We had our new combi-boiler fitted in November last year. The work that was carried out was to a really high standard by a knowledgeable friendly engineer. We had our boiler serviced by the same lovely engineer this year. We continue to be impressed with the service our boiler is giving us. We have found it to be much more economical saving us money each month. Today we lost power to our boiler and hive which hasn’t happened before. So I called the office out of ours. Rob was amazing over the phone. He talked me through what could be the problem and quickly came to a resolution. We are so grateful for the time and care he gave us. We are going to take much more care when accidentally knocking switches off in the store cupboard. Thanks again to a great company.

I can't recommend Midland Central Heating highly enough. From the first contact in getting the quote to the job being finished the whole experience was superb. I was new to the area, Rob who come to give the quote was very pleasant, before he even started to quote we spent a long time talking about the local amenities and places to visit, what's good for children (as I have 3) from schools and parks to places visit for the family. During the quote, Rob made sure I understood everything he was talking about with what needed to be done and why, this ensured I wasn't getting into anything I didn't quite understand and all questions I had were answered with confidence. The job itself was completed very efficiently. Mike, Chris and Rob were brilliant and nothing was left undone. The pipework, new boiler, brickwork was all done with such care and looks great, there was literally nothing to clean up after them and I must say that I wouldn't even consider using anywhere else now. The whole team are such pleasant people and overall I received nothing short of exceptional service.

I just wanted help

I called to try to get help for my dad’s boiler. To be told that there was no one to help me. The receptionist was very helpful and did give me some suggestions. But as someone who has no experience in boilers, I am not in a position to know what I really need to do. I did point this out, I was told it probably needed to be looked at, which I absolutely agree with, however, there was no one who could come out - ever - by all accounts because there was no offer of an appointment at any time in the future (near or far) Just the nice reception lady telling me to try a new fuse. Which hasn’t worked so here I am back to square one Thanks

Leaking Stopcock Advice

We have used this firm to install a boiler and complete servicing. They're a friendly bunch and the work has been quality. When my stopcock pipework failed I attempted a repair and although the pipework was sound the tap itself was still leaking. I called Cath and explained the situation with the view to getting a professional in to do the job properly and replace the stopcock. Cath passed me on to Rob who was kind enough to explain what else I could try before paying for a call out. His advice was spot on and I have managed to complete the repair myself. Honest and truly helpful! Thank you so much!

Excellent service provided from start to finish for a new combi boiler installation. Our old boiler completely packed up, contacted Rob who came out promptly to advise and quote was received the same day. Happy with quote, installation date booked, they were extremely busy due to the severe weather conditions but managed to fit us in as soon as they possibly could. On day of installation Mike and Rob worked so hard. Had to deal with several issues out of their control (mainly due to the cowboys who fitted our previous boiler!!) but these were dealt with true professionalism and eventually we had hot water and heating again. So impressed with communication, punctuality, reliability, workmanship, friendliness and tidiness. Would highly recommend using this fantastic company. So glad we chose them, will not use anyone else now, make you feel completely at ease. Thank you Rob and Mike for everything.

Rob came to survey for fitting a new Worcester Bosch 400 and to quote, he arrived on time as arranged and also gave costings for shower fitments to replace the electric unit. I accepted the quote immediately and the fitting was arranged to be done within two weeks. Mike came at the time arranged and completed all work in two days, work was done to the highest standards in a clean and efficient manner. Rob replaced a combi boiler for my mum and was super helpful in dealing with us. At the time he followed up by checking everything was okay and the office called to arrange checks. Rob was brilliant with Mum - explaining and checking that everything was set up and how she needed it. He is a patient explainer. The price and service were great. With the recent extreme cold snap, we had a problem with the boiler shutting down due to a fault. Rob responded swiftly and remembered mum and also that she has hearing difficulty. He patiently talked her through emergency resets and when he spotted that it was a condensate pipe issue came out very quickly and resolved it. He made sure that he checked that mum had adequate other heat sources and did everything to reassure both her and myself. Could not recommend highly enough.

First contacted Midlands Central Heating in October to obtain a quote for a full central heating instalment which included removal of warm air unit and some associated ducting, to be replaced with new boiler and radiators. Rob who came to assess was both Professional and knowledgable and it was obvious he liked his work and customers .the work commenced on the agreed date and was completed on schedule,both Chris and Mike the technicians despite a few gliches not in their control worked hard and competently and completed the project in the time agreed.what makes this company stand out is the fact that you can actually talk to people from the girls in the office to Rob the owner .should you have any queries at all.Nothing is too much trouble.

Excellent customer service and advice

My Worcester Bosch boiler which was only 6 years old had developed a fault that most other suppliers had recommended changing to a new boiler at significant cost. Rob from Midland Central Heating went through the problems with the boiler on the phone and deduced that the boiler could possibly be fixed at significantly less cost than replacing with a new boiler.

We had a new Gas Combi Boiler fitted over 3 days on the 19th - 21st Apr. This was the date we agreed with Rob (Midland Central Heating Ltd). Chris the gas engineer came on the Monday and explained what was going to happen. He soon ripped out the old system and installed the new combi. The whole process was smooth and professional and Rob and Chris are a credit to the company. I would also like to thank Aimee in the office who gave us all the information we needed.

My central heating stopped working less than 10 days before Christmas. I called up Midland Central Heating (worried we weren't going to be warm again until some time in the new year) and after a few minutes, we found the problem - a faulty three-port valve. Rob not only gave me sound advice on my options but was somehow able to arrange a replacement for the same day! Mike did a great job of fitting the new equipment. He was polite, efficient and made sure everything was working as expected once he'd finished. He even balanced the radiators and changed the settings on my pump for me as I'd been struggling to get the downstairs radiators to heat up as much as the upstairs ones. I couldn't be happier with the service from these guys, they really go the extra mile.

Chris and the team completed a full boiler installation together with 2 new radiators. The service was excellent and the guys kept us informed of any issues as they went along. At all times all of the Midland Central Heating staff were timely, expert, efficient, polite and helpful. Initially I rang MCH during the afternoon. The telephone was answered quickly and by lunchtime the next day I had the written quote in my hand. The price was reasonable ie the going rate so I asked MCH to do the job. My job was completed on time and at the price agreed. Everything worked a treat straight away. No messing about here with great customer service all round. MCH are Worcester Bosch accredited so I have a ten year guarantee on my boiler and a fifteen year guarantee on my radiators. Excellent.

Had new boiler installed at much better price than quoted by British Gas. The quality of workmanship was high. Unfortunately a hidden problem was uncovered, leading in unforeseen delay in completing the installation. As a result we were couple of days with no heating (during a cold snap). The office were very good at keeping us informed about when the engineers would arrive, and they were punctual. The job was completed appropriately. Would be happy to use again and for other central heating issues.

Thank you for your feedback. Firstly the installation letter you received states that engineers will arrive between 8.30am - 9.30am. We telephoned at 9.00am to say that our supplier was running late, the supplier can verify this. Yet we still arrived around 9.30am. We kept you informed as much as possible. Your boiler was put in a similar position, but due to building regulations on condensing this was slightly altered. This situation was explained and you had no issues at the time. As for brickwork, maybe this was not done to builder’s standards. As gas engineers we’re not general builders, we can’t always get a perfect job. We left your home with everyone radiator hot. I spoke to you later and one was cold. This can happen with open vented systems as they can drag air in. We agreed you would follow my advice over the weekend and see how they were on Monday, which I believe they were hot. My guys said they were made welcome in your home, so thank you. Therefore, it is unusual to receive this type of feedback as my company has a great reputation with conscientious employees who value their jobs and our customers.

New Central Heating Boiler installation

Contacted Midland Central Heating Ltd during July via the Worcester Bosch website where they are listed as a recognised installer in the Cannock area with full accreditation. After leaving details the company rang the following day and arranged a visit and left us a quotation the same day. After consideration of options arranged to go ahead with the installation which was arranged for early August. Installation was carried out on 1st and 2nd of August by two company engineers who explained every item of work they were doing in terms understandable to a lay person, which was in itself was a good idea !! The installation involved a boiler site change also in the house, all done to an extremely high standard. Minimal disruption to gas and water supplies made, and a final site visit from the MD. All in all an expert and professional installation that would be difficult to fault, well done. One other point to bear in mind however is that fortunately both engineers were able to match our rate of tea consumption, so another good point !!

Absolutely fantastic service, they replaced my old boiler, they had to re site it because of new gas regulations and done a great job, cleaned up, removed old boiler and made good, turned up on time, even the director turned out to help on a 2 man job, while all their engineers were out on other appointments. Very impressed with the service and would recommend MCH to anyone. Even though they had to re quote me, they still come in at a very good price. They are now going to fit my rads. found this firm by accident, they are efficient and business like. I contacted 8 firms over 2 weeks and only 3 managed to provide a quote. Their quote was only 2 thirds of the others. During fitting found problem with gas supply 15mm should be 22mm fixed at no extra charge.
