Tom, Zane, and team provide a fantastic, efficient move service with the customer at its heart. From start to finish, communication has been excellent, and the moves themselves went smoothly and to plan. We have used them four times in the past nine months, and each move has been carried out in a very professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble, and their 'can-do' attitude and pleasant nature were much appreciated at a stressful time. 100% recommended.

Tom and his team were just absolutely fantastic and made it such a wonderful experience. Moving house can be stressful and my move was particularly tricky as it was from the 14th floor down 16 floors into lower basement across the car park into a loading bay. I invested in four members of staff for my move and Tom and his team were absolutely amazing, everything went smoothly. There was plenty of people to hand to make sure that happened and it was well worth the investment for me. Zane was outstanding in her pre-and post move communications a pleasure to work with if only all administration people were like this! I have only good comments, everything went smoothly. Things were dismantled and reassembled beautifully, special mention to the care and attention of Peter. Nothing was broken, which is to be expected when moving some fragile items. It was truly fantastic 100% recommend.

Moving Mountains moved me from London to Salisbury November 2024. From start to finish - first enquiry, quote, multiple changes of date (the nightmare of seliing/buying/solicitors) - the one thing I did not have to worry about was the moving company. Zane, who handled all the admin, quote, booking etc was great. Prompt communication via email or WhatsApp. She requested a video of the flat and its contents via WhatsApp in order to provide a quote and then patiently provided me with multiple move and standby dates whilst completing the final legals on the sale. On the day, Tom, Ganesh and Piotr turned up promptly and were exactly the friendly, fast, efficient professionals you want to handle your belongings. Polite and happy despite the staircases and heavy boxes I had. At the the other end we arrived mid-afternoon and only had an hour of daylight left. No electricity so no light, they moved me in in pitch black and the torches of mobile phones... whilst I battled with the electricity company. Right at the end Piotr helped me the pre-payment metre and found the prepayment key left by the last tenant .. hallelujah LIGHT and the boiler came on! Huge relief on a cold dark winter night. I found them through a recommendation from a friend who has moved with them twice. If I ever move again, it will be with Tom, Zane and the team at Moving Mountains. I highly recommend them, they made a stressful day much easier. Well worth the money.

The quote for the flat move across London was one of the cheapest I had. I was nervous about the terms and conditions but it seems most removal companies have them now: pay in advance with financial penalties for postponement/cancellation from 10 days before the move. As it was I was asked for 50% in advance and had to chase the final invoice. 3 guys were booked for my flat move because I was moving from one top-floor flat to another. They were good-natured, efficient, fast and still cracking jokes at the end of a tough, long day. They were the only cog in my whole flat-selling and buying experience that ran smoothly. In fact, they, and Zane who handled the booking, went above and beyond in many ways. I’m so grateful to them for making the final stage so easy. I’d already flagged they might have to wait for me as I was travelling by public transport between flats but I was also still packing when they arrived! This was a breach of contract so they had every right to refuse to go ahead or tell me off but they just got on with loading what was ready. I will be their loyal customer and the friend who helped me was so impressed he took their details as well. As you can see, I can’t recommend them highly enough! Thanks to Which and all the previous reviewers for making the choice of their firm so easy.

Moving mountains exceeded expectations. I was impressed at how much of my junk they managed to neatly put away into their (rather) large van. Speedily, with a smile and a sense of humour. I would use them again in a heart beat. If you need a mountain of stuff moved, there are no safer hands than a team used to moving mountains.

This removal was carried out firstly over three days (packing and removal), then one day for unpacking, and one further day for clearance of the furniture and goods left at the originating address. The entire job was performed comfortably within the agreed timescale and budget. At every stage of the process, from initial contact, survey and quotation to the final clearance and invoicing, the company's performance was excellent. Goods were packed and removed with great care, furniture was disassembled and reassembled, where necessary, carefully and accurately, nothing was damaged or lost. The staff were friendly and exceedingly helpful, responsive to our requests and willing to move furniture around in the new location when the initially planned configuration turned out to be less than optimal. All the packing boxes that we wished unpacked by the end of the final day were removed. The surveyor's plan turned out exactly right, and the speed with which fragile goods were packed by the team and safely delivered with no damage indicated a high level of all round expertise. As customers, we were very well satisfied.

From the minute I got in touch with Moving Mountains for a quote to the job finishing this Monday, the whole process was excellent and smooth. Zane was very prompt to response to emails and gave us a very reasonable quote. On the day Tom and Anthon were very conscientious, friendly and efficient in how they moved our furniture and contents from the loft to the floor below in various rooms for storage. I had used a few other removal companies before and I would be happy to say that they are so far the best one. I am already speaking to them for the next removal job in a few months' time.

This was superbly handled from start to finish, and really excellent value. The initial assessment was professionally done and a precise list of items collated. Changes to this were easily handled. On the day the guys arrived on time and handled our needs in a quick, straightforward and professional manner, being flexible and expert in the way we fitted everything in. When we offloaded they showed particular skill in negotiating tricky stairs, tight spaces etc. Overall they made the stressful task of moving much better for us.

Couldn't be happier with the service received. Inquired about moving a large sofa bed up an extremely narrow set of stairs and received a very fair quote and a call out the next working day. One trader had already failed to move this so I was close to giving up hope, but the guys from Moving Mountains solved the issue with some impressive problem solving skills on the spot. Made it look easy which is the sign of some quality professionals. Will definitely be returning to them in the future.

Tom and his team were absolutely excellent. I would unhesitatingly recommend them. They arrived the day before our move and packed our belongings with the minimum of fuss, and were professional and accommodating. The move itself was also very smooth. They arrived exactly as arranged, and moved everything calmly and smoothly, and could not have been more helpful. Pricing was clear and Zane in the office was very helpful. The team were absolutely lovely when I (very annoyingly) asked them to move a chest of drawers into a difficult spot downstairs, and then changed my mind and asked them to take it away again - they were nothing but helpful. The concierge at the building where we were moving from (who has overseen many, many moves from and into the building) commented that they were the most polite removal team he had ever come across. I had to move out of my flat on the second floor of the house to have some building work done, and used Moving Mountains to remove and store the contents. In the end, the building work lasted five months (it should have been two). The team at Moving Mountains was fantastic from start to finish. Zane in the office was responsive, helpful and reassuring - always swift to respond and providing clear answers when I needed them. The original quote was based on a video I took of the flat and was very reasonable. I had to keep extending the storage and it was also very reasonable to do so. In terms of the moves out and then back, Tom, Anton, Ganesh and Jacob were just fabulous - they packed everything up and moved the lot, and then brought it all back again. And it really was everything - television, big furniture, kitchen stuff etc. And nothing was damaged - it had all been packed and handled with the greatest of care. I hope I don’t have to move again but I will be recommending Moving Mountains to anyone else who does.

As others have written, the service was brilliant from start to finish. The first moment I met Tom I understood that he was serious in understanding my needs. I am a 76 year old widow downsizing house after 36 happy years and needed a lot of guidance and help which was provided at each step by the incredibly patient, efficient and caring Zane at the other end of the phone. The quote I received after having contacted several other moving companies was the most reasonable and transparent. Everything was itemised and explained simply and rationally. No loop holes for extras to be added on at the last minute. The rest of the team who packed one day before the moving day and then managed to store everything into a double garage space as if by magic, were awe inspiring. Friendly, hard working and always re-assuring. I'd give this company 7 stars if you had that category!

I was relocating from Kingston-upon-Thames to Scotland. This involved not only removals but also storage of my possessions until I found my new home. From start to finish my contact with Moving Mountains took place over the course of 7 months. From my first enquiry, to providing quotes, organising the removal of unwanted items, storage and removals the service was excellent. The quote was clear and comprehensive and any queries were replied to promptly - great customer service. On moving days everything went very smoothly and potentially stressful experiences were avoided. I am very grateful to Tom and the team for providing such a professional, efficient and friendly service.

From the first visit to the completion of the job, this house moving company was thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. We approached 3 companies and Moving Mountains were our preferred option from the outset as they really seemed to know what they were doing and took time to ascertain what we needed. The admin person at their office was very helpful both on the phone and email while we had some toing and froing about dates, and then with keeping us informed or answering queries leading up to the move date. Packing team did a really thorough job; items which we were not taking to the new place were cleared efficiently the day before the move; and the move day itself went very smoothly. The office contacted us shortly afterwards to check that everything had gone OK before submitting an invoice for the balance. The whole operation was everything we needed in a house moving service, which can be a pretty stressful time and you really appreciate suppliers you can rely on. Highly recommended.

We were lucky we managed to book Moving Mountains at short notice. Tom and his team did a great job, they were very efficient, polite, and careful with our possessions. All very friendly guys. Everything was done in time within a tight schedule and they were able to accommodate all our requirements. Tom clearly runs this outfit very well. My involvement with Moving Mountains has been over the course of a year - from the day that Tom came around to assess moving, through to storing my belongings for 11 months, and finally moving them into my new home. It was brilliant to have Tom as the central link in every stage of the move itself - he was present every day of both moves, packing efficiently, instructing his team, calmly supportive, and going above and beyond what was expected. And Zane as the administrative contact throughout the year has been invaluable, keeping in regular contact and giving clarity on the whole process from start to finish, including clear financial breakdowns. I have been so impressed with the removal teams' efficiency, calmness, energy, unity and miracle-working in terms of finding a way to get a large piano out of an awkward room layout, and getting furniture into very tight spaces! I am also impressed with the company's support for the Tearfund charity, their thoughtful website 'We stand with Ukraine' logo, and their aim to reuse and recycle packaging as much as possible. Moving Mountains made everything run smoothly at a time of significant change in life, and I highly recommend their services.

After a bereavement, I had to move all my belongings from London to Scotland. The prospect was stressful, not having moved house in nearly 20 years. I chose Moving Mountains because of their glowing reviews on Which? but even so wondered whether a removal company really could be that good. On the basis of my experience, they certainly are. From the initial contact to the aftercare, I have rarely experienced such superb customer service from any company, let alone a removal company. In setting up the move, there was no rush or hassle, and when I constantly changed my mind about the volume of stuff I needed moved, there was complete understanding, and the quote was duly adjusted. On packing day, Tom and his team took care of everything. No detail too small. Always polite and helpful and smiling with a can-do attitude. They asked questions I never thought of, to make sure everything was perfect. Everything wrapped and boxed, boxes clearly labelled. The following working day they loaded two vans, again, taking great care with items big and small. And today they delivered all my things, checking where I wanted everything, building a bed and tables... checking constantly that things were they way I needed. Tom and his team were not only superb at the physical business of packing, moving and unpacking...but their friendly attitude also made a huge difference. Even when I kept changing my mind about where things should go, they did not flinch. Worth every penny. Brilliant company.
