Next Day Solar Limited

Did some research before picking Next Day Solar, including checking that they were a Which Trusted Trader. I had 3 quotes from various firms. One was way off (cheap) which we discarded. Of the 2 remaining quotes, we decided to go with Next Day Solar with their prompt and good customer service at the beginning. We have been really pleased not only with the work that was done but also the way it was done. The team were friendly, respectful, thoughtful. They took the time to explain what and why they were doing things. They always had time to explain how the system would work and have continued to support me since go live to also help me get the most out of it. I have already recommended them to my neighbours. Well done!

I recently experienced a problem with one of four lights purchased last year not working. In response to my query the Company rapidly offered to send a replacement which I received a couple of days later. Exemplary service!

Next Day Solar were remarkable. They were neither the most expensive nor the cheapest quote that we had, but I'd done a little homework. I'd previously lost a chunk of money when another supplier went bust before installation, and NDS were flexible with the way I paid the deposits which was appreciated. They then proceeded to do exactly what they'd promised, on time. They were polite, flexible and enthusiastic. Installation was tidy and every step was explained. The system is now in, and performing well, and they're giving ongoing support. Highly recommended to friends and strangers alike.

Next Day Solar installed a system of 19 PV panels on our East and West-facing roofs, together with a 9.6 kW battery and a 6kW inverter. I'm very happy with the system. It was at an acceptable price (4/5 stars below simply means that I don't really know whether others are cheaper). Stefan and Said were very pleasant people to deal with, as was David the electrician, and they displayed total confidence that any design and installation problems would be solved, without the usual sucking of teeth. The overwhelming majority of communication was very good (with the occasional wobble). All the paperwork and certification was done efficiently and properly. You do need to be involved, though. We ended up with panels located considerably differently than what was anticipated on the original quote - the result is distinctly superior, but I don't know that it would have been if I hadn't been involved in the discussions. The decision on where to locate the battery and inverter was a tricky one in our case, and it could easily have ended up in a non-ideal place if I hadn't been there at the time the installation work with done. And they did nearly forget a small detail of the installation (bird-proofing mesh for the panels). But I think that just reflects the complexity of these systems - they're not yet a simple "just get on with it" item. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I have warmly recommended Next Day Solar to my neighbours.

I came across Next Day solar at an ecology day at Princes Risborough, we had just had a quote from a national company for installing some solar Panels and a battery. I was impressed by their expertise and enthusiasm so asked them to give a comparable quote. They did a survey and quote and it was a few thousand pounds cheaper, faster delivery and a more pragmatic battery solution than on offer from the other supplier. We accepted their quote and waited for the various permission's to go through. The installation commenced on the 21st of March and was running on the 23rd. The team they brought with them experienced one or two issues with clacked slates in our roof which they resolved. All went efficiently and they left work areas clean and tidy. Since installation we have generated 83% of all our electrical needs. Where our ignorance has got the better of us Next day solar have been supportive and helpful and I am delighted I chose them.

After struggling to find a contractor Next Day Solar was recommended to me. From day one from the initial contact with the office, to receiving a quotation and to the installation I could not fault them . They battled with the ineptitude of Southern electric, which took 5 months to surmount, and delivered an outstanding installation. The work comprised of 6 panels mounted on the flat roof of a detached garage linked to an inverter and battery storage facility. The work was carried out professionally and the lads worked extremely hard to complete the work in 2 days. Excellent
