James and his team produced a great result after putting in a lot of effort and work to get beyond problems encountered with the roof tiling that they discovered under the old ridges. The main aspects for me was the true desire to do the job right with attention to detail with clear and regular communication throughout. Reliability, honesty and integrity were at the forefront and time keeping was great. The agreed price remained the same irrespective of the difficulties experienced with the job. It’s great to find such professionals. Many thanks to James and his team who were also great guys.

James and the team undertook work on our roof, fascia’s and guttering. They were professional, diligent and James was first class at keeping us updated on progress on a daily basis. It was a big job, but the team were always cheerful and hard working, despite the vagaries of the weather at times! James was constantly checking on the quality of the work to ensure it met his high expectations. At the end of each day the area was cleaned and swept to an amazing standard! I cannot recommend this company high enough. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I came across James when I needed a report of what my gutter problem was, as I was getting conflicting reports from different roofers and a poor job from the last one who replaced my gutter. James wrote a comprehensive report with photos explaining the problem, and despite the neighbours lack of cooperation found a solution for my house gutter and replaced a few dislodged tiles in the process. I found James very friendly and helpful and ready to go the extra mile. I strongly recommend him without hesitation.

I want to say that I am extremely pleased with the work James and his team have done on my roof. From the first time I met James to request a quote, I have found him very helpful, answered all my questions and was always very approachable and friendly. His workmanship and that of his team was outstanding. They were always hardworking, polite, arrived early every morning to start work and always cleaned up before they went home at the end of the day. I contacted Moston Roofing Ltd by phone in February to get a quote for roofing work that was required at my property and was told that someone would get back to me to organise a site visit and a quote. Having heard nothing more than a week later I contacted them again and later that day I received a call to arrange a site visit which took place a few days later. A very pleasant chap called James came and we discussed the work required in addition to some optional maintenance work and he said he would let me have a quote in due course. The following day I received the quote, but it included a total for the work I had originally requested and the additional maintenance work. I contacted James by email to request a breakdown of the quote as I was not sure I wanted all the work done at the same time. A week or so later as I had not received a response I emailed again and sent text messages direct to James. It is now some 4 weeks later, and I still have not received a response. Not what I would call good customer service.

James and William did a terrific job on our house. Guttering replaced, new Tudor front board fitted, fascia on four gable ends. We were kept informed throughout the process and they completed the work within the agreed timeframe. Thoroughly recommend.

James was punctual (always a great thing to witness in a skilled tradesman), informative and provided a detailed quote that he delivered against. He gave us options to choose from; advising on the pros & cons of each option and was meticulous in carrying out the job. It was great to see someone taking pride in his work and we are really happy with the end result - money well spent. Highly recommended.

A leak in the dining room, in the middle of redecorating the room, required a quick and confident response from a roofer. After having contacted James by phone, he arrived the following day and spent quite some time with us to explain the problem in some detail and advised us on the work that was needed. Within a couple of days he sent us a detailed and fully itemized quote. As agreed the work commenced on 6th June. The entire team was most courteous, very hardworking, and professional. James kept us informed about how the work was progressing at every stage and fully took account of our requests. Minor additional work that was required was all incorporated into the job, which finished bang on time and on budget. The result was a splendid new roof, great-looking new cladding and guttering, all finished off with care and precision. Even the post-job cleanup was done really well. James has a real passion for his job and pride in what he does; that makes all the difference. We are delighted with the final result and would unreservedly highly recommend him and his team.

From start to finish the customer service has been excellent. James turned up at the agreed time to provide a quote and advising on options for flat roof replacement-quote provided and next steps agreed, great communication keeping us updated on start date. James and team turned up as agreed to complete a very professional job, the team were experienced and went the extra mile on a complex extension roof. James carried out a drone survey of a house we're in the process of buying. He was brilliant from start to finish. We needed it done in a hurry and he underpromised and over delivered on timelines, and was informative and approachable through the whole process. I can't recommend him highly enough.

James was superb from start to finish. For starters, he actually turned up on the day and the time he said he would, which seems a rare skill these days! He gave us a price (which seemed very fair for the work involved) within a day or two of looking at the job and within 2 weeks the job is done, looking better than we could have imagined, putting 'verge capping' on all gable ends (for the untrained like me: PVC liner to eliminate constant battle of repairing and painting cracking concrete at gable end under the slates!) Fantastic job, clean worker, stayed until job completed. When doing this work, spotted some other minor repairs, which he just sorted, no added cost onto the bill What a star!

We had a serious problem with our guttering installed by another contractor badly about 2 years ago. When we contacted James to discuss this we received extremely professional service and it was clear even during our first conversation that this was a guy we could rely upon. Having given him instructions to replace our guttering he did so promptly keeping us informed throughout the whole process. A very tidy workman. Extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. If we ever have roofing problems again he will be our first port of call. Very highly recommended.

Moston Roofing have recently completed the installation of dry verge cappings on all the gables of my property. James was extremely professional and carried out the work to a high standard, fully consulting me throughout the process. My wife and I are very pleased with the result.

It is so pleasing to work with a First Class tradesman who carries out the work to the agreed standard. A written agreement of the work to be carried out ensures full compliance throughout. The main work consisted of tiles, felt and battens replacement, insulation upgraded and a new dry verge fitted. Each morning began punctually and the workspace was left clean, tidy and secure at the end of every day. At any point every question was answered fully. The scaffolding was removed the day after the work was completed and I had my house back.

Existing soffits and fascias capped with UPVC, and new guttering. Speedy response to our need to get the work done within the month. Advice when quoting gave us good peace of mind and great value too. Work was carried out efficiently and we were kept informed and involved at all times, keeping to estimated schedule and budget. Property left clean and looking transformed with highly pleased customers.

Arranged to meet James for a initial quote he gave me all the options available and we agreed on which option was best. He kept me informed as to when he would be able to do the work.
