Mullins in the company which has serviced and maintained my boiler for many years. They have always been helpful and efficient and they were therefore my company of choice to install the new boiler to replace one which was over 20 years old and also a new hot water tank and immersion heater. Their three engineers were on time and always polite, friendly and above all knowledgeable and efficient. The work was carried out with skill and with the finest materials available for the job including beautiful copper pipe work. They always cleaned up impeccably after each days work and left my house with everything in perfect working order after the three days of work necessary. The work carried out was done on time and on budget for the quoted price. I am entirely happy and appreciative of the work done and the attitude of the men to what needed to be done. Mullins have been annually servicing my combi boiler for the last 20 years. On Wednesday the 7th of February the boiler stopped working (no power on cct board). The boiler was 14 years old, it was installed by Mullins all those years ago. During last years annual service I had discussed with Graham changing the boiler in a year or two, why, because we had recently completed an extension and fitted a range cooker as well as a pending retirement, I didn't want the worry of a boiler replacements when I was not in employment. As it happened I called Bev on Friday 2nd of February and booked in a visit to discuss a new boiler replacement (a larger type and new wider diameter gas supply pipe). Would you believe it, the following Wednesday the boiler gave up, day's before the arranged visit, but Graham arrived within an hour and on Friday the same week the new pipework and boiler was in and running. Simon was the lead gas engineer on the job, with him were Christian and Neal. Top guy's, very professional, explained the process, listened to the customer and gave a brief on the new boiler operation before leaving the same day and left everything clean and tidy behind them. The workmanship was excellent and as previous reviewers have said, carpet covers and respect for the owners home seems a minimum standard applied (thank you guy's). Would recommend Mullins to friends, family and anyone else who were looking for a safe gas heating supplier with engineers who would treat you right.

I knew from previous work they would do an excellent job and they did. Very professional, friendly and very respectful of my property. Extremely tidy and painstaking with minimal touching up needed where the new boiler didn’t fit the space left by the old one. I have absolute faith that they would rectify anything if it should go wrong in the future and would do it with skill and professionalism. They don’t do a cheap job but it is totally worth it for the peace of mind and confidence in the 15 year guarantee. I also very much like that it’s easy to speak to them - Bev in the office is professional and efficient but also very human. So lovely not to have to speak to a machine.

Our old back boiler was replaced with a combi-boiler in two and a half days. The engineers started working in under a week from giving us a quote. All carpets were covered to ensure no mess was left. They cleared up every night so our life was as easy as possible. The engineers kept us informed of what they were doing and were very willing to answer questions. They were co-operative and adjusted to our program and requests. The engineer gave us clear instructions on how to use the boiler.

Installed new boiler, pump, valves and radiator thermostats. Rewired NEST thermostat. Prompt. Carried out a very thorough job. System working well - winter will give it a real test. Very pleasant team. Left us clean and tidy. More expensive than expected and having to pay total cost, rather than a significant deposit, before the job started was unusual.

Having drawn up a specification for my work, which included a boiler upgrade and other jobs on my central heating system, Andrew Mullins visited to discuss my requirements. His visit was extremely useful as he clarified my thoughts on boiler sizing; noted and made suggestions for the additional work on my heating system. Mullins came to replace our gas boiler which they installed 15 years ago. They arrived on time and completed the work on time. The team were very polite and explained what they had to do. The team were very cleanliness conscious and protected all of our carpets as they worked. All rubbish was removed and taken away by the team. On completion of the work a member of the team explained the operational details of the new boiler and informed us of their support services during working hours and also after hours and weekends. Faultless.

My elderly parent's boiler had stopped working and Simon came out 2 hours after I logged the problem. Unfortunately a new boiler was required and it was supplied and fitted the following day. Budget agreed to adhered to. Simon and his colleagues were very friendly, polite and respectful. They did an excellent job, dust sheets wherever they were working and cleaned up afterwards. Within a week of calling Mullins for a quote for a new boiler, it was installed!. They were prompt and at all times very professional, courteous but also friendly. They were very mindful of the customers needs and took precautions to protect floorings with groundsheets and slip mats. I was very impressed how all tools ad equipment were laid out in readiness for the work ahead. A small thing I know but it showed their professionalism and attitude to the work in hand. Very efficient service from the time the estimate was given, arranging a date and the installation being completed. Installation was trouble free. The engineers arrived punctually and the work was carried out without mess. All the old boiler parts were taken away. All the people I dealt with were friendly and very professional.

From initial contact, to quote, to completion of the job Mullins couldn’t have been more efficient, responsive, friendly and professional. The engineers on site were exceptionally hardworking and the quality of the plumbing was excellent. They listened carefully to our specific requirements and preferences in terms of the details of the installation and carried them out very satisfactorily. Boiler broke down, so rang Mullins (had used them previously). Mr. Mullins called next day, diagnosed the problem, boiler was 12 yrs old, so decided to go for a replacement. Two of his engineers came the next day and fitted the new boiler. They were pleasant, efficient, and tidy, and had the boiler installed, and the system refilled and tested by mid afternoon. Mullins response to our breakdown could not have been quicker. We have always found them pleasant, informative, and efficient, and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I made contact with Mullins who came round to offer a quote. This was presented to me both verbally and through email. When I made the decision to use their services this was based on recommendations, viewing work they had carried out and feeling although more expensive they offered a more professional job. I called their office and booked the job to be done, both engineers arrived dead on 8am as advised, both very polite,professional and accommodating due to the fact I was working from home for a period of time they were at my house. I cannot fault their workmanship and attention to deal. Both left my house tidy and were even very considerate to my two dogs whilst carrying out the replacement boiler as they went back and forth between the house and their work vans. Instructions were left for the boiler and as promised my receipt of payment and guarantee has arrived in the post today. Thank you for a brilliant job done!

Simon, Neil and Christian fitted a new combi boiler for me and took out the old back boiler and fire from the living room and water tank and heating feed tank (from the loft). They worked hard for one and a half days. They were friendly, polite, reliable and did an excellent job. They showed respect both to myself and my property. I can tell that their work is of the highest quality and they know their stuff. I am well pleased with the installation. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Mullins highly enough. Initially the problem was a replacement radiator but when I asked them to check the water cylinder they discovered it was leaking. This necessitated changing the cylinder and some repiping. From the initial quote to the time the work was completed was five days. The quote was presented there and then and a full explanation to the work involved was provided. After payment they rescheduled their work to fit my work in. The engineers were both very knowledgeable and excellent clean, quiet workers. They put down dust sheets to cover all the flooring etc and worked diligently all day with only a couple of very short breaks. This was a two day job and on both days they arrived very promptly. When they left the system was up and running much better than it had ever worked before. All the staff I came across both in the office and in the field could not have been more professional.

Mullins fitted our previous boiler and had always serviced it, we had never had a problem with them so when we needed a new one they were the obvious choice! The fitters were lovely, worked so hard all day and always left everything clean and tidy (they were with us two and a bit days) Plus they took away the old boiler and other rubbish

Mullins have serviced our back boiler since it was fitted by them in 2000. In October it came to the end of its life, and we were quoted for a new Worcester Bosch Combi boiler. The work has been completed to a very high standard, with great attention to detail. All three engineers were very pleasant, careful and efficient, and demonstrated considerable skill. We are totally satisfied, both with the work and the boiler, and would willingly recommend Mullins .

The annual service agreement I have with Mullins showed that our fifteen year old boiler was in need of replacement due to the heat exchanger leaking. A competitive quote was provided with a fifteen year guarantee and a date arranged for installation. Excellent polite service with no problems or need to return. Highly recommended.

My original combi boiler was fitted by Mullins some sixteen years ago and was serviced by them every year, on the few occasions that there was a problem they always attended promptly and fixed the fault. As I felt it was time to update the boiler I contacted Bev at Mullins and the next morning Graham came to look at the job and gave me a quote which I accepted, within half an hour of Graham leaving Bev rang me to arrange a date the following week for the work to be done. On the due day the two engineers arrived on time, they were polite and friendly, all the carpets were covered before work started and everything done in a professional manner including a steep climb to get on the roof to replace the flue. I can say that the whole job from start to finish was first class and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I've had mullins service my old back boiler for many years. Today they finished fitting a new worcester bosch combi in my airing cupboard. Excellent work completed in two days by very pleasant chaps. Second boiler fitted by Mullins and we would not have had them again if their service over the years had not been so good, prompt and worth using again! Aftercare excellent as long as the boiler is serviced by them once a year, and with gas you would not do otherwise. Recommended highly.

Had a fault on my boiler , water was leaking through the ceiling (boiler was in the loft). Rang Mullins on Tuesday the 5th , they came the same day and unfortunately boiler was deemed to be life-expired, had a quote for replacement which was accepted, new boiler fitted the following Thursday. The two engineers completed the job in a day with not one bit of mess, all carpets were covered, could not have been more pleased with the service. Thanks

I have been a customer of Mullins Heating for over a decade. They have recently fitted a new gas boiler, having installed and subsequently serviced the previous boiler and a pressurised water cylinder every year after they were fitted. They have been consistently prompt in responding to any problems, and any faulty parts quickly replaced at no cost. The quality and tidiness of their work has been excellent, and their service has been consistently reliable over the years since I became their customer.

In 2006 Mullins fitted our first combi-boiler together with radiators throughout and, soon after, a gas fire and surround. We were very pleased with their work and friendly manner and have had an annual maintenance contract ever since. On the few occasions when there has been a problem one of the team has come out promptly to rectify the fault. Last month Mullins fitted a replacement boiler. Neil and Darren arrived at the agreed time and completed the work within two days. They took care to cover carpets and keep mess to a minimum and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. They had had to remove the slatted wooden shelves in the airing cupboard and we assumed that we would need to replace these ourselves. We were impressed to find that they had done this for us. Very impressed with the efficiency, neatness and high standard of work carried out fitting our new Worcester Bosch boiler. The work was done in the time frame given even though a cupboard had to be dismantled and then re assembled (better than before in fact with modifications to the back to allow better access to boiler parts in the future). The guys doing the installation were very polite and helpful. Bev In the office too is always very helpful and kept us well informed. We have had boilers from Mullins in the past and the aftercare and servicing has always been excellent. Many thanks.

The Trader arrived at 8 am on the morning of Thursday 21st October and commenced work by having firstly to remove the old boiler and then replacing it with a new one. The whole process was quite complicated with old pipework having to be rearranged including both water & gas pipes. The work was completed about lunch time and then radiators in the house had to be re balanced due to the initial drainage of water from the system. the trader completed the process with vacuuming the area and general cleaning leaving the whole area as it was on arrival. I was impressed with their standard of work and subsequent certificate showing Building regulation compliance

We had out boiler replaced on 6th September 2021. I was very impressed by the speed and efficiency that the work was completed and would definitely Mullins to other customers requiring this type of work.

Very pleased with the service from Mullins heating. Our aging combi boiler had never worked very well and we endured many cold winters. After an initial inspection, we were given a quote very quickly and the team, led by Simon, installed a Worcester Greenstar 2000 combi boiler the next week. They also replaced most of the thermostatic valves and fitted a new flue. We were warned there might be a few problems due to the rather low water pressure at our house, but in fact, all the radiators work beautifully. As well as vacuuming every radiator to prevent air bubbles, the team also returned the next morning to carry out a full system flush. They were all very friendly, polite, and efficient, and Simon even dealt with a leaky pipe for us under the kitchen sink, which wasn't even his responsibility but was much appreciated. Brilliant service!

We have been using Mullins for nearly 15 years and have always been very happy with their work and service. They installed 2 gas boilers 15 years ago and have always serviced them, but it was time for both to be updated. The 3 man team turned up on time each day and did a wonderful job. Clean, polite, friendly and efficient. Considering that all 3 were in and out of the house for 3 days, they left the house and garage clean and tidy. Our boilers are situated in the garage and it now looks like a ships engine room with so many pumps and valves. We have an old, large house with 24 radiators and the new, updated system works amazingly and looks fabulous. Such a neat job. We are all impressed. Thank you to all the staff at Mullins.

From our first contact with Mullins through to the completion of the NOT very straightforward job that included dismantling and taking out a very heavy old AGA type boiler/stove we could not have been more pleased. The men always turned up very promptly each day over the five day job, were always very pleasant, cracked on with their work and cleaned up thoroughly as they went along and at the end of the day. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Mullins came to the rescue when our old boiler needed replacing in an emergency during a very cold period and during the Covid lockdown. I contacted Mullins and the friendly receptionist sent someone round promptly to give me a quote for a new one and it was fitted 3 days later. On the day of the installation, the two man team turned up promptly first thing, they were friendly and approachable and worked very efficiently until the completion of the work late afternoon. They put floor protection down around their work area and were happy to de-shoe to go upstairs and tend to the radiators. Inevitably there is always some cleaning up to do after such a big job but it didn't take too long as they had protected areas well and hoovered up the worst before they left. It is a relief that they provide aftercare service so I will definitely continue to use Mullins for the boiler's annual service and indeed for any other related jobs. The boiler has been working wonderfully since its fitting two weeks ago; it is easy to use, much quieter and more powerful than our old one so has significantly improved the hot water pressure. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Mullins to others.

We and our extended family have used Mullins for many years, however, a couple of years ago we took out their maintenance plan and I have to say it is worth every penny. We woke Sunday morning to a flooded boiler cupboard, no hot water and we were very stressed. Phoned the out of hours number, engineer appeared within the hour and fixed the boiler really quickly. So pleased with the service, thoroughly recommend.

My 90 year old mother had her boiler/central heating system installed some time ago by Mullins and was very pleased with their work. She took out a service plan with them. On occasion, she has been confused by her thermostat settings and they have always been very kind and supportive to her, even attending when there wasn't really anything wrong. Yesterday, after a power cut, the pump failed. They came out immediately and fixed the problem without any charge for the replacement part. Mum feels very secure that Mullins are there if she needs help.

A request for a quote for a new boiler resulted in a survey within a week and then the installation the week after. The engineers were here at 8.30 in the morning and the work completed by mid afternoon. A slight hiccup a few days later resulted in the installing engineer coming back at 8.30am the same morning to sort us out! We have used this firm for our oil-fired boiler and heating system for several years. They are always attentive, friendly and reliable. Any crises are dealt with very rapidly and we feel we can trust them to look after us.

Mullins installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler after my original old boiler failed leaving me with no heating. They are a very professional organisation from the people in the office (polite, helpful, call when they say they are going to) to the contractors themselves who turn up on time, explain everything and address any problem arising. I had a follow-up issue which was also dealt with efficiently. Mullins juggled other commitments around to ensure my heating problem was solved ASAP. We recently moved into this property and felt the central heating and hot water system needed updating. We obtained several quotes but felt Mullins provided the most efficient service with excellent advice and a competitive quote. The work including a new boiler with new flue, eight radiators with thermostatic valves and remote control was completed efficiently and cleanly by very friendly and informative workmen. We would happily recommend this company to all and look forward to having the yearly servicing completed by them. An excellent experience with all the company's staff.

We had an old, inefficient boiler and its controls checked along with the radiators in a house that we have just purchased. Mullins advised on the best quality and most efficient boiler - a condensing boiler - to replace the existing one, along with replacing some of the radiators. The job was done very neatly, and the heating system thoroughly re-checked, all to a pre-agreed budget, which while it seemed a little more expensive than average, was well worth it for the high quality of work done. Everything was left immaculate afterwards. The system all works very well now. Right from the first communications with the office, Mullins could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them and they will now always be our provider of choice for anything to do with heating and plumbing.

Work involved new gas boiler, cylinder, pump, thermostats, timer, three new radiators, one replacement radiator and associated pipework. Throughout the process of first visit, issue of estimate, agreeing to go ahead, setting dates, work being carried out, clearing scrap and commissioning. Exceptional service, called on Monday morning, had quotes by Monday afternoon, and as our boiler had given up in this cold weather, they even juggled their workload and fitted new boiler on the Thursday. Office staff and fitters friendly and polite. Great workmanship. Would definitely recommend.

The two fitters arrived on time, were efficient, polite and informative, put dust sheets down to protect the work surface and floor, cleared up after themselves, and completed the fitting of a gas boiler within one day. The engineer was courteous , explaining the very valid reasons for needing to disconnect an obviously dangerous appliance . We were given a very prompt appointment to install the boiler , the engineer arrived at the promised time and took every possible care during the installation . Woke up to our boiler not working. Cold call to Mullins following finding them via which trusted trader website.They were able to come round by lunchtime and everything fixed in no time. Very pleased with price and service.

Our family has been using Mullins for years. Our property had been rented out and we had relied on them to service our heating. When we returned to the property we have found most of the radiator taps do not work and the noise from them was deafening. Despite this we asked them to return to service the boiler and fix some of the problems and also if we could renew our service contract which had over run by 7 months. Even though we have been with them for many years they refused us the opportunity to renew the contract as they now advised us our boiler was deemed to old. We are thoroughly disappointed with Mr Mullins and his team.
