Took our family car there for a replacement clutch & flywheel - not a cheap job at almost £1900. Car was returned later than quoted, leaving us in a courtesy car that wasn’t fit for purpose. Upon receiving the car it was apparent that there was an issue with the clutch and flywheel. I called MTS & was told that a new clutch & flywheel would have defects and needed to bed in! Called again (and again, and again and emailed.) it was agreed that MTS would investigate and fix under warranty. To help with warranty costs I reluctantly authorised further work at a cost of over £1200. It took over two weeks, during which time I wasn't told the truth by multiple members of staff. I had to go to MTS and retrieve items from the car. The car was parked under a Transit van and this left oil stains on our car. There was also embedded metal from grinding fallout embedded in the paint and trim at the rear of our car. The seat was stained with oil and the steering wheel was filthy. I believe no care was taken by MTS. When we received the car back, it still wasn’t fixed! I voiced my frustration and was first told by Keith that they would again fix under warranty. I was subsequently emailed and told that they would look at it but I would have to pay for the faulty parts! Communications broke down. Luckily I paid with my credit card so had little choice but to peruse a chargeback to recover the funds. During this time, the flywheel failed completely. 10 months from start to finish. Disgusting service.

I have used this firm for MOT/servicing for several years and have always found them very pleasant, reliable and helpful. Today I called in unexpectedly as a warning light was flashing and they obtained the necessary spare parts and fitted them, all within about an hour. Excellent service.

Friendly helpful staff. Concerned to ensure that an intermittent fault had been resolved. If there are any further problems I was invited to return for further assistance.

I've used MTS three times and found their service to be excellent. Competent, friendly, and reasonably priced. I recommend them.
