We have just had LVT fitted throughout our hallway and kitchen and the lads at Nest Flooring have been fantastic from start to finish. Dan was great in the shop with assisting with our choice, he was very knowledgeable on all the products. The customer service has been top notch. Dans communication throughout the process has been great and he did 2 house visits before installation. We are very pleased with the finished floor and would 100% use them again. We are extremely happy with our new LVT flooring. Dan, the owner of Nest Flooring, was very friendly and at the same time very professional, both during the measuring and quotation process (he even sent us full-size samples of the flooring we had chosen to help us make our final decision regarding colour - we could match the samples with the woodwork of our kitchen). The installation of the flooring by Dan and Callum was done professionally and carefully, and we were told what was happening at every stage - the pride in their work was obvious, and they left no mess at all.

Researched this company before choosing them to fit carpet to stairs and LVT on a small landing area. I visited their shop on a few occasions and they called out to my home to measure and answer my concerns; I was told work would be completed 1-2 days. I went ahead and paid the 50% upfront cost as per the invoice. Unfortunately, there were a lot of snags and several visits to rectify them. I was still not happy, especially with a lump under the LVT. I was told this was due to my stair case frame (this is a new stair case finished to a high standard). I'm no expert, but I would assume the floor should be levelled before laying the LVT as part of the sub floor preparation? Furthermore, a carpet gripper was placed incorrectly and they had to return to amend for a better grip. I was given a discount and told to pay or legal action would be taken. I paid stating it was in good faith that they would fix any future issues as I was still concerned with the level of the floor. Weeks later a small corner piece of the carpet was hoovered up (I assume this was a patch they had glued). Eventually after several emails asking them to return, I received a reply and was told "the damage to the carpet happened over 3 months after installation whilst hoovering and not a snag"....and "I made it clear to you on my last visit 'in no uncertain terms' that we would not be returning to your property again". This was news to me. Very disappointed, all I wanted was the work to be finished on time and to a high standard.

The finished floorings look fantastic and they were reasonably priced compared to competitors. I fully trusted these guys around the house and they were very nice people too. From the initial visit to our house for the survey, through the comprehensive product knowledge and advice Dan gave to inform our choice of flooring and through fitting the service outstanding in every respect. Dans product knowledge, communication and professionalism was of the highest standard of a sort you really want but struggle to find. It was great to have someone who works to this standard not only because of customer expectation but because of the standards he sets for his service and his work. It goes without saying that we are really delighted with our new hall floor. It was great to have such a stress free service and an amazing finish. If you are looking for a flooring company this is the one you should choose!!
