Move On Removals and Storage ltd

My partner and I used Move On Removals twice last year, I sold my property which included putting my stuff in storage, and then we purchased a property together. From the very beginning we were extremely impressed with Move On Removals. Communication was great from the start. We used the full packing service and they come to your house to give you a quote which we found very helpful. The whole process very transparent. On the day of both moves we found the removal people to be very efficient, friendly and hard working throughout. Everyone was great but Lee was especially helpful and made everything run smoothly. Hopefully we will not be but we would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I would have no problem recommending Move On. They were the most professional, responsive and friendliest Company I have dealt with. Our installers were brilliant when assembling the Wardrobe, even taking the item back to Ikea for us when it would not fit before returning the following day to complete the assembly. Very happy with their service and would definitely use again. I even found out from one of the installers that they did not usually install items on their own as part of their service so they had in fact gone out of their way to provide this service to us!

The team that moved us from Bristol to Devon were excellent. On time, worked flat out and took great care with our possessions; nothing was too much trouble. The company provided the cheapest quote with no hidden extras, and came up with the most sensible strategy to handle our move. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Callum and Jason were fantastic and we could not fault them. They checked with us every step of the way where things need to be placed, anything that was valuable/fragile was handled with the upmost care. We were very impressed that just two men could move all our stuff and do it in a reasonable time, loading into the van and out at the new property. They treated the house's with respect and made sure the floors where protected and the furniture that needed it. 10/10 top job. Hopefully we will not be moving a few years now but we would highly recommend Move on, as Callum and Jason took the stress out for moving and all communication from quote to moving has been fantastic.

The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. Rich came for a walk of the house and talked us through how they would safely pack everything away. Asked us which furniture would need to be taken apart and reassembled. Even took model number of the large fridge so they could look up how the doors came off ahead of moving day. They split the move across 2 days which ended up being a really smart move as we had 4 vans of stuff. On the first day Callum did a walk around with us and asked what we'd like to keep overnight and marked it all. Then spent the day loading up majority of the boxes/furnishings. Day 2 they had the rest of the house packed up and ready to go by 11am which included taking apart 2 bed frames, a sofa and the doors off a fridge. We received keys for the new house at around 1:30 and everything was unloaded and furniture assembled by 6pm. The hard work by all the movers(Callum, Troy, Lee and 2 others who's names escape me) made the day go by without any stress. Would be happy to use them again or recommend to friends.

We were recommended Move On by a friend. James came to our house and was very informative and helped us a lot . He suggested how to pack china and gave us tips. Richard came along and helped on the day and checked all was well, we were very impressed. On the day 5 strong men arrived and they worked so well and told us not to worry about a thing. They were business like , friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Nothing was damaged or broken and it all went very well. We have recommended them to others since as they are very good.

We were very impressed with Move on, they were recommended to us by a friend. The day went very smoothly we had 6 men helping and it went like clockwork. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very friendly and strong. They took the stress of the day from us and made it easy. They arrived early and told us to not worry about a thing. James explained everything about the day and gave us confidence and helped us with tips on Packing china. He was very professional and organised the team into groups.

MoveOn Removals were absolutely brilliant. From the moment I contacted them through to moving day. Richard came to survey the property and recommended a day to pack and a day to move which was completely the right call. The guys on the job (led by Callum) were polite, respectful and such hard workers - it was two long days for them but my goodness they were grafters. Both our old property and new were treated with respect, as was our 'stuff'. Our beds were dismantled and put back up again and the guys made sure every box and every item of furniture was in the right room before they left. Unbelievably great company and highly recommend them.

Absolutely amazing company, we can't recommend them enough and wouldn't use anyone else! James, Rich, Troy, Callum and Max made the moving experience as smooth and professional as it possibly could have been, working incredibly hard through the hottest day of the year. All our belongings and furniture were protected with great care and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us really helpful tips for unpacking too. The team were super friendly and made us feel really at ease, taking the stress out of the moving day experience! They were even fantastic with our dog when he tried to help! Thank you all so much!

Move On Removals were fantastic and we have no hesitation in recommending them. Right from the outset they really wanted to know what was important to us regarding our move. They were completely unflappable when we had to keep reviewing availability dates, and they were so accommodating. On the days of the move itself, the whole team could not have been more professional but also always friendly and understanding. Everything that needed specific handling was protected and walkways/stairs etc were covered, with result that nothing was damaged in any way. It must be about as good as a house removal gets. Seb and James were moving our neighbours and this included moving some of their furniture into our house. They were very professional and friendly. The atmosphere was one of calm professionalism.

Moving house is a worrying adventure, especially when you are older and have collected so much stuff in your life. MoveOn seemed to intuitively understand this and Jo in the office was always helpful and Callum and then Lee and Troy who actually did the heavy lifting were very professional, laid down temporary carpet/walkways to ensure that the place and the boxes didn't suffer from the rain. Yes the only day it rained in the whole month was the day I moved. They delivered to two addresses which included daughter's stuff to my ex-wife and then to mine. Good job and thank you.

I have used move on removals in the past, and could not see any reason why I shouldn’t use them again. Fast Efficient and friendly service, with an eye for detail on packaging the products, and my precious heirlooms on their truck. Richard and his team work well together.

Very pleased that we chose Move On, they were excellent from the get go. Throughout the process they were incredibly courteous and professional, as well as very patient with changes to dates. On the day the team arrived on time, everyone took off their work boots (loved this) before introductions and walk through of the house with me. The house was covered in protective wrap and fabric barriers ensuring no scuffs or bumps. Apart from the house we had a lot of plants and trees to move, everything arrived intact. At the other end, the house was once again covered in protective wrap before everything being put in place. During the move the cable to the fridge freezer was damaged. They immediately put a fix in place before sending through the manufacturer details. Once the repair is complete, Move on will reimburse me. I’m very impressed by the honesty and level of service.

Jo and Rich were very considerate and helpful during the planning of our move, very accommodating and understanding as our property chain potential completion date repeatedly changed. During the 2-day remove the team led by James were very good. On packing day James, Lee and Rich did a great job, loading into 3 vans. On moving in day, James, Troy, Jonno and Stumps successfully unloaded into our new property.

We used Move on Removals for our house move in January and the service was absolutely fantastic the first contact to the move itself. The team on the day – Joe, Marc and Lee were amazing. Polite, hard working and respectful of our home. They worked sooooo hard and with very little break.
