Orchard Garage Limited is a family run, independent garage based in Dartford.

We MOT, service and repair all makes and ages of cars and vans, we also MOT motorbikes.

We have a good range of used cars for sale on our forecourt, all are fully checked, serviced and come with a year’s MOT. We offer used car finance via Close Motor Finance and a number of other finance providers.

We have courtesy cars available free to our customers and accept all major cards, including American Express.

We take pride in the way we treat our customers and enjoy good relationships built on mutual trust. Many of our customers travel long distances to come back to us having moved away from the area!

We are members of The Good Garage Scheme and many independent reviews of our Garage can be seen on their website too.

As a company we actively support Dartford Cricket Club and also the Ellenor.

Broke down and had to be relayed to garage. Garage received my car at 4.00pm on Thursday and by 10.30am on Monday they had completed the repair which was to replace the clutch. Excellent service from initial phone call to completion. The work was completed to the initial budget and in record time. All staff were very helpful and courteous and kept me informed of progress.

Orchard garages really came to the rescue today when I was let down 5 minutes before my MOT was booked with another garage. I went to the park road branch to see if they had any availability and after ringing through to the Heath lane branch they said they would fit me in straight away over there. I drove round (only 5 minutes away, if that) and was on the ramp within 2 minutes of arriving. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, couldn’t do enough for you. Will be using them in future for any mechanic related needs.

Orchard Garage are 'old school' in their approach. They are polite, friendly, extremely helpful and cannot do enough for you. They always book the car in when it suits you, which is almost unheard of in big dealerships, and you always get offered a cup of tea! They demonstrate how excellent customer service should be. I have found all staff friendly and helpful. They have always tried to accommodate me at short notice when needed. All work I have had done has been reasonably priced with no unexpected extras added on. The counter staff always contact before completing work so there are no unwelcome extra costs when you pick your vehicle up. I have also purchased a used car from the garage and couldn't fault their service and after sales care.

Golf coolant pump was playing up and main dealer quoted eye watering amount to fix. Orchard did the work to a high standard at less than half the price quoted by the main dealer..... very happy with the work and cost. I will be back.

My dad took his car here as it was hard to start. The technicians took the car in start away and run a few tests to diagnose the issue. This was done very quickly and they informed my dad a new battery was required. The battery was replaced quickly and started perfectly after. Great garage would 100% recommend.

I knew my car would fail its MoT this year, so it was no surprise to be told they would need to keep my car overnight to get the work carried out to rectify the faults. What did come as a pleasant surprise was the offer of a loan car until mine was ready. That is fabulous customer service - delighting me and assuring I will return for any other work my or my wife's car needs. My car was then ready the next day and the bill to sort everything out was very reasonable.

the worked on my car last year broke my cv boot never told me about it.took it back they said they repaired it.this year same garage mot failed due to them damaging my brake pipe and the same cv boot was split,so they didn,t replace cv boot just glued it for cheap fix.they done mot last year only Advisory was worn rear anti roll bar bushes.so my brake pipes were fine as if they weren,t it would have been listed as a advisory last year.suddenly they claim the brake pipe burst on the mot.(yeh course it did.)then want £240 to fix it.stay away heard other.

This customer's car is 13 years old with over 115,000 miles and failed it's MOT on 7 things and was advised on 8 more. The brake pipe burst whilst on the brake testing part of the MOT test, above the fuel tank, where it couldn't be easily seen. Unfortunately, not everyone can see that that may have saved their life. We’re a family run independent garage and always quote a price before carrying out repairs, never forcing a customer to have the work done; on this occasion, we have simply failed the MOT to avoid a dangerous car being on the road. After getting very abusive towards us, we asked this customer to leave without paying for his MOT. He did, saying he would teach us a lesson. This customer has posted many similar reviews, some personally abusive to our staff. All we would ask is that you take time to read our other reviews and perhaps come in and meet us and make your own minds up about the sort of garage we are.

I used this garage when I had a knocking noise on my car when driving down the A2 I pulled in and ask for assistance, straight away they fitted me in and mechanic took my car for a test drive and then had it up on the ramp. they diagnosed the issue straight away and had me back on the road within 30 minutes. they where very helpful and friendly would recommend.

Caught on the M25 in a traffic jam, coil goes. I have to get to Norfolk. My local garage (Central Garage in Tenterden) rang Orchard Garage for me. By the time I arrived, the parts were on their way. Request by Orchard for a motorbike delivery as traffic horrendous, within 1 hour I was on my way again. They were superb in every way.

Arrived 1 1/2 hours early for booked motorcycle MOT; gentleman said no problem. Bike failed but what needed to be done was clearly explained as was the process for the certificate to be issued. Turned up a few days later and chap immediately checked and issued certificate without extra charge. I will be using this garage for all future work on my car.

Last job I used Orchard for was to repair my exhaust. Excellent customer service, never had to take car back when repairs have been completed, always on time
