In January 2020, Mike from On-Track Computers built me a beautiful new Windows 10 Desktop PC to replace my 10-year old Windows 7 laptop. Naturally, after an interval of 10 years, I had been expecting the transition to a new computer to present a few teething troubles and a steep learning curve, but it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I gave Mike a list of 21 specifications for the new-build and it was ready in less than a week. It was set up in a way which he knew (from having serviced my previous computer for 6 years), would suit my methods of working, and in the four months since he built and installed it for me, it’s worked perfectly and I haven’t had to bother him with a single query. I can thoroughly recommend him as an excellent computer engineer as well as a very nice person.

My laptop had become very slow connecting to the internet. I presumed this to be the signal from the router and living in the countryside. However, after contacting On Track Computers Ltd and Mike taking my laptop to investigate I was rewarded with the laptop having a complete overhaul and a fast internet at a very reasonable cost. Mike was very helpful and informative and I have no hesitation recommending him.

Mike carried out a comprehensive rebuild of Windows and a thorough internal clean-up of the device. It now goes so fast it's frightening! Mike Nash is a professional and approachable IT hardware and system software engineer. He has supported and maintained my Windows desktop PC for several years and replaced my original PC when it became slow and short of memory with an up to date high specification system which he built and installed. I have an IT career myself (dating back to 1964!!) and Mike helps me to understand the new technologies and keeps me up to date with new developments (for example new versions of Windows). He has installed a first class virus software application on my PC which automatically updates regularly and keeps me safe on-line. I informed Mike of my usage information regarding my existing laptop and he gave me excellent and helpful advice on the specification I would need for a replacement laptop. He kept me informed every step of the way whilst he carried out the transfer of the contents to the new laptop. At all times he was ready to answer any questions I raised and also explained the matter of aftercare and destruction of the old laptop and it's contents.
