On-Track Computers provide a first class service with helpful ongoing aftercare. Also the remote access system is perfect during times when urgent issues require a remote resolution. The service received is brilliant and always timely when the need arises. I would not use any other IT company as they would not be able to provide a reliable service as professional as On-Track Computers , who have the knowledge and up to date systems to resolve any issue. On-Track computers also provide the latest new equipment and systems when the need arises.

The job was setting up a new laptop, selectively transferring data etc from my old one. Careful discussion about what to keep and what to eliminate, and really good up-to-date well explained advice on software options. Everything now running perfectly, as I learn the ins and outs of Windows 11. Likely costs were advised beforehand, again with options detailed. I have known Mike for a long time and always valued the benefit of his wide experience. Once again he has taken a potential problem off my desk!

I initially found Mike Nash in 2013 through Which? Local, soon after I retired from work. I needed my quite old desktop PC serviced to use instead of my works laptop. Soon afterwards he was able to advise me on the specification of a new desktop PC, software and antivirus software to meet my specific requirements. He procured the parts, built it, set it up and then delivered and installed it at my home. He subsequently serviced it annually. Recently I felt that my PC was no longer fully meeting my current requirements. Mike advised me that I needed a faster processor and larger RAM and that it would be sensible to now have Windows 11. My PC could not be upgraded to meet the required specification, so he gave me a quotation for a new PC. He also recommended some free software to replace my old versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. and free software to enable me to have access to some legacy emails and documents which I wanted to keep. He also recommended a larger monitor. I accepted the reasonable quotation and placed the order by phone on the afternoon of Monday 3 June. He procured the parts, built it, set it up and then collected my old PC on the afternoon of Wednesday 5 June to transfer all the necessary files. On the morning of Friday 7 June he delivered the new PC and monitor and installed them at my home, connecting them to my existing peripherals. His advice was excellent throughout the process, with great customer service and I would highly recommend him.

Having used the services of Mike in the past, on purchasing a new laptop, he was the obvious choice to set up my new laptop, installing the appropriate software and virus protection and transferring the relevant data. He arrived slightly early which was great and throughout the whole set up process he kept me informed of what he was doing and asking what I needed on the laptop. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and where challenges did arise, he always found a way of finding a solution. His prices are very reasonable and his service is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I informed Mike of my usage information regarding my existing laptop and he gave me excellent and helpful advice on the specification I would need for a replacement laptop. He kept me informed every step of the way whilst he carried out the transfer of the contents to the new laptop. At all times he was ready to answer any questions I raised and also explained the matter of aftercare and destruction of the old laptop and it's contents.

This was not my first dealing with Ontrack Computers Ltd but, as on previous occasions, Mike Nash provided a first class service from my initial call to completion. As previously I had no hesitation in leaving him to find and purchase the PC best suited to my needs and to then transfer all the data from the outgoing device. The quality of his service is such that I doubt I will need to contact him again for some considerable time. He is prompt, personable, and in my opinion at least, well-skilled in introducing the technologically semi-literate to their new equipment.

Mike Nash is a professional and approachable IT hardware and system software engineer. He has supported and maintained my Windows desktop PC for several years and replaced my original PC when it became slow and short of memory with an up to date high specification system which he built and installed. I have an IT career myself (dating back to 1964!!) and Mike helps me to understand the new technologies and keeps me up to date with new developments (for example new versions of Windows). He has installed a first class virus software application on my PC which automatically updates regularly and keeps me safe on-line. He is always available if needed to answer questions and provide advice and guidance. I have no hesitation therefore in recommending Mike Nash to prospective clients.

I can't believe how fast this new computer is compared to my old one. I've used Ontrack Computers for many years now and have always found them fast and efficient. I had detailed conversations about what I used my computer for and my requirements for image storage to set up the specification. Build time was very fast and installation only 2 hours. Contacted Mike after reading his reviews as I had totally fallen out of love with my aging computer after a "repair" done previously by another person - everything had become a long-winded struggle and it all seemed alien despite my having worked with computers for years. Mike has been my savior. From the initial phone call when we discussed my decision for a new computer, to the quotation, to the follow-up phone calls to check I was still happy with everything, to the actual installation - a dream. He listens, he reassures and he answers all the questions patiently. The installation when he transferred all my photos and files and took me through all the setups etc. was so relaxed - I just wish I had found him two years ago.

I have used Mike of Ontrack Computers for ten years since I retired from work. He gives excellent service and extremely reliable and has a lot of patience especially dealing with me as I am profoundly deaf. I have relied on Mike to keep me and my PC going with regular service and to tidy up my mess. My PC died on me Saturday the twenty second of January. Got in touch with Mike on the twenty fourth by text and email. It was collected on the twenty sixth and it was decided, as it was nine years old to replace the computer. Accepted his quote and Mike went ahead and built a new PC including Windows eleven. On Thursday the third of February, had my new PC delivered and set up ready for me to use. Mike gives outstanding service and he is five star and I would highly recommend him.

We have used Mike at On track Computers for several years. He gives our computer an annual service and renew our Anti Virus. He is always punctual and always very efficient.

My laptop had become very slow connecting to the internet. I presumed this to be the signal from the router and living in the countryside. Due to the Covid19 lockdown I was pleased to be able to schedule a remote service for my PC including security, virus check, MOT and tune up. It was easy to arrange with simple initial instructions to set up. I was able to discuss any issues with my PC at the start of the service and found the process very efficient. Mike was very helpful and arranged the renewal of my internet security suite at the same time.

We have used Mike Nash as our go to computer guy for a number of years. He built us, to our specification, a pair of computers six years ago which he installed and networked for us. They are still reliable and very fast even today. At the time he linked them to our TV so we could also display spreadsheets etc on the screen. Over the years we have regularly had our hardware serviced by him and having moved away geographically he still does any work for us remotely. His work is always excellent and done in a timely and cost effective fashion. When something is not feasible or likely to be very expensive he tells you up front so that there are no nasty surprises. He is always available to answer queries or emergencies. He is approachable and honest and very easy to deal with. Highly recommended. The fact that we have stayed with his service even though we have now moved out of his area says a lot in terms of how satisfied we are with him.

The company is very professional and delivers and is excellent in the following areas: Always uses good quality equipment. Delivers on time. Keeps the customer informed of what is happening. Takes a lot of care and pride in what it does. Installation work is always clean and tidy Takes time to explain what the customer is buying Gives good advice. Is patient when training the customer in the use of the equipment and always takes time to answer questions and explains the answer. (In my particular case he needs patience to answer my queries as I am not very computer literate). If no one is available to take a phone enquiry someome always gets back to you promptly. Telephone questions are answered promptly and patiently. Telephone reminders for servicing are provided. My wife and I both have computers supplied by On Track. I would not hesitate to recommend On Track Computers.

In January 2020, Mike from On-Track Computers built me a beautiful new Windows 10 Desktop PC to replace my 10-year old Windows 7 laptop. Naturally, after an interval of 10 years, I had been expecting the transition to a new computer to present a few teething troubles and a steep learning curve, but it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I gave Mike a list of 21 specifications for the new-build and it was ready in less than a week. It was set up in a way which he knew (from having serviced my previous computer for 6 years), would suit my methods of working, and in the four months since he built and installed it for me, it’s worked perfectly and I haven’t had to bother him with a single query. I can thoroughly recommend him as an excellent computer engineer as well as a very nice person.
