MD Aerials

Was pleased that the gentleman had the courtesy to phone me back after leaving him a message on his answerphone. We agreed on a day and time. He came and fixed the blown down aerial. Very efficient. Would highly recommend him.

We had a noisy aerial (part of it had become loose and clattered in windy weather) and no TV reception. Mike gave us an estimate for adjusting the aerial and another for replacing it. He arrived promptly and investigated everything thoroughly, discovering corroded cables along with our very old aerial. He discussed options with us. Then, he replaced the cables and aerial before checking that everything worked. He also removed the old aerial and left everything in a tidy state. Altogether, we thought his approach was thorough, friendly and efficient. We would definitely be happy to recommend his work.

Michael was going on holiday when I phoned him and we booked a date for him to come on his return. He arrived with a smile exactly when he had promised and quickly diagnosed the problem .He was efficient ,friendly and polite and successfully secured part of the aerial which had become dislodged in the bad weather, and charged me only for his labour. I would certainly call on him again and would recommend him to my friends.

This is the third time we have called on Mike's services and he came through again. Prompt response, on time attendance, clean, tidy and professional workmanship, and he went the extra mile to help me solve the network problem which was no part of his original cabling brief. Contacted Mike asking for advice on updating and moving satellite dish, he called back very promptly to arrange a convenient day/time to come out to look at the job and give quote, arranged to come out the following week, arrived exactly on time, explained everything well, was very courteous, tidy and efficient.

Removal of aerial sorted within a week. Very easy to organise with great communication throughout. Work completed on time and even removed a stray football without being asked to do so! Highly recommended.

Mike visited initially to review the issues with several TV's in our house. He returned a week later as agreed and sorted the issue - connecting new cabling to an existing aerial that had been moved following building work, retuning smart TV's that weren't picking up BBC channels. Moved 1 TV to bedroom. Wall mounted but awkward location. Installed 2 new TV's wall mounted. One corner mount and one flat wall. All work very professionally done. Would not hesitate to use Mike again

Mike of MD Aerials put up a wall mount for the TV and mounted the TV on to it. He also dealt with the associated cabling, including drilling a hole through a wall and fixing conduit to keep everything tidy and out of sight. His work was very neat and he did not damage any of the room decorations. He cleaned up afterwards and left everything spic and span. The work was done on time and to the previously agreed budget. Mike was very polite, wore a mask indoors all the time and was easy and pleasant to deal with. I would have no hesitation in using him again and recommending him to others.

Wall mounted TV's and installed a satellite dish. Worked fast and well, very tidy. Covid aware, wore a mask at all times inside. Had all the right equipment and knowledge. Polite and helpful; proud of his work. Fair prices for good and honest work.

I contacted Mike at MD Aerials for help setting up a second-hand TV. This is possibly not one of his usual tasks but he willingly came along promptly and soon had the TV working. He was very patient and carefully explained the new set up. We couldn't have done it without him. He had done work for us some years ago installing a new aerial socket and fixing a TV to the wall. I would highly recommend him.

Mike is very up to date with equipment and careful with checking for faults before setting a plan. I appreciated that Mike does not replace equipment which does not need replacing. Extremely safe and speedy installation and took trouble with checking lines and television reception. Very clean and tidy. Covid aware and uses safe practices.

Mounted our TV onto an internal wall quickly and just as we wanted. Tidy when working, protected surfaces and had the job done swiftly and well.

We had a reception problem with our tv. Michael turned up promptly, quickly identified the problem and explained it to me in terms I understood. He then gave me the options available depending on what he found when inspecting the roof aerial. He remedied my reception problem quickly and efficiently. The cost was very reasonable.

I spoke to Mike on the phone initially and explained that I wanted some help to fix a broken roof tile and replace a temperature sensor on my solar panel on my roof. I immediately got a good vibe about him from our conversation and asked if he would come out to have a look at my roof and also how much roughly it would cost to which he said about £60 (a normal call out charge). He turned up as agreed and was a pleasure to deal with. My broken tile turned out to be rotten wooden roof batons and damaged roof felt meaning my tile was tilted giving the impression it was cracked. I supplied him with some wooden batons I luckily had in my garage and some spare roof felt I had in my shed and he fixed the problem. Mike then had a look at trying to replace the temperature sensor in my solar panel but after quite a while trying to gain access to the sensor he was open and honest with me and explained the reasons why the couldn't get access to it to get it out. Instead Mike offered to fix the existing cable leading to the sensor by remaking the broken cable joint and replacing the solar insulation (which I had some spare) that surrounded the cable and solar pipework. Both problems are now fixed and I'm really delighted with the work he has done. Mike was at my house for about 1 1/2 hours and only charged me £60. He was very approachable and I'd definitely call on him again and recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Many thanks Mike for excellent work done.

Mike provides excellent service - whether his speed of responding to an initial inquiry, his commitment to the time and date of the appointment to conduct the work, the quality of work performed, his quiet "get on with it" approach, or the quality of workmanship - all are excellent and I would have no hesitation in employing him again if and when circumstances require.

We have used Mike on a few occasions and every time he has been professional, efficient, and thoroughly personable. On each occasion he has arrived to check a fault, and on each occasion he has found that fault and rectified it whilst there. His knowledge is first class, and yet never makes you feel silly when you try to offer information. Most recently he fitted us in between calls and had the problem sorted within half an hour. His prices are very reasonable and overall he is excellent, and I would recommend him to anyone.
