Marple Glass and Glazing

I am a landlord. I phoned Richard at Marple Glass to sort out a problem with a conservatory at a tenant's house. They managed everything with the tenant, I had to do nothing. The price was more competitive than other local companies. The work done was of a high quality and it was done in a matter of days. Can't recommend this company enough!!

I first telephoned Richard enquiring about repairing and upgrading one window in my house. I had previously telephoned 2 larger companies with my enquiry and only got quite rude dismissals. I found Marple Glass and Glazing on a Google search, and telephoned. Richard answered, and I could tell as soon as I spoke to him that he would be able to help me. He listened to what I thought I wanted and advised me of all the options, which he explained and we discussed. I was confident from my first speaking to him that he would do a first class job. They did a beautiful job, the attention to detail, the quality, the finish and the cleaning up, all second to none. A real pleasure to deal with them. I am delighted with the work, and will be getting more done in the near future.

Reglazing and adjusting windows in two rental properties, including renewing the external seals. Richard was upfront about being really busy so we would need to wait but in the end he managed to fit our work in when another job was finished earlier than expected. A delight to deal with as he has a really helpful manner and got the job done efficiently, cleaning up afterwards and making sure it was carried out safely. A word too about his assistant John who was equally pleasant and efficient.

We chose Marple Glass & Glazing as we wanted a Which trusted trader and we are delighted we did as Richard did such a good job for us...in fact three jobs. We needed a double glazed unit with encapsulated stained glass repaired. I was a little anxious about this but Richard and his assistant were meticulous and took it out with no fuss or mess, gave us a temporary glaze and then returned and re-fitted the original window.. restored beautifully. We also had a completely new window fitted and a replacement door panel to repair a upvc cellar door. We assumed we would need a new door but we got the perfect repair, saving a lot of money. We can't recommend Richard highly enough. Not just a professional, quality job but an incredibly friendly person who was a pleasure to have in the house.

We had a new composite back door fitted and from our first meeting with Richard to discuss what we wanted, to completion of the installation, we were very impressed with all aspects of the service. Richard is courteous, helpful and friendly, and always returned our calls when we had any questions. He is also extremely knowledgeable about all things related to glass and glazing. When the door was installed he arrived on time and the job was completed to a very high standard in the time that he had estimated, (and within the agreed budget) yet he and his co-worker still found the time to chat with us. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the installation work, and with the fact that they cleaned up so thoroughly afterwards. I would definitely use Marple Glass and Glazing again, and recommend them to others.

I can't recommend Richard more highly. He does a great job in a professional and efficient manner. I wouldn't use anyone else for glass and glazing.

Richard is extremely knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble to ensure an amazing finish. We had 100 year old leader glass cleaned and cut down to fit within glazed units. The result exceeded all expectations. We would definitely use Richard again in future and would recommend him for a quality product and service.

I needed to have my front window removed to allow my new sofa to be delivered. I spoke to Richard and he visited my property straight away whilst I was at work to check out the window to be removed. Work arranged straight away to allow the delivery to go ahead at a specified time. Richard arrived in plenty of time to remove the window just in time for the delivery. He the. Helped to lift the 3 elements of the sofa into the house and then started to replaced the window again. This despite the fact that it was pouring with rain all morning! He was very friendly and chatty throughout and all down at a very fair price. I can’t recommend Richard highly enough providing a first class service and leaving everything as it was before including replacing the render on the outside and left clean and tidy both inside and out. If you have any Glazing requirements Marple Glaa and Glazing should always be first choice.

Richard contacted me very quickly about options on the replacement glass for my back door. Due to Building Control it required it to be fireproofed (to avoid having to replace full door). He explained the options and price and I went ahead. Arrived earlier than expected and did a good, quick and clean job.

Had two double glazed units fitted. Good response to my initial query. Came and measured up promptly. Very tidy workers with a very pleasant manner. Units were fitted with no mess and price quoted was priced charged.
