Masons Moving Group Limited

We sold our property in March 2021 and put our household goods in to storage with Masons; they moved us in to our new house in October 2022. The collection of our goods was adequate but seemed a little haphazard in the way the property was put into the storage containers with, it seemed, little attention paid to the 'Fragile' and 'This way up' signs on the boxes. That said there seems to be little damage to the boxes we've opened so far in our new house. The delivery to our new house was very efficient and their team were very careful in avoiding damage to the new house. Our main issue is with the storage. We were told that the storage facilities were climate controlled but a lot of the soft materials we've opened are musty and damp and we have mould on some of the furniture. As a moving company they're probably no better or worse than the others but if you're planning to store household goods it might be worth physically checking on the temperature/humidity of the facilities and compare with other companies.

The Masons team were all absolutely fantastic. They provided an incredibly professional service at all levels. They were really accommodating even though our date changed several times. The removal team took incredible care packing delicate items and were really efficient at getting things sorted with minimum fuss and stress. The whole process was fantastically smooth. Would not hesitate to use Masons again. Awesome service well done Masons!!!

The Masons team were excellent from start to finish. The move was quite daunting and stressful for us as we had to move quite quickly and had to make big decisions on short notice. Nothing was daunting or too much trouble for Richard and his team. Richard was always there to help us work out the best options and go the extra mile to accommodate our ever changing circumstances. We had to move our furniture into storage for a couple of month and moved from Cardiff to Winchester. The teams doing both removal and delivery were excellent, professional and very experienced. I was impressed by the diligent, efficient and speedy manner in which they approached the move and dealing with challenging parking situations. I will use Masons again and have no problem in recommending them.

The 2 men assigned to us for the day operated with the utmost professionalism, both during the move out from our 4 bed property and the move into a smaller 3 bed house. What was most amazing was the speed they worked at and the care taken with our possessions, my wife and I thought that our sofa would not get through the front door of our new home but it was soon sat in the front room with no damage to the sofa, walls or paintwork. Would I use Masons again? Most definitely. Would I recommend Masons to anyone else? Most certainly In my opinion, you would not find a more professional company with employee's who put the customer first and foremost.....Amazing experience.

Masons are excellent and I’d happily recommend them. They moved me from Swansea to Barry very effectively. The office staff were friendly and professional and the removals men were just the same. They took great care moving not only the easier but also the more challenging items out of one house and garden and into another. The bed mattresses were put into sealed packs and the furniture was padded. Everything was well stacked and secured in the lorry and van and nothing was damaged, be it the moved items or the buildings. Many thanks to the removals team Wyn, Warren, Simon and Steve - and to the Masons ’boys’ (I was a schoolboy contemporary) and the office lady.

Helpful staff in office. Having a partial move of furniture for storage but at last minute the new accommodation became available so change of destination was made without fuss On removal day the movers worked non stop and still were able to smile and be helpful. A credit to Masons. Masons being a long established company cannot be faulted.

Masons provided an excellent and professional service in both packing and delivering our belongings to our new house. Despite the fact that it was on a pedestrian street, they took the added distance (30 metres) in their stride and were good-humoured throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

This is the second time we have used Masons to move house - does giving them repeat business not constitute a glowing review in itself? This second time the service was just as good as the first. Their price was competitive. The office staff that we dealt with during the initial stages of planning and agreeing the move were unfailingly polite, responsive, honest and a pleasure to deal with. The crew that Masons sent to pack and load our furniture were very respectful of both ourselves and our goods. They worked incredibly hard in what can only be described as "trying" weather conditions. The entire move (of several hundred miles) proceeded exactly as planned and was completed on schedule and on budget and our chattels suffered not one scratch. We can't speak highly enough of Masons Movkng Group.

We have used Masons before so they were the first people we looked to for our recent move from South Wales to Kent. They provided an efficient, professional but friendly service and are good value. As we sold back in April, everything was put in storage for three months but everything arrived intact and undamaged as everything was carefully packed. We moved in on two of the hottest days on record in the UK but they carried on regardless without complaint. When you call the company, more often than not it is one of the Mason family that answers the call as they obviously like to keep close to their customers, which is a good sign for any business.

The team at Masons were so helpful and supportive throughout the move process, able to accommodate date changes as and when we became aware of these. Carl & Carl took care of us on the day and again were wonderful, they did a great job and called in extra hands to make sure we were in after a late exchange - brilliant! So pleased we chose Masons.

We moved from a five bed home to an apartment. So it was quite a big job so quite daunting for us, and to add a little complexity, half way through the process we had to change to non-simultaneous completion. Nothing was too much trouble for Brett and Richard and their teams. Every obstacle I threw at them they had a solution. It made a challenging situation a lot more bearable. Every team member we dealt with was polite and considerate of our situation. Expertly packed, even big items like our treasured pool table and lots of glass and mirrors. Everything was protected and packed perfectly. And the guys were so lovely and made us feel at ease Thank you to you all.

The staff member who attended to the packing, worked very systematically and effectively during the process to ensure all ornaments, mirrors and tvs we’re carefully and securely packed. He was at all times very polite considerate and trustworthy. On the day of removal, a team of 3 arrived at the agreed time and they took great care in dismantling beds and wrapping the respective parts, together with all sofas and wooden furniture before transferring them to the removal lorry. I was impressed by the diligent and efficient manner in which they attended to matters and also their approach in ensuring the furniture was stored and individual items recorded as they were placed in their respective wooden containers. I was given a copy of the items placed in each of the 4 respective containers. Not only was it agreed with Masons to store my furniture until my new build property is available to me but they also agreed to take furniture that I no longer required, to the home of my daughter and this was safely delivered. My wife and I have been extremely impressed by all staff who we have met and or spoken to by telephone. They have all been extremely helpful and everything that we asked or expected of them was attended to. The company are without doubt a very professional and caring organisation and I am happy to unreservedly recommend their service.

We cannot fault Masons and we think they are excellent in all departments. In our conversations with Brett and Richard we always felt that we were being listened to and valued, and most importantly they had time for us. The details of the move (a stressful downsize!) were made very clear, with helpful advice given including options for doing all the packing ourselves compared with having it all done for us. The fees were listed accurately with no hidden extras, and we thought they were very reasonable - and later on when we saw how hard Damian and Nathan worked (flat out for two full days) we think that they earned every single penny. Fern visited us to get an idea of the scale of the move and gave us a really accurate estimate of what was needed having also visited our purchase property to check on access issues for vans. We were also impressed with the possibility of using Masons storage if needed. We could only confirm the precise moving date within 10 days of completion, and Masons were very understanding about our uncertainty. They have a huge fleet of vans and an experienced workforce that offer contingency planning should anything be delayed. The day before the move they came in to pack up all our stuff, with the staff understanding immediately the layout and the destinations of boxes for rooms. On the actual day everything went smoothly with no breakages and all boxes and furniture left in the right locations. All in all we would recommend Masons without reservation.

Masons moved me from Cardiff to Surrey. I used the packing service and everything was wrapped and cushioned. My move went very smoothly. All the team were helpful, polite and efficient and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Great service, patient with our ever changing moving dates. The team moving us to and from storage were professional and lovely. The office team were a little blunt but helpful.

Excellent service from a family business. We are repeat customers as Masons did a great job last time. All of the staff both on the move itself and in the office were professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Masons also agreed to store garden plants for us for until we move into our new home and the team leader of the move said he would make sure they are watered. Definitely above and beyond.

First class service from beginning to end, and competitively priced. A great team did the packing, loading and unloading, they were professional, hard working and careful with our belongings. At key points during our two day move, when it looked like the job would fall behind, the call was made to send more men to augment the core team. As a result, the move was as stress free as it could possibly be for us. Have already recommended Masons to friends and will continue to do so in future.

This week I moved from my flat in London to my new home in South Wales. When picking a removal firm, I tried one of the big national firms, but they were unhelpful, didn’t get back to me and on one occasion, quite rude! So I thought I would try a local firm and came across Mason’s Moving Group Ltd. From the first contact to the last box being out away, they were friendly professional and just really nice. They made the whole experience stress free… I was particularly impressed with the two guys who actually did the removal; Warren and Gavin. From the first call to let me know they were on the way, to the empty van yesterday afternoon, they have been brilliant. Polite, efficient, patient, professional - they have made moving a pleasure and easy (at least for me!).

We received our completion date at short notice and I called a few companies and also family but Mason's fit our needs. Paul came out for a look around to see what needed moving, agreed on price and job was set. The next morning Simon and another guy showed up and the move began. Throughout the whole morning, they were very quick, professional and such a pleasure to deal with. They were also both very patient and understanding. As our contract exchange, completion and move was all happening on the same day it was very hectic but we got it all sorted thanks to Masons.

After 35 years in the same smallholding, we had amassed a ton of Stuff. Masons moved us 120 miles with good humour and great professionalism. The lads packed and wrapped every last item as though they were priceless. Faultless indeed.

We have three times used Masons Moving Group for furniture removal and also once for long-term storage. Removals staff were friendly courteous and professional, treating our property with great care. Fragile items such as televisions were well packaged by staff before removal even though we did not pay an additional sum for a packing service. Both removals were undertaken without any damage either to the home ( despite difficult upstairs access on one occasion) or to the furniture /goods being moved. Our property was in storage for a lengthy time ( about 12 months) and was found to be in excellent condition when it was eventually removed from storage . We would not hesitate to use Masons Moving Group again or to recommend this firm to others.

After what was thought to be an impossible sofa to move into our new home, Masons tried again with a new look at it all, and it worked. Excellent job.
