I have been using Andy at Omni (Plumbing & Heating) for the last 6 years. His annual boiler service costs are incredibly competitive and the inspections thorough. Any work that has needed to be carried out or parts replaced over the years he has arranged and organised and then fitted swiftly. Getting everything back on track! He is also a Vallient specialist so if like me, you have invested in a high quality Vallient unit, then having a specialist look over it will give you piece of mind. Andy has also in the past being available outside of normal business hours, for me to contact when I’ve had an issue. I have found this to be very reassuring me in those slightly more intense moments when I have had a problem. Therefore I cannot recommend Andy enough! Andy is a fantastic experienced engineer, who is super approachable and easy going yet highly professional and reliable.

My 24 year old Vaillant boiler replaced with a new Vaillant boiler. Andy engineer patiently took me through the system, how to use the app to control in straightforward way I understood. He worked efficiently & completed the work in a timely manner. He is an asset to Vaillant & would recommend.

Andy came out to advise on a replacement to our suddenly defunct combi boiler. He took the time to talk through all our options, answered our questions, provided a few quotes to allow us to weigh up our choices, answered yet more questions with incredible patience. After deciding on what felt our best option he fitted us in at the first available opportunity and focused entirely on getting the work done - no going off to other jobs before ours was completed for example. After the work was completed he took the time to make sure we understood how to control the new boiler and has made sure we know we can contact him if we have any teething problems.

Our ageing combi boiler was in need of replacing, so I contacted several reputable installers for advice and quotes, including Andy. He was very busy, so I agreed to wait approx 2 weeks for him to visit. This was well worth the wait! His knowledge and experience was immediately evident in his approach to the work. Some installers had given the impression that they would simply fit a system that they 'usually' do. Not so with Andy! He was painstaking in his attention to detail and questioning, to get the best system and controls suited to our house and needs. A detailed, reasonably-priced quote followed. We proceeded to have the work done and have no regrets. This was all done on time and to our great satisfaction. There were a few teething problems with the internet-enabled controls, but these were resolved quickly. Andy was honest and trustworthy throughout. Although he is very busy, we have been able to rely on him for follow-up support - this is not something that other traders necessarily provide. Our first yearly service was carried out extremely thoroughly. It is good to know that we have found someone of this calibre and are very willing to recommend him.

Andy was asked to renew our system because of his excellent reviews on Trustedtrader. He did not disappoint us at all. A start date, a specification and a price for the work was quickly agreed and commenced and finished on time and on budget. A few weeks on from completion, I am delighted to report no problems ( other than a minor water pressure issue very quickly solved by Andy), and the house is toasty warm when the easily programmed system is operating. I must also comment on the artistic standard of copper pipework that Andy installed to allow the system to operate properly: it is in a metre by metre pantry alongside the new boiler and is a delight to see, and has been commented on by other tradesmen. Likewise with the external run off pipework which is carefully lagged in thick material. Both of these items speak strongly of Andy’s care and professionalism. Hopefully, we can continue to benefit from Andy’s professionalism at each annual service to come.

We asked Andy to move our boiler from the kitchen to the basement. He came and had a look and explained how it could happen and provided a detailed quote. There was one hiccup along the way but Andy had solutions and made sure the job was finished to a very high standard. His work was excellent, very professional, and was very tidy! Would highly recommend him.

Our boiler was playing up and needed replacing, we contacted Andy through a recommendation and he came and discussed our options. A competitive quote was received promptly, taking into account our choice of controller/boiler and the additional piping modifications we needed to remove the problems we had with the last boiler (condensate pipe freezing in Winter). A time scale for the installation was agreed. Prior to the installation a text was received confirming arrival time for next day, the boiler was delivered and Andy promptly turned up at the agreed time to start the installation, through out the two day installation Andy was polite, courteous, trustworthy and a pleasure to have working in our kitchen, even though it must have been slightly annoying for him as i was very interested in watching the skillful way he modified the existing pipework to suit our new boiler, on completion Andy left the work area tidy and demonstrated his competence and desire, to make sure the job was completed thoroughly. He demonstrated the operation of the controls and the boiler has worked flawlessly since. I would Trust and recommend Andy to anybody i know, especially if i had work to perform in the house of an elderly person, who was concerned about somebody unknown working in their house. A few days later all the guarantees/certificates, were received by email as promised. The invoice was as quoted. I just hope when we need his services again he isn't too busy to help us again !

They came and surveyed the job, sent a very detailed quote and carried out the work exactly as described. Work done:- combi boiler serviced, kitchen tap replaced, radiator valve replaced. Consistently prompt replies sent to my emails regarding the work, plus an acknowledgement that payment had been received. Efficient email check / reminder sent to me 2 days before appointment. Punctual arrival; polite, professional and appropriately friendly attitude throughout; he made an efficient check on arrival about the repairs/work I was expecting; clear explanations of work and my options, and answers to my questions; got on with work then tidied up when work completed. Bill was in line with estimate. Everything is working well so far, I am particularly enjoying the tap!

Having been advised that my taps were suffering from water hammer and being quoted a large sum of money to remedy, I decided to get a second opinion and chose Omni from this website. Andy explained why he thought that the noise and juddering stemmed from a faulty kitchen tap and replaced it at a fraction of the price I had previously been quoted - result, no more problems, He also did a power flush and, unlike other plumbers, did not promise that this was guaranteed to cure my half cold radiators. He suspected that there could be a problem with the size of pipe used when the system was built. I decided to go ahead anyway and have tested the radiators a couple of times since but of course the winter will be the true test. I was very impressed with Andy's knowledge, honesty, standard of work and willingness to explain everything. Highly recommended.

I used the Omni website to request a quote for replacing seven radiators, adding one new radiator in a bathroom with no existing heating/plumbing, all with TRVs, an extra TRV for a radiator we were keeping, new kitchen tap and two bathroom taps replaced, boiler service and investigate a minor leak. Andy responded within a couple of hours, visited on the eleventh of January to assess work and quoted on the sixteenth. I agreed the quote on the eleventh of February as it was by far the most competitive. I was flexible on date, with no urgency. The work started on the fifth of April and completed over a few days at mutual convenience by the fourteenth of April. Unrelated to this initial work our toilet broke and so we asked Andy to install a new one we would purchase. He advised on the style we could choose due to awkward waste pipes. We also decided to add another radiator, and Andy adapted by preparing the plumbing in advance of the radiator being delivered so it would be an easier install. On initial completion of all work two of the taps required tightening, and Andy came out quickly to resolve, with no further issues. He also adjusted some floorboards for free. All work was clean and tidy. Andy's primary work is Gas and Central Heating plumbing, so we were grateful he was flexible to do the taps and toilet as well. Andy was friendly, balanced his work with personal/family commitments, and kept me informed of arrival times via text/WhatsApp or email throughout. Sometimes I had to chase, but nothing inconvenient. Overall solid professional job.

Andy Heath from Omni Plumbing replaced our old combi boiler with a new one, added a new radiator to the bedroom which replaced an old radiator and included repositioning, plus flushing and cleaning etc the whole central heating system. To be honest, I can’t fault his work, he was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He was on time, all work was carried out within schedule and within budget and everything was left clean and tidy. I’ve left this review until four months after work was completed and in that time we’ve had no cause to get Andy back, no ‘snagging’ needed no leaks, boiler and central heating system working fine - in fact better than before! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!

Andy replaced our very old boilers with a new combi boiler. Excellent work, very professional, all explained very well & really happy. Recommended & installed the smart thermostat too which has been brilliant. Highly recommended all round!

Andy Heath, and his able young assistant Josh, recently replaced my old, cumbersome and inefficient boiler which was on its last legs. The operation was far from straightforward but they carried out the job efficiently and cleanly ironing out any problems encountered on the way. The work was done on time and within the agreed budget. On completion Andy went through the operating instructions and offered any further assistance if needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Omni to anyone wanting a boiler replacement- in fact I already have.

Three radiators & a motorised valve replaced, heating system rebalanced and inhibitor added, plus spotted a leak from a header tank also repaired. All done efficiently and tidily and a with friendly manner

We have been making do with a very old boiler that only allowed us to have a shower that ran hot and cold, never a consistent temperature. With rising gas prices and a new baby on the way we decided it was time to invest in a new boiler and asked Andy at Omni to give us a quote. Satisfied with his friendly demeanour, pricing, wealth of knowledge and experience, aftercare offer and product, which is cost effective and by all accounts better for the environment than our inefficient old boiler, we booked Andy to come and fit our new boiler a few weeks later. He showed up nice and early and worked so hard for two days to replace our old boiler and ensure the new one was working properly. I was working from home at the time and was really impressed with Andy’s work throughout, he was focussed and efficient and just got on with the job, leaving me to get on with my day. Andy explained how all of the new technology worked and offered to be contacted should we have any questions as we started using it. Although he came with lots of tools and equipment, Andy left without a trace, taking our old boiler and any leftover bits with him. He ensured any damage he’d caused replacing the boiler on the front of the house was fixed and all the work was done to a very high standard. In two days we had a new boiler, consistent hot water and hopefully, a more affordable and efficient gas bill. It was totally worth spending the money on it and we couldn’t recommend Andy enough!

Was recommended Andy to sort a defective heat/hot water system in our new home after being stood up by other tradesmen. With winter drawing in getting it sorted ASAP was key. Communication good and an appointment was made quickly and stuck to. On the day the work took longer than expected but Andy was happy to stay to complete and even took the time at the end of a long day to talk us through the new system. Great reliable service and with the offer to stay in touch for any future issues. My new go-to!

When I first contacted Omni I was apprehensive to say the least having had a very bad experience with a kitchen fitter. However, Andy was polite and professional, he understood my requirements, gave me reasonably priced options and his work was top notch. He has since done completed some additional work for me and I continue to be delighted with his work and his work ethic. I would have no hesitation recommending Andy and Omni!

I contacted Andy due to an external leak, and even though he was busy until the middle of the following week, he was able to move things around and called me back with an earlier appointment. He turned up promptly and proceeded to repair the damaged pipe quickly and effectively. He thereafter went over and above by putting in 2 stop-valves to my external pipes. This allows me to pre-empt any potential external leaks or alternatively empty my external pipes which is especially beneficial whenever it gets cold and minimises any potential future damage to them. I am very happy with the manner in which Andy communicated with me at every stage in the process and that he not only repaired the leak but also helped in minimising future problems.

I rang Omni about a boiler service after reading a number of positive reviews. I spoke to Andy who was really helpful. He gave me costings for a basic service and for if further checks were needed. He was able to come within a week and gave a rough time, then texted on the day to confirm the time. He was very friendly, talked me through what he had done, told me how much it would be, and provided me with an electronic gas service record the same day. I received an invoice the following week. I was very pleased with the service I received, comms and timekeeping and the price seemed very reasonable and was what I had been quoted. I will definitely use Omni again.

Andy is a great bloke, he took his time to figure out the best solution to our tricky re-piping work, provided a clear & competitive quote and was consistently reliable. He helped us out along the way with things he didn't need to (we're renovating everything) and his after care service has been outstanding, we had a couple of little fixes needed after the whole system was upgraded and Andy has always been straight back to sort things out. A really polite, friendly guy. Highly recommended by us!

Andy serviced our boiler a few months ago, all fine. Recently hot water pressure dropped badly. He arrived on time, was efficient and today, explained the issue and clearly discussed options. We agreed on a bypass piping option, he came back and fixed it in 2 hours flat including drilling though bathroom wall - pressure now better than ever. Couldn't be more impressed with his approach, neatness of the job, and punctuality. Strongly recommend.

We went with Omni on recommendation from a friend who’d used them earlier in the year. We also knew we wanted a Valiant boiler. From the start Andy was helpful and approachable. This was our first house and first new boiler so we were apprehensive, but Andy was patient and provided us with plenty of info for different options which was so reassuring. He carried out his work professionally and with care, taking time to show us the new system. Two weeks in, we are really happy with our choice and would recommend Omni to anyone.

Andy was very professional and knowledgeable. He advised us in deciding which boiler would be best for us, changing from an old boiler to a new combi boiler. This was done to the agreed schedule and budget. Andy’s workmanship is of a high standard, and nothing was too much trouble. He also did a couple of other jobs for us and went to my daughter’s house to do a service on her boiler. We had a problem with our thermostat, but this was sorted out quickly and we are very happy with the new system.
