Mark efficiently completed a few jobs and was able to accommodate me at short notice. He takes great care to ensure everything is working correctly before leaving and is very knowledgeable. As always Mark was professional, cheerful and reasonable. I will definitely use Mark again.

Mark came round on the same day we called him to discuss a leaking Hot Water tank. He identified quickly that the tank required replacing and also suggested moving its location to give us more space around it. The quote was provided later that same day and the work was done the following week on an agreed day. As he was draining the central heating to replace the tank he included replacing a failed plinth radiator. Mark's work was to a high standard and he ensured that everything was covered to avoid dirt and water. We cannot praise him highly enough and have already asked him to return later in the year to quote for replacing several very old radiators. It is clear Mark is a tradesperson who is not only capable but is also prepared to offer sensible suggestions to improve the overall job. The work was completed within the allocated day and for the agreed cost.

Called Mark to repair a leaking drain down stop cock and he repaired it with the minimum of fuss. Have used Mark for over four years for both plumbing repairs and boiler servicing, and on each occasion I have always received exceptional and friendly service, and this was no exception. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Mark replaced and fitted a new hot water cylinder, corrected the pipework which was prone to airlocks and replaced some damaged sections of pipe. Mark is very approachable and knowledgeable and works to a very high standard. Communication throughout was always very clear. All the work areas were kept clean and he tidied up afterwards. This is the second time I have used Mark and would have absolutely no hesitation in using him again.

Mark replaced four radiators, removed a fifth radiator and capped pipes and also serviced the boiler. He installed all the radiators perfectly level always checking with me the locations I would like them to be fitted and altered pipework very neatly. Mark works to a very high standard and is really approachable. He kept the areas clean and tidied up afterwards. He stayed very late as not to leave me without hot water or heating and made sure everything was working correctly before leaving. I would have no hesitation in using Mark again.

Mark did a full central heating and gas boiler install, everything was done to a high quality degree with attention to detail. So far the system has been working very well and I can even turn the heating on and off via our preferred Google home app. Mark was always very friendly and professional and we couldn't recommend him enough.

Mark visited and was able to identify the fault. ark even spoke with my insurance company telling them the work they stated needed to be completed was against the manufacterers installation guide. Mark cut/capped existing 15, 22 and 28 mm pipes and installed six lever valves in our bathrooms, staying until 8 pm to ensure that everything was complete and to his usual high standard. We have used him twice before as his commitment to a high quality of work and standards and meeting the needs of the customer is paramount. He always discusses, explains and listens to customers' needs and instils confidence. He is very friendly, approachable and committed to everything that he does. Mark fitted a replacement Worcester Bosch boiler for me following recommendations from a previously engaged heating engineer. This did not solve the heating issue that I had with the system. He returned for a second visit to re-pipe the heating pipes in the airing cupboard that he thought was the most likely cause of the system problem. I am delighted with the results. A thoroughly professional tradesman, very reliable and the job done at a fair price.

I consider myself very lucky to have come across Mark, He is one in a million. I had a boiler installed two years ago, the installers convinced me that the new boiler and cylinder would not fit in the area where the existing one was. They put it in the cupboard in the small bedroom. I was never really happy with this arrangement but thought there was no other option. Recently, I saw a guy working near where I lived, I asked for his opinion, he put me onto Mark. After initial contact Mark, told me no problem to do what I required and would quote, this he did by the following day. Price was good so I went ahead. His work was exceptional, did everything I required, put everything back in place. I was impressed with his knowledge and experience. Finished the job when he said he would, no hidden Suprises, cleaned-up, also serviced my boiler and Gas fire. I have since called him back again to fit a new radiator, again good Job. Mark is a very affable, good humoured, friendly, and most of all a very experienced engineer I highly recommend him and will always use him for any future work.

Mark did a great job of fix my water tank by replacing the elements. He worked solidly on the job and cleared away any mess. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Contacted Mark late in the afternoon 2 days ago, regarding a leak I had discovered in our airing cupboard. He said he'd call in on the way home and have a look at the source. He confirmed our suspicions that it would be the water cylinder and said he'd let us know a price when he got back. He was unable to ring because of getting home late but called first thing yesterday morning to tell us a price. We agreed for the work to be done, as it was much less than we had anticipated, and he said he was able to fit us in today. He arrived on time and was polite and courteous. He set about draining the system and went out to get the cylinder from the supplier. Not out for long and cracked on with the job. After getting to a stage where it could be tested, there was a secondary fault identified with the ball valve in the loft tank, so a price was given and agreed on, and off he shot to get the part. New part fitted and on to a secondary test. Mark also found a faulty diverter valve (hasn't worked properly for as long as I can remember) and this was priced up. He had to shoot out again and just made it to the supplier before closing. The work is all complete within 48 hours of discovery, and all for less than we had originally anticipated just for the cylinder. Mark has also been able to advise on some preventative maintenance to mitigate the risk of a potentially expensive malfunction. All in all, very impressed with his professionalism and standard of work.

Mark attended to look at a leak in our loft and fit a hob. The parts needed for the leak were obselete, however, this did not stop him traveling to multiple suppliers until he found a stockist. He worked quickly and efficiently, when a problem occurred he was able to think outside the box to solve it. His work was excellent and we would thoroughly recommend him.

Mark came round to rewire our central heating controls and fit a Hive system. Whilst completing the work he noticed a problem with our Hot Water thermostat and replaced it for us. All his work was within the budget he quoted and he did not charge us anymore labour to resolve any of the extra issues. Our Heating is now working better than ever before we are so pleased with his work and he is a really nice guy too!! Would highly recommend.

Mark replaced our old boiler with a combi boiler. He did the job without a lot less fuss than we anticipated, no seeming problems and every thing was done professionally and very neatly. He was a nice pleasant man and polite. He explained how every thing worked and I would recommend him to do your jobs.

Mark fitted us a replacement gas boiler for a competitive budget. He did the work over two days and did not start before 10am which allowed us to be up and about without rushing in the morning. His work is professional to a high standard. He is easy to get along with and has a pleasant demeanor. If you need a new boiler I would recommend him to you.

Mark Hopkinson gave us a competitive quote, and importantly completed the job very neatly indeed (important as the new boiler would be installed in a newly refurbished Utility Room, and we did not want brand new surfaces etc to be damaged). Gas boiler replaced at agreed time and within agreed budget. The reason I used Mark was because I knew that the work would fully comply with legal and trade requirements and be done to exacting standards. Eg:- spacing between pipe brackets is uniform. The standard of Mark’s workmanship goes beyond that I have experienced with tradesmen in the past. Would definitely recommend if you want a perfect job done.
