They fitted a new boiler for me a couple of months ago. The water temperature from the hot tap is at best warm to the extent that having a bath is pointless. I checked the settings on the boiler were at maximum before calling them for advice. I was told that it was the water pressure from Scottish Water?. They offered to send an engineer out at a cost to myself of £127.00. I will call out an engineer but it won’t be one of theirs. Appalling service.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate you taking the time to do so. The review is incorrect. We installed your boiler on 03/10/2025, which is 4 months since it was installed. We note that all testing at the time of installation was within the manufacturer's guidelines, and we completed a handover where the boiler was working in perfect order. You called our office on 02/02/2026 to notify us of a drop in hot water temperature at the tap in the bath. We explained that the boiler is under warranty with the manufacturer (10 years), and it's within their remit to resolve any issues with the boiler within that period. We also expressed that it's best to contact them, as working on the boiler within the warranty period can void the warranty. We also followed up with a recap email,l which included all the information you need. We gave advice that the incoming water pressure and cold water temperature coming into the property can affect the maximum temperature on your boiler, so blaming Scottish Water was not true; it was advice on a potential issue. As you insisted, it should be Origin attending. We explained that the warranty call would be free to you if attended by the manufacturer, but if we attend, it would cost a call-out fee. We are sorry that the guidelines set out by the manufacturer are not to your liking and that our process in handling warranty calls does not suit you. Regardless of the review, we are still here for any help you may require

Contacted Origin as our boiler was beyond repair, received a call that night and had a new boiler fitted the very next day. Very happy with the quality of work and would definitely recommend.

A new boiler installed. Service and attention to detail was first class. Options as to which boiler was also very clear and extensive. On completion every area was cleaned and tidied up.
