Had a new Combi Boiler installed 17/8. Alan and Mike were brilliant, completed the job in good time, very helpful and professional. Set up our new Hive thermostat, new radiator and new radiator valves installed. Everything left clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

I’ve used Metgas for several years now for service and repair of our old boiler. Mike and Alan are top lads. Always come out to carry out work very quickly. Recently fitted our new boiler which were very pleased with. There obviously excellent tradesmen. Professional and friendly. Get the work done without any messing about. I highly recommend them and we will continue to work with them for years to come.

We had a new combo boiler fitted in a new location by Mike and Alan. They did a fantastic job, working around some tricky obstacles in an old house and being incredibly helpful and transparent. They left the space really clean and tidy and the boiler has worked perfectly since. We highly recommend.

If you are looking for reliable gas engineers, look no further than Met Gas. I’ve been using them for quite a while and they never let me down. They just installed a boiler for me—no issues, clean work, and great communication. Mike is a star and even helped fix a stop tap issue for me. It’s rare to find tradesmen who do the job this properly. 5 stars!

Our boiler was old and when it started leaking we decided to replace and not repair. Bank holiday weekend but got an online quote and the price, subject to survey, seemed very reasonable. Contacted Met Gas Wednesday lunchtime, onsite survey completed by Mike that afternoon. Quote price confirmed and accepted. A big plus - Mike then offerred to re-arrange their work schedule to give a next day service and that Allan would arrive at 08:00am Thursday to do the work. End result - Excellent service provided by Met Gas - Old boiler out, new one in and working, done in one day. I have to add Allan did a great job fitting the new one I was especially impressed with ... How neat the pipe work is. How clean and tidy everthing was left.

Happy to recommend MET Gas they have serviced our boiler for years and recently recommended we replace it as it was old and not economical to repair. MET gas always arrive on time and call when they are on their way. The boiler was fitted in a day and they left everywhere clean and tidy and explained how everything worked. Polite and friendly staff. Boiler cost as quoted and lots of options discussed when we were choosing which boiler was most suitable. Very pleased with our new boiler.

We had, for various reasons, a list of plumbing and heating jobs to do. I Googled 'best plumbers in Sheffield' and found MET GAS PLUMBERS. Mike came and inspected the existing system and we discussed the changes needed. He produced a quotation, which I accepted. After the first day, Andy, Alan or Ashley often came alone to do specific and responsible jobs. They were experienced and skilful and I found it interesting talking to them. Eveything is finished now, but MET GAS will be back annually to service the CH boiler and gas fire. And I have another project for 2026.........

We have used MET GAS for a number of years. They installed boilers at both of our properties which they service yearly and they also complete a gas safety certificate for one of our properties which is rented out. It is always a pleasure to speak with admin who recognise us as soon as we speak. All of the gas technicians are also fantastic people who are always friendly and relaxed. It’s a pleasure having them in our homes and they do a thorough, professional job.

Mike, Andrew and Ashley from MetGas in Sheffield have just installed a new high quality system central heating boiler, hive and other works at our home. We found the company on the Which Trusted Traders website and they responded personally within 24 hours to an initial enquiry. Our old boiler had failed, it had been disconnected and it was cold. The new boiler had been installed and ancillary work completed within days. We found MetGas to be very competent and professional providing good advice, they were timely, clean and tidy and invoiced us after the work had been completed to our satisfaction. Also they were somewhat more reasonable than an alternative Gas Board quotation for the same work. We would not hesitate to recommend MetGas.
