Ashley was reliable, provided a quote in the evening after viewing the living room during the day, he was responsive during arranging dates and flexible when I needed to rearrange. He was on time when working. He's done an excellent job of my living room walls, which were quite damaged. He was friendly, approachable and took pride in his work. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Ashley is a gem. The quality of his work is excellent. He works fast, is tidy and considerate and is a pleasure to communicate with. He has replastered a number of rooms (walls and ceilings, where the existing plaster was damaged or bad quality) for us over the last few months and always responds quickly, he has been flexible to fit our schedule as far as he can and delivers on time with no surprises. Most importantly his work is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend him 100%.

Ashley re-plastered two bedrooms in our home. From the initial assessment to the end of the job he was courteous, professional and hardworking. He advised on the best course of action and covered our windows and kept things tidy throughout the course of the job. He adapted his work to our needs when we decided to completely replace a lathe and plaster wall with plasterboard and everything was completed very quickly. We're really happy with the finished result and will definitely use Markham Plastering again.

Ashley has just replastered several walls for us after taking them back to the brick, and we are so pleased with the end result. The finish is really high quality and he was a pleasure to have in the house, keeping dust and mess to a minimum and arriving promptly at the same time each day. We'd highly recommend him, and hope to use him again in future.

Ashley plastered our bedroom for us. He responded to my initial inquiry promptly and was able to give me a quote within the week. He was friendly and helpful when we had questions about how to prepare the room. We were really pleased with the finished result. Ashley was always on time and his work was really tidy. He did a great job even in the problem areas we were a bit worried about. We will definitely be using him again and would highly recommend him!

Ash’s work was of a very high standard and we were extremely happy with the finish. Ash arrived early every day ready to start and worked throughout the day. He totally transformed the interior of our home giving it a completely new look. The finish to the ceiling in the stairwell was amazing! This must have been difficult as it is very high, he did not complain once. Ash was very polite, friendly and considerate, cleaning up each day after he had finished. I would certainly recommend him and would not hesitate to have him take on any other work that I might need doing in the future.

Ashley's a star! He's polite, attentive and tidy - and we're delighted with his work. The hallway walls of our 1930s-built flat were pretty beaten-up and in desperate need of replastering. After finding him on Which? Trusted Traders, Ashley was easy to get hold of and was happy to come and take a look at our hallway to quote for the work. He provided us with a very reasonable, itemised quote, which is exactly what he invoiced us for. His communication was good, and we appreciated him explaining the stages of the work. Following a cancellation, Ashley was able to fit us in a week earlier than planned, which worked well for us. He turned up on time and worked for a solid eight hours, pausing only for a couple of short breaks and to allow the plaster to dry. He was happy to accommodate a spot of plastering in our lounge, where the weight of a wall-mounted heater had split a section of plasterboard. And when the work was complete, he carefully cleaned up after himself. Ashley skilfully applied layers of plaster, lining up to angle beads to create lovely sharp corners. The result is a beautifully smooth and even finish with a porcelain-like feel. A couple of painters who have since come to quote for decorating have commented on the quality of Ashley's plastering - very reassuring! Ashley did a fantastic job, and we would definitely recommend his services.

Great job fitting new plasterboard ceiling and skimming walls in an outhouse we’re turning into an home office. Really nice guy too. Recommend.
