From our first contact with Mullins through to the completion of the NOT very straightforward job that included dismantling and taking out a very heavy old AGA type boiler/stove we could not have been more pleased. The men always turned up very promptly each day over the five day job, were always very pleasant, cracked on with their work and cleaned up thoroughly as they went along and at the end of the day. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Mullins came to the rescue when our old boiler needed replacing in an emergency during a very cold period and during the Covid lockdown. I contacted Mullins and the friendly receptionist sent someone round promptly to give me a quote for a new one and it was fitted 3 days later. On the day of the installation, the two man team turned up promptly first thing, they were friendly and approachable and worked very efficiently until the completion of the work late afternoon. They put floor protection down around their work area and were happy to de-shoe to go upstairs and tend to the radiators. Inevitably there is always some cleaning up to do after such a big job but it didn't take too long as they had protected areas well and hoovered up the worst before they left. It is a relief that they provide aftercare service so I will definitely continue to use Mullins for the boiler's annual service and indeed for any other related jobs. The boiler has been working wonderfully since its fitting two weeks ago; it is easy to use, much quieter and more powerful than our old one so has significantly improved the hot water pressure. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Mullins to others.

Sunday morning disaster

We and our extended family have used Mullins for many years, however, a couple of years ago we took out their maintenance plan and I have to say it is worth every penny. We woke Sunday morning to a flooded boiler cupboard, no hot water and we were very stressed. Phoned the out of hours number, engineer appeared within the hour and fixed the boiler really quickly. So pleased with the service, thoroughly recommend.

My 90 year old mother had her boiler/central heating system installed some time ago by Mullins and was very pleased with their work. She took out a service plan with them. On occasion, she has been confused by her thermostat settings and they have always been very kind and supportive to her, even attending when there wasn't really anything wrong. Yesterday, after a power cut, the pump failed. They came out immediately and fixed the problem without any charge for the replacement part. Mum feels very secure that Mullins are there if she needs help.

A request for a quote for a new boiler resulted in a survey within a week and then the installation the week after. The engineers were here at 8.30 in the morning and the work completed by mid afternoon. A slight hiccup a few days later resulted in the installing engineer coming back at 8.30am the same morning to sort us out! We have used this firm for our oil-fired boiler and heating system for several years. They are always attentive, friendly and reliable. Any crises are dealt with very rapidly and we feel we can trust them to look after us.

Mullins installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler after my original old boiler failed leaving me with no heating. They are a very professional organisation from the people in the office (polite, helpful, call when they say they are going to) to the contractors themselves who turn up on time, explain everything and address any problem arising. I had a follow-up issue which was also dealt with efficiently. Mullins juggled other commitments around to ensure my heating problem was solved ASAP. I would recommend them to others without hesitation.
