Mark Harvey

Mark Harvey has been maintaining my canary yellow rubber kitchen floor since 2016. Mark scrubs off the top surface, cleans the floor and finishes with a protective polish. He comes every two years, and has tackled every issue with calm persistence. This includes working around large items of furniture which were built in the kitchen, so although movable, cannot be removed to give a clear surface for his efficient machinery. He also spotted the tiny toilet which also has a rubber floor but that I didn't mention at first as I thought it would be too small for him to access, but he does that as well. One year he cleaned a favourite carpet that my father had brought back from Lebanon 70 years ago, and the colours really showed up well. There was a three year gap this year instead of two years due to building work, and I really saw the difference as the protective polish began to wear off and more footfall and chair marks began to show up. The floor was restored to its usual happy self and now glows in the sunshine as it is meant to do.

Carpets cleaned throughout the house - I was asked to move little pieces out of the way but the team moved the bigger bits which was such a help. Vinyl flooring (Amtico and Karndean) cleaned and repolished. This was the first time they had all been done in five years and we're a busy family of five! Great job done, and as I had been recommended by a friend I was comfortable enough to leave the house and not disturb.

I contacted Mark Harvey Professional cleaning for advice on cleaning our rubber floors, which were in very poor condition. Despite being based in London they were willing to travel to Suffolk to carry out the work. I sent detailed photos and measurements , they gave me a quote and a date was arranged. Mark and his assistant turned up on time as arranged and carried out the work in a professional manner. We were very happy with the result and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Mark performed a general clean of our fitted wool carpets and some spot attention to areas which had some residual staining from dog urine which I had attempted to clean. The staining was significantly reduced and the carpets look much better. He also cleaned a viscose rug we have and that too was greatly improved.

Mark cleaned our sitting room carpet. His work was very professional and we are delighted with the result.
