marc and his team worked nearly non stop for the two days it took to finish the work, the work carried out was finished to a very high standard, reasonably priced, I would highly recommend them.

Obtained a quote from MJ Roofing who arrived within the agreed timescale, viewed the work that was required. They gave good guidance and proceeded to follow up with a proper written quotation which we accepted. The work was completed within a week to a high standard and spent time making sure the area was left clean and tidy. After the work was completed, they followed up with a formal invoice. Very impressed with the service and the friendliness of the fitters. Very good.

Marc arrived on time to quote and gave me his business card - the job was to replace guttering for a large 4-bedroom house and garage built on a slope. His visit was followed promptly by a written quote. After accepting the competitive quote the work was scheduled within weeks. The scaffolder contacted me to arrange his visit - Lee and his team were tidy, swift, polite and professional. Once the scaffolding was up Marc and his team arrived and took less than 2 days to complete the job. They were friendly, polite, professional, very hard working and left the site tidy. Marc tested the new guttering. As agreed on acceptance of the quote, they left me a box of old guttering parts to give to neighbours, re-connected our water butts, and cleaned those fascia boards within safe reach of the scaffolding. Lee arranged with me for the scaffolding to be taken down promptly and the site was left tidy. Marc provided a professional invoice, as per the quote, and we paid promptly for a job well done. Marc and his son did an excellent job fitting a velux window over a dark spot on our stairs. They worked efficiently and cleared up after themselves leaving everything neat and tidy. They were courteous and considerate while they were here and we would certainly use them again.

Excellent work done on gable ends rebuild and pitched roof repairs. Marc and his team worked non-stop, were courteous and very tidy. They were punctual and communicated if there was a delay. Everything was done as set out in their quote (which was very clear) and the cost was acceptable. There were no hidden 'extras' and I was shown photos of the work done.
