Oxyplumb Boiler Services

Oxyplumb recently completed a boiler upgrade to our home. Having gone out to a couple of other firms, Oxyplumb were competitive on price. The install was completed on time and the engineer was polite, tidy and punctual. Given the boiler was being installed in an older property, the engineer did well to deal with a couple of constaints and was really accomodating. Would thoroughly recommend Oxyplumb.

Another year for the Annual Service on the boiler. This time on a new Boiler supplied and fitted by Oxyplumb in October 2024. After 1 year's use our energy costs were £200 lower than the previous 12 months despite rate increases. The communication re the service was excellent, a text on the day to advise of arrival time, a clean and tidy service all carried out professionally.

Once again I have used the services of Oxyplumb, this time for annual boiler maintenance. As before, communication to arrange the service was excellent. On the day, the service had to be postponed for a couple of hours because of an emergency elsewhere. Not a problem, as I was informed in good time of the re-scheduled arrival of the service engineer. Matt's work (the engineer whom I have known for a number of years) was again: tidy, 'short, sharp and down to the point'. Overall, a positive experience, yet again.

We have used Oxyplumb for years, including replacing a boiler, annual boiler servicings and repairs. Every time they have been excellent in their work: prompt, efficient, very reasonable and always helpful. The office as well as the engineers have always been very helpful too. I would highly recommend them.

I dealt with Leigh from survey / quotation until his personal work replacing our old boiler. He provided a clear and fair quotation, maintained good contact throughout, and proved reliable. Good attention to detail and neat work. The installation went as he said, and he was responsive in quickly replacing a faulty ex-factory part on the boiler so we were not without hot water. Good job and good people.

Oxyplumb Boiler's plumber identified the problem quickly and returned with the replacement parts and fixed the problem with no fuss and left no mess.

I have used Oxyplus numerous times over the years and every time the have been thorough keeping me informed as to the progress, always neat and tidy. Admin wise they changed my service date with no problem and keeping me informed even down to what time their service rep would be arriving at my house, to the minute. Cabt thank them enough.

We had a problem with the downstairs loo. We had a really good chat with Lisa, who worked out how long the appointment needed to be and how much it would cost, and confirmed the appointment. We got a text on the day of the appointment to advise that the plumber was on his way, and James turned up as scheduled. He was friendly and informative and completed the work without fuss or mess in the time planned. The invoice was emailed the next day, exactly in line with the quote. Couldn’t fault the end-to-end service

New ( replacement) boiler installation by James. He was extremely thorough and professional . Did a brilliant job and always friendly and helpful . He resolved issues he found too. Amazing service from Lisa in the office and Peter doing the plumbing. Lisa was so friendly and helpful when I rang, fitting me in where they'd had a job rearranged. It was a really difficult tap installation due to the location, but Peter worked quickly and efficiently to find a solution keeping me informed throughout. Left everything clean and perfect. I'd already recommended Oxyplumb 3 times to friends and family before the end of the day!

New boiler, reposition radiators and general plumbing work. Leigh clearly knows his subject from initial site survey to recommending the best system for the situation. He also approaches any problems that might arise in a cool, calm manner checking through diagnostics in a logical order until he finds the cause (if he hasn't already worked it out). James and josh doing the installation were polite and pleasant to have around. They both get on with the job in hand without fuss. Lisa in the office brings it all together, managing enquiries, bookings and appointments. She has been super-efficient and helpful from start to finish of the project and managed to juggle things to fit in a couple of unexpected site visits at short notice when the need arose. Their automated system sends appointment reminders by text and lets you know when the engineer is on his way, very useful. Prices are comparable to similar work I had done on a previous property about 18 months ago. Highly recommended all round.

Annual boiler service completed. From initial contact with the office to completion of the job all staff members were polite, friendly and professional. Engineer arrived on time, everything left neat and clean on completion of job. Have used Oxyplumb on previous occasions, would not hesitate to recommend.

Recently had an Oxyplumb engineer visit to service our boiler and cylinder. Excellent customer service from the initial contact with the office to the helpful, polite and knowledgeable technician. I would highly recommend Oxyplumb and will definitely be using their services again.

When we had a problem with the kitchen and utility room waste water pipe blocking up, Oxyplumb came over the same day and fixed the problem. Moreover, they have made a modification that means if it happens again it will be quicker and easier to resolve. All this was done for a fair charge.

Completed a difficult job after a gas boiler completely failed. Diagnosed the problem and corrected it a day earlier than promised. Completed additional work promptly. Always on time, polite, friendly and very competent, and always keeping me informed about the work needed before and during it. Really up to the mark-the best I have used for plumbing!!!

Oxyplumb provided an excellent response to my faulty Heating controller. Despite being a very busy time for them pre Christmas they scheduled an engineer within a week. What was most impressive was they contacted me to offer a much earlier slot only a few days later. The engineer arrived at exactly the promised time, was friendly efficient and gave some really useful tips during the visit. The price of the new controller seemed very reasonable compared to examples seen online. Highly recommended.

Oxyplumb replaced two gas boilers on site, flushed the heating system and replaced a number of failed TRVs. The work was completed quickly, neatly and with minimum disruption. Roberto and Josh were well presented, polite and helpful throughout. Very happy to recommend Oxyplumb.

Always book boiler service as engineers are first class. The administration keeps you informed of the appointment day and time. On the day you are texted to say engineer is on way with a time slot. Always a first class service and would highly recommend this company.

We had a leaking pipe in the garage and also many radiators that did not seem to be working. Oxyplumb were extremely helpful on the phone (Sarah and Liza) and arranged a visit by one of their plumbers. Mike was excellent: arrived when stated, was very personable, efficient, knowledgeable and went the extra the mile getting us a pump in order to get us sorted with heating, especially with a young baby being in the house. He sorted all our issues and provided clear explanations and answered all our questions. Thank you.

After discovering a slight leak from our boiler, Lisa arranged an engineer to attend within 48 hrs. Mike attended on time, introduced himself and got straight to work. His customer service was outstanding, he explained what had gone wrong, how he was going to fix it and did exactly that. Such a friendly and professional chap. I would not go anywhere else. Lovely work from Rob and Josh from Oxyplumb changing all our radiators. Good advice, really tidy work keeping disruption to a minimum and just thoroughly nice chaps to have in the house! Highly recommended.
