The Movers team packed our belongings swiftly and with care. We had to change our plans so our furniture was in storage for 3 weeks before moving to our new address. On the day we moved in, there was snow on the ground and access to the property was tricky. The Movers team were brilliant, negoatiating steps and narrow door ways with a piano and other bulky items. A week after our move, we realised a set of ladders were missing. Movers staff located them in their storage depot and delivered them to us the next day. Service and responsiveness of Movers staff on the phone was excellent. Some of their paper work could be better. They use standard BAR (trade association) terms and conditions. There were 2 sets of these and they were inconsistent in parts, especially around liability. They are also printed with very small font size and definitely wouldn't win a plain English award.

Movers Transport carried out a complex and high volume move over 5 days when my elderly parents downsized recently. They made what could have been a very fraught process relatively stress free. The men were extremely cheerful, helpful, professional, hard working, polite and flexible. They were a pleasure to have on our side at such a difficult time and I have absolutely no hesitation in strongly recommending this company.

Movers Transport was absolutely amazing. Our move got pulled forward by a month and just before Christmas. Movers was so adaptable, using intermediate storage to help simplify moving day and showed so much care with our move. Really flexible, really warm and kind in all of their interactions. Their whole staff echoed those same fabulous values. If I had to move again, I would definitely use Movers Transport. When customer service seems to be a dieing art for many, Movers Transport prove that they are at the top of their game when it comes to looking after their customers!

We used Movers for my mother-in-law, just before Christmas, which was a busy time but nothing was too much trouble. The lads doing the moving were careful and efficient and the team of Craig and Emily handling the booking were fantastic. Great company and I would certainly recommend!

This is the second time we have used Movers Transport and would have no hesitation in using them again if we were ever to re-locate in the future. They supplied more than enough packing cases and paper to wrap our fragile items well in advance of our move. The four lads we had, Will, Asa, Ben, and Max could not have been more friendly, helpful, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and the care they took lifting our bigger furniture down quite a tight stairwell was commendable. They dismantled our beds and re-built them at the new property. They plumbed in the washing machine and when we struggled getting the central heating and hot water, Ben came to the rescue and figured it out. I cannot praise Movers enough from the day they came to do the quote, to the assistance of the back office staff and finally the guys who carried out the move. Absolutely brilliant. Can’t thank the team enough for their hard work and support on the day of my very stressful house move. They worked together as a team, polite, calm, organised and made everything go to plan. They got us out of my previous home on time. Everything put in its place in my new home. They were even able to take down and rebuild a 5 door wardrobe perfectly. I can’t praise Mikey and Reece who moved us. They were excellent. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, they took the stress out of moving with a baby, teenager, husband and a cat! Would 100% recommend these lads!

Movers Transport had been recommended to us by someone who had used them in the previous six months. They were really professional and easy to contact and make arrangements with. If the said they would contact you, drop off boxes etc. they could be relied upon to do so, and on the day the team were friendly, efficient and hard working.

I had some household goods to ship to Spain from Stockport. From the moment I contacted Movers Transport they were precise in explaining the process and timeframe. To prepare the quotation they came out to both my house and a lock up store to enable them to include all the goods to be shipped. The quotation was easy to understand and Emily was most helpful in answering any queries I had and always answered the phone quickly and professionally. We agreed the schedule and costs which were very reasonable given the distance the goods had to travel. Two guys collected the goods from my house and the lock up. Care was taken moving the goods into the van and they were very quick loading and showed me how they strapped/secured goods down to avoid movement in transit. The communication was excellent and I was informed when goods would be shipped and the date and approximate time they would arrive in Spain. Very impressed they stuck to the schedule and informed my partner in Spain of the time frame they would deliver to his apartment. Two guys delivered the goods to the 1st floor apartment and both were courteous and professional. There was no breakages/damage to any of the goods. I would highly recommend Movers to transport your goods and I will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

The quotation process was quick and simple involving a visit to my house and provided with an online quote to accept/reject thereafter. Although initially I thought the price was high, I cannot fault the company for their caring and professional attitude, hard work and communication from start to finish. Emily was more than helpful in the office and thereafter the moving guys were polite and hardworking. I chose the packing service and all valuables were really well packaged with no breakages. On moving day the team were very patient with the delay in completing and worked until 6pm to get me moved in and everything in its place. At one point there were 7 of them working tirelessly. Following the move I would not question the price as it was well and truly worth every penny, taking away some of the stress of moving house. If you are considering another moving company, don't bother and go with Movers, you will not be disappointed.

I was very impressed with the service provided by Movers, from the initial visit by Nick to discuss the move to the removal day itself. Boxes and packing materials were delivered in advance, and I was reassured that they would personally deal with larger fragile items eg mirrors and pictures . Any calls I made were answered promptly by either Emily or another staff member. The team arrived promptly on removal day. Each one of them was polite, cheerful and reassuring. Nothing was too much trouble and fragile items were well protected, they even took my plants. On arrival at my new property my belongings were carefully unloaded and placed wherever I asked, even repositioned where necessary. I can’t praise the team at Movers Transport Ltd highly enough, I was so impressed at how they managed my move. Everything went like clockwork, boxes and packing materials were dropped off weeks ahead so I could get on with the packing, anything that was too big for a box was carefully wrapped and protected on the day. The team were professional, friendly and courteous, they arrived on time, took care with all my light fittings, large plants etc. Everything was loaded up in good time and arrived and was unloaded at my new house. The team assembled the beds etc in no time and placed everything just where I wanted, they also took away the packing materials before leaving. A great job from a great team!

Like for so many, our house sale and purchase was stressful. I can’t tell you how comforting it was to be in the capable hands of Movers Transport ltd-especially at the end of a long sales process. To be treated with respect and kindness by all the staff was really appreciated. Emily and Nick were always available to take a call and even offered a plan b at the very last moment as we weren’t sure whether we would be able to complete the day we were meant to. The removal team was so patient, friendly and courteous and my in-laws who were with me on the day were particularly impressed with the team-having had experience of moving house a few more times than we have! I can not stress how wonderful Movers were! From the initial phone call, to the quote, to the moving day, their service was impeccable and they made the whole experience really relaxed - nothing was too much trouble. The removal team were approachable, friendly, and paid attention to tiny details such as remembering the name of our little girl. Honestly, if you have a couple of companies that you're looking into booking for your home move, you won't be at all disappointed by choosing Movers. I will be recommending them to everyone.

From the first phone call, Movers Transport were efficient and made it all look easy. I dealt mainly with Emily and Nick and both were brilliant, despite our completion date being moved at least three times! Their team packed my belongings (a lot of stuff) and transported it to Wales for me. All the team were polite and did their job quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend them if you want a move without stress.

In summary: strong recommendation. The team was amazing, dealing with little hiccups in the move along the way. They made what could have been a really stressful day much easier. Detail: First, they allowed us a lot of flexibility on dates, which it turns out we needed. We also got quotes from 3 other firms, all of which were significantly higher (in one case 3x higher) than these guys. Going with Movers was the best choice by far. The day before, Craig (little Craig I'm told, a true legend) came to do a full pack service for our 2 bed house for us. He was the one who made sure we were properly packed, and did it all perfectly, taking care with everything. On the day, the bigger team turned out in force to make it all happen. They were all friendly, polite, and careful/professional with our things. We had some issues with the sellers handing over the keys and getting their stuff out - but Andy and the guys dealt with the situation for us, and in fact ended up doing a lot of their move out, as well as our move in! They dismantled/rebuilt two beds and a baby cot, all such that we were smoothly in by the time we had to go get our son from nursery. There was a tiny issue with a couple of screws in a bed going missing, but amazingly Craig turned up with us the next day (Saturday) and went down B&Q buying replacement screws to ensure it was all back together properly. Overall, this was a great company to work with, and made our move simple.
