I was initially concerned about hiring someone for this project because my hallway has a tricky, unusual shape, and the wallpaper I chose has a bold pattern that I worried might be difficult to align harmoniously. Jason completely exceeded my expectations—the result is flawless! He has transformed what was once a dull hallway into my absolute favourite part of my apartment. From start to finish, Jason’s approach was thoroughly professional. He was serious, collaborative, and punctual, making the whole process seamless and stress-free. Brilliant job from start to finish. Great communication and amazing attention to detail — even painted the lining black for my black/gold wallpaper so no white would show. Not the cheapest, but absolutely worth it for the quality. Highly recommend!

Novitas did a great job of painting the exterior of our house, repairing woodwork and varnishing. It hadn’t been done for over 15 years and now looks superb! Very happy! We were in the early stages of looking for a qualified decorator, not just a jobbing painter, when we received a positive report from a neighbour who had recently used Novitas. Within a day of contacting Novitas, Jason visited to provide a quote for painting the hallway, stairs and two landings in our Victorian house. He came across as very professional and organised, highly knowledgable and able to provide good, up to date advice on all aspects of the work required, including makes and types of paint, etc. A reasonable, comprehensive quote arrived later the same day, which we accepted, and were able to agree a start date. The work was carried out by Barry and Gary, two great members of their team, who were professional, polite and friendly at all times. Any inconvenience was minimised, they explained what they were doing and kept us up to date with progress. They were painstaking in the preparation of walls, ceiling and woodwork, and the quality of their work was top class. They arrived on time each morning, and tidied up at the end of the day. We are delighted with the end result, which has cheered up a rather tired area of the house that hadn't seen a drop of new paint in fourteen years! We have no hesitation in highly recommending Novitas, and will most certainly use them again in the future.

Jason was recommended to me by Lincrusta as it was my first time specifying their product for installation and it requires someone with specific training to do it. From the outset he was extremely responsive on email. When quoting for the job he demonstrated huge expertise and technical knowledge as well as explaining where things may not be straightforward. His quote was also very fair. He started and finished the job on time and delivered a finish that replicated the sample that we agreed. Lincrusta is hand painted so it is quite a skilled craft. He also painted all the woodwork for us and did a great job. He was very professional and polite. I am very happy with his work and would certainly use him again.

Jason re-painted our wooden kitchen units by hand and also painted the walls, woodwork and ceiling. He was very professional and did a great job, we are so pleased with the end result.
