Mark Buckley Painting & Decorating

It has been a pleasure to have Mark decorating both inside and outside the house. A great job cleanly and carefully undertaken on schedule and to the agreed budget, couldn’t have been more helpful.

We contacted Mark to undertake the painting of the lounge and dining rooms, which entailed sanding, filling, preparations, primers, satinwood to the door architraves, and emulsions to the ceilings and walls. Mark was courteous, amiable, very reliable and punctual. From advising over colours and product selection to his workmanship and attention to detail, he provided an excellent and efficient service from start to finish. We are more than pleased with his work and he is without doubt our first choice for further works we plan to undertake in the near future.

Mark painted the exterior of the house- including fascias, soffitts, window frames and sills and also a decorative gable topped by a finial. The sills and finial required repairs - all done and finished to a very high standard. I initially contacted Mark via email - he responded promptly and provided a timely quote having explained the materials he was proposing to use - all of high quality. He arrived at the agreed date and time and took great care in preparing the surfaces for painting and performing the necessary repairs. The painting was done to an extremely high standard. Mark's experience and eye for detail shine through and he kept me informed of plans and process - which had to change due to a spell of poor weather. Neighbours and friends have greatly admired his work. Customer satisfaction is very important to him and I have already recommended him to a close neighbour.

Mark was a pleasure to have at our house during the duration of the job. He promptly came to give a quote and when he started he arrived on time and worked diligently, always communicating as the work progressed. He before hand investigated the special type of paint required for the conservatory I would recommend him without hesitation and have him for further requirements.

I was looking for someone to redecorate a small cloakroom following the installation of a new suite. I found Mark on Which Trusted Traders and contacted him initially by email, to which responded quickly. He gave me a start date and arrived punctually to begin. He made an excellent job of stripping the existing wallpaper and painting the walls, ceiling, and woodwork. He held to his original quote even though the job took a little longer than anticipated. Found Mark on "Which Traders" and made contact by email. He responded quickly and provided a quotation which we accepted. Mark started and completed the work on the days agreed and within the budget agreed. He worked to a very high standard and was both co-operative and understanding during the course of the job. When the work was completely finished, all materials and debris were cleared away. We will use his services again soon.

Outstanding! Mr Buckley was engaged to paint the interior of my house, that included woodwork and walls. He made good walls and skirting boards that had been abused by a tenant, all completed in a week at a competitive price. His work is of a very high standard and in addition to that he was engaged to do, on his own initiative he put knotting on a new outside door and adjusted a kitchen door.
