Nick came to do the yearly boiler service, the 2nd year he has done it. He did a very thorough job and was clean and tidy. Very good value.

Nick persisted in his efforts to solve a stubborn leak and was able to fix the problem. He was professional and courteous in his approach and I would highly recommend his work. He arrived on time and completed the work within the estimated cost. Very happy with all aspects of the work.

Contacted this plumber after reading his excellent reviews and he did not disappoint. He replied very promptly and was able to do the job the next day. Originally required a leaking kitchen cold tap fixed but was advised and shown the hot tap also had a slow leak. It was no trouble for him to fix this also as well as installing in-line shut off valves and an extra mounting washer on each tap - his opinion was that the taps were looser than desired and this could have led to the leak. Overall I am extremely pleased with the work done and the very reasonable cost. It was a surprise to find a plumber willing to do such a necessary but small and fiddly job as previous experience suggested that they prefer larger and more lucrative work.

Installed new boiler smart thermostat to price agreed in advance. I have been using Nick for many years, he often goes above expectations. On this job, he was able to fix some old wiring issues whilst fitting the new thermostat, with no additional charge. He always clearly explains what he’s doing and is very knowledgable in his field.

We had a problem with our boiler whereby we had to top up the system pressure twice a day. I found Nicks number and called him. I explained the issue and unexpectedly he said “I will try to get to you today or tomorrow, send me your details and I will message you to let you know when I can make it.” Sure enough he messaged me and informed me he was on his way. When he arrived he went straight to the job. He took care and laid our sheets to avoid any mess. Once he had identified the problem, he showed us and explained it to us. We were quite surprised at the build up in the expansion tank. He cleaned it all out and replaced a new part as well as checking everything out after. What he charged us for the work was a pleasant surprise, we thought it could’ve easily been more but it was very fair. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nick to anyone who needs a good gas safe plumber. He was excellent.

Nick installed a gas cooker for me a few years ago, then repaired our old combi boiler and now, on a 3rd visit, I asked him to finally replace the old boiler. He has always been punctual, professional and his work tidy. No hidden surprises or charges. The boiler replacement took him a lot longer than he anticipated, given that the previous installation was likely done by a DIYer, yet he persevered, tidied up whatever he could as he went along and he didn't charge anything additionally. When he installed the flue on the outside wall, he patched up a crack in our render, even though it was there previously. Recommended!

Nick came around promptly to look at the job of replacing my old heating system with new radiators and flow-and-return pipework. He gave me a very reasonable quotation. Work commenced shortly afterwards. He arrived when he said he would and did a magnificent job in difficult circumstances as the house was fully furnished and work conditions were not ideal. He cleared up after himself as the job progressed so made minimal mess. He replaced flooring and furniture so you wouldn't have known he had been here. He and his right hand man did a professional job with good humour and were a pleasure to have in the house. They worked efficiently and with enthusiasm. This is the second time I have used this company and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Recently called Nick out to fault find a non-working boiler. Nick worked diligently throughout the afternoon and kept me informed about progress and what exactly he was doing. The fault turned out to be a circuit board in need of replacing and Nick was able to source the part and repair the boiler on the same afternoon. The pricing for this job was very reasonable. I have also used used Nick to replace 2 boiler valves in the past. I was very pleased with the service. Price was agreed in advance and he took care to clean up after the work and used dust sheets to keep workspaces clean. Nick was easy to reach via telephone and very knowledgeable in his trade providing clear answers to questions. Nick has also resolved issues with an old immersion heater at a family member's property after a franchised plumbing firm (Drain Doctor) botched the initial attempt to repair the fault. Nick was able to quickly re-do the job (install new element, repair faulty wiring due to poor workmanship) and get the immersion heater to working order and was literally 6 times cheaper than the cowboys (Drain Doctor) attending before.

Nick arrived, as usual, on time & carried out his work diligently & professionally. The timer on my boiler had stopped working & Nick promptly came out, after only visiting a few months prior for the yearly boiler check, to fix the issue. In the space of a few hours, he disconnected the old timer & thermostat, replacing it with a new IR timer & thermostat, which I am now able to keep in the living room, giving much better control over the temperature in there! Not only is he great at what he does, but he's also honest, polite & friendly which goes a long way in my book.

We needed a fortic tank replacing, contacted Nick after reviewing Which Trusted Traders. He visited and advised that to improve hot water flow it may be worth considering an unvented tank system. A quote and a suitable date was agreed. The job was completed on time and on budget. We found Nick to be industrious and kept us informed of progress. He left everything tidy. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

Today was the annual service of the boiler Nick installed for me a few years ago. He reminds me when the work is due to be done, he is punctual, friendly, and doesn't try to charge a huge amount. I would certainly recommend him.

Nick attended promptly after receiving an email report that the property heating system was faulty. He investigated, diagnosed the problem and provided remedial solution to it by supplying and repacing the central heating pump of the heating system. I am a satisfied customer for a job well done and promptly attended to.

This was the annual service of the boiler, which Nick had installed a few years ago. There was a broken component, which he repaired. Also, one of the radiators had a leaky tap, which he replaced.

I had suffered the strange phenomena of having to run the hot tap to get the cistern to fill with water after use of the toilet. Nick took a couple of minutes to work out what the problem was and gave me an explanation. He fetched and fitted a brand new flush valve after carefully measuring for fit. All was done after protecting the floor with a waterproof covering and making sure that the correct size of flush valve was installed. Everything to do with the cistern was cleaned before being reinstalled. He is happy to explain to the uninitiated, like me, what he is doing and why. This is the second job done for me. A good blend of experience and up to date knowledge.

Nick was friendly and had great customer service and communication from the start. He showed up on time and stayed much later than anticipated to get the work done, he fitted a new sink and tap for me along with a stop switch for the water.
