Computer repairs, Viruses, spyware, networking, broadband, laptops. We are here to help with any IT related problem you may have, we aim to provide the best quality service where nothing is too much trouble. We are here to help no matter how small or big the problem is.

We cover the whole of Trafford, Cheshire and further. We come to your home or office to save you the hassle of disconnecting and bringing your computer into a shop. We also provide remote login assistance which allows us to fix most problems very quickly.

After reaching out for (home) PC support over many years, Mel’s Computer Care remains my first and only ‘go to’ for help whenever I feel out of my depth with some aspect of (ever-changing) I.T. technology. Whether my enquiries have necessitated on-site support or remote log-in, Mel’s support in the past has ranged from whole PC upgrades and replacements of failing hard disc drives, to assistance with syncing my PC with my mobile phone & iPad - even to the extent of guiding me through occasional difficulties with setting up sundry software applications. In short, no matter what my problem, I have always received 100% attention and completely satisfactory resolution from Mel and his team. All this with an empathetic (figurative) arm around my shoulder!

From the beginning, the service and advice were excellent. Mel sent a timely message; Alana was helpful with location (and car parking!). Alan was bang on time and was overwhelming with his speed, knowledge and advice. And the rates are well worth it and an exceptional great value! THANK YOU. I shall deffo call again if needed. New life to slow laptop

First impressions count. Greated with a friendly welcome. Explained the issue with my laptop. Over a nearly 30 min period I explained the issues, and the engineer told me about what were the possible issues. I left it over night. They said the would ring me the following day if they have found the issue (s). They rang me the following day and explained the issue. I asked if they could increase the RAM at the same time. I was given a quote over the phone ( at no time was I persuaded to buy this or that ). I found the price to be very competitive. I said go ahead with it. Two days later it was ready for collection. When I collected it they explained what the had done. I am over the moon with it. It's like a new laptop. Through the whole process they have been really friendly and helpful. They did explain about after care package's that they do ( no persuading me too buy ). Thank you all.

Brilliant Service
I first had problems on 29/05/25, which was caused by my internet supplier. They were doing work in my area and my internet went off completely. Eventually it came back on in the house but I could not get my laptop working. I phoned Mel and he spoke to me over the phone telling me what to do and he got me up and running. I booked an appointment to have a total clean up on my laptop and he said no problem just pop along and we can do it for you. M JONES

I have been using Mel's Computer Care for a number of years and that says a lot. They are a reliable, friendly bunch of computer nerds who do go that extra mile to sort out issues, provide new hardware, install software : in other words they do the lot. I've found their prices quite reasonable and when all is said and done a firm that does the job with the minimum of fuss and at low cost, well you can understand why I have been using them for years.

Having used Mel's for a number of years for anything related to computers, I have always been very satisfied with the service provided. Although the staff are. clearly, 'geeks', you wouldn't know it because they explain things in layman terms so that the problem and solution are easily understood.

After a very worrying time trying to deal with longstanding technological confusion, I’ve been absolutely delighted with your help, especially regarding domain names. Tywi not only did the job in the time and at the cost agreed, but was endlessly patient, friendly and reassuring. Instead of feeling stupid, I now feel more competent to try and work things out , understand what it’s reasonable for me not to know, and comfortable to ask for help if I need a quick answer to a quick question. Consequently, technology can take its place as something useful rather than a monster lurking in every corner of my life.
