I had bought an expensive Worcester boiler around 4-5 years ago not realising that I had to service it every year for the warranty to remain valid. It stopped working in February when the weather was very cold and I was dreading calling a plumber not knowing what the problem was or how much I would be charged. I contacted Worcester and spoke to one of their technicians, explaining the noises that I was hearing prior to the boiler stop working. I was somehow assured that the issue wasn?t serious and that it more than likely just needed a good service. My next problem was to find a trustworthy plumber to come and check the boiler and let me know how much it would cost me to get it fixed. The technician from Worcester directed me to a section of their website where I was assured that only the best technicians recommended by Worcester would advertise and I was also given a rough idea of how much the job should cost me. Feeling more confident and still desperate to get hold of someone to come and fix the boiler as soon as possible, I went through the list and chose ?MLW Plumbing and Heating? and spoke to Martin and explained the issue, assuming he would give me an appointment (if I was lucky) for the following week at the earliest as it Wednesday afternoon when I made the call. To my surprise Martin realising my dilemma with kids at home and no heating, he agreed to come and check the boiler in the same evening after his last job. Martin kept his word and came and thoroughly serviced the boiler with his wife calling him worried where he was. I thanked him for the fantastic job he did servicing our boiler, out of hours, marvelous attitude, good sense of humor, reasonable price, all round satisfaction and gratitude and saved his number on my phone for future jobs. I even had to chase him to send me his bank details so that I could pay him two days later! I would recommend him him to anyone who needs an honest gas technician, fantastic.
