Received reminder for my boiler service (great) from Richard. The service was carried out within just over 2 weeks. As usual excellent service,respect for property,politeness . Explanation was given for small part replacement. Would recommend to anyone.

Would highly recommend. Very professional, tidy and efficient. Immediately identified and fixed an issue causing pipes to shudder and bang (despite a previous plumber not being able to identify after two visits and much expense). Work carried out to a very high standard and would definitely use again.

Richard and Chris were very professional and hard working from the very start of the process to the end. They answered all our questions and nothing was too much of a trouble. I would totally recommend them to others and will use them again if I need to.

I got in touch with Richard as our heating wasn't working properly. He rang the next day to arrange a visit and gave a quote. We arranged a day for the repairs to be carried out and he and Chris arrived promptly. The repairs were carried out quickly and efficiently. Everything was left clean and tidy and there were no extra charges. Richard is a polite and friendly person who I consider extremely trustworthy. I will certainly use again.

Richard and Chris put in a new boiler, flushed our system all through, and put individual thermostats on all our radiators. Richard came twice before work to talk through our problems and advise. Then he and Chris came to complete the work, when they said they would, within the original time frame and left everything neat and tidy and as they found it. Both were knowledgeable and professional and thoroughly nice chaps to have in the house. Will not hesitate to use them again.

Alter hot and cold pipework so when the only bathroom is being refurbished, hot & cold water will still be available downstairs. New pipework is hidden discreetly behind the boiler. Hot water will have less pipework to travel through to the bathroom. Excellent job at a reasonable price.

Second annual boiler service by Richard. As on previous visits he was friendly and punctual, straightforward and easy to deal with, whilst also once again being informative as to how to get the most from the boiler whilst minimising unnecessary expense. Its a shame not all tradespeople are this easy to deal with!

Richard services our boiler annually, but I called him this morning when we could hear water gushing under the bath but had no water in the taps. Amazingly he came straight round before a booked job to sort it out for us. He discovered the problem (bad workmanship by fitters when bathroom was renewed had finally given way), did a quick fix, then returned after his booked job to complete. Will return in a few weeks to check how the saturated area under the bath has dried and what, if anything else, needs to be done. Such incredible service - we cannot thank him enough.

I have been using Paul Benham Heating for several years and have never had any cause for complaint. They are always punctual and carry out their tasks efficiently without cutting any corners. Both Richard and Chris are always polite and very helpful if I have any questions or queries regarding our heating. I would never consider using anyone else. Richard came round and did my annual service for the boiler. I have used him a few times before for other work like replacing heaters and pipe work, and his work is such quality that even though I could have got a free boiler service from British Gas, I preferred to pay him to do it as I trust his skills and knowledge. A great tradesman who I completely trust, and is my go-to person on all things gas and heating related.

Called up and they had someone round to view my old leaking boiler quickly. Gave me options and explained the pros and cons of each one. Went for a full boiler replacement- turned up, no hassle, replaced boiler, came up rapidly with a solution for some difficult access we weren't aware of for the flue outside. Cleaned up after finishing so the place was cleaner than when they started!

I needed an upgrade to the central heating piping before having an air source heat pump installed. Paul Benham Heating were recommended by a friend and Richard came to assess and plan the work beforehand. The re-piping requirements for the heat pump installation were not entirely straightforward but Richard gave me great confidence that he and Chris would be able to do the necessary work in time for the installation date and that the price would be fair. Richard consulted me where necessary before and throughout the process and discussed ways to minimise the disruption, particularly as the work involved lifting floorboards and carpets. I was very happy with the work that Richard and Chris did, leaving the place very tidy and helping to ensure the heat pump installation was straightforward. The work was completed earlier than expected and - as we’d agreed cost would be based on time and materials (suggested by Richard) - for a lower cost than I’d originally anticipated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Richard and Chris arrived at 8:00 on Monday 9 September to remove old back boiler and replace with Worcester Combi in loft. We vacated at 9:30 and left them to get on with it. Richard called us on Monday and Tuesday with a progress report and job was finished on Wednesday. Very clean and tidy workers. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Richard and Chris recently moved radiators for me in preparation for a new kitchen. As they’re my “go to” gas engineers there was no question who l’d be using as once again they provided excellent prompt service, completed the work efficiently and very tidily. Will be booking them again for my annual boiler service.

Richard has completed three annual boiler services for me and I am confident in his abilities to recommend him to other consumers and I will use his services again. He is punctual, polite, gives good advice and is reasonably priced.

Have used Richard many times and his punctuality and efficiency has always been top notch. This time I needed replacement of bath taps on a semi-sunken bath and a new stop cock in a very tight space. Both he and Chris worked diligently to solve the issues including being contortionists! Would recommend them without hesitation.

Richard from Paul Benham Heating had kindly provided a quote for the removal of 2 radiators and installation of a new one in a new location earlier in the year. We had agreed a start date in early September but due to changes my end l asked if we could delay a week but unfortunately they were already committed. (As an excellent company you do have to book early) Richard went over and above thinking how they could still help achieve the overall goal and with some quick thinking they were able to come up with a solution between himself and Chris. Later the same day they had visited my house, agreed a plan and Chris started that very afternoon and completed the work today. Not only have they completed the work very carefully, cleaning as they went (concrete floor needed drilling out) they have completed the work perfectly. They are extremely reliable, trustworthy and always work with me to find the best solution. This is why l only ever use them to do all my projects. Previously installed my new boiler 5 years ago, carry out the annual service each winter and always provide 5star service. Overall invoice matches the quote so you know exactly where you stand. Richard arrived on time and did a thorough boiler service. Much more professional and competent than the British Gas engineers we have previously used - so pleased that we have found these pleasant guys and will be using them from now on for servicing and any other plumbing needs.

I called Paul Benham Heating Ltd when I realised the 1st year service on my boiler was due. Asked for a quote which I was given over the phone, Richard, the engineer, came out on the agreed date at exactly the time arranged, checked and serviced the boiler and also diagnosed and rectified a small leak whch I had discovered on removing the pipework cover in preparation for his visit. No fuss, no head scratching, no 'this could be expensive' chat or 'I'll have to rebook that separately' in order to effect a further callout change. He just got on and fixed it, quickly and efficiently, all in the same visit, which was much appreciated as I hadn't known about it or mentioned it when booking the service slot. All service paperwork was completed without me having to ask and after completing the service he then reviewed my heating and hot water usage and adjusted the boiler settings in order to give me better efficiency and therefore lower costs. Faultless service throughout and a credit to the profession!

Richard and Chris fitted replacement boiler and accessories in eight hours including clearing up. Arrived early and worked through - very professional and clear instructions for me. Have been using this company for nearly 30 years - enough said :-)
