We have used Manorside Electrical many times on our rental properties both commercial and residential. The work has included safety certificates, problem-solving and installation upgrades. Electrical testing was carried out on my house and all seemed fine. Afterwards, I received an email with a list of faults and a price for remedial action. After I queried one item and suggested and asked for availability and cost updates the company was unresponsive. The admin staff were responsive when I requested the certificate confirming "unsatisfactory" readings and results. Eventually, I found an alternative electrician who identified that high readings were actually caused by a disconnected earth wire at the fuse board which was easily fixed i.e. reconnected.

Manorside have installed the lighting in our back and front gardens and we are delighted with the results. Not only does it all look beautiful but it all does what it is supposed to do. I wanted to have some new garden lights fitted and a socket repaired and was let down by another local electrician who took ages to respond to my emails and calls and, after finally turning up to have a look, failed to get back to me with a quote. Manorside responded on the same day I contacted them and were very professional about arranging appointments and quotes. The job was done well and quickly and for a very reasonable cost by a very nice electrician. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and using them again.

Work carried out: Fitted new RCD consumer unit. Replaced the main earth conductor. Replaced Class I light fittings . Electrical work to support a shower installation. All work was carried out as scheduled to the agreed quotation. The contractor was easy to work with and explained the changes required to the property before carrying out the work. (A site visit was carried out initially to understand and agree the scope of the work). I was impressed with the capability of the contractor and the work was carried out on the day requested, the shower installation was tricky due to limited space. When the work was completed, the contractor tidied up well.

I instructed Manorside Electrical for the second time recently and they have, once again, delivered customer service excellence with their reliable and knowledgable service. No job is too big or too small and they run their operation seamlessly. I booked a date and time on which their electrician turned up and with very little background of the work to be carried out, completed the job effortlessly. They had to return for a further date and once again booked in, turned up and completed what was outstanding. Manorside's electricians are reliable, friendly, knowledgable and extremely professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my electrical needs.

Totally professional service from start to finish. Well presented, tidy team that arrived and carried out first fix electrical work and a month later the second fix. They easily got around issue of tiler loosing the bathroom cabinet feed by cutting a small hole in the tile and fishing out the cable. Cabinet hides the hole perfectly. Electrical certificate issued the next day. Would 100% recommend Manorside Electrical to everyone.

I had to replace my electrical box, a very old one, and also to replace my lights with LEDs. The electrician, Ryan, came exactly on time, did all the jobs asked, and we added a number of extra jobs onto the list, which he willingly also did. He went out, bought the equipment, and also fitted the extra lights and extractor fans. Ryan had a very nice manner; nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them.

Their electrician turned up at the exact time they had promised and introduced himself. He explained what he was going to do and double checked the location of the lights. Despite the snow, Manorside text me and kept me posted about when the electricians would arrive. I was very impressed when the men covered their boots to protect our carpets and worked efficiently and tidily. I only needed an old light fitting to be taken down and replaced with a new one. Not only was this done with no fuss but the men took away my old fitting to dispose of safely. I cannot recommend this company more highly to anyone needing any electrical work doing and who are looking for a reliable, professional company to do it.

I had Roland and Alan visit me today to put up a light. On the first visit the light which I had purchased online didn’t have a long enough wire so Roland and Alan had to come back and fit another light which I bought which had a longer wire. Nothing was a bother for them. They were polite, professional and arrived on time! An absolute delight to have in my house. I also got a text confirming the time and date of my appointment.
