Hi there! We’re PCs Made Simple, your guide and interpreter in the weird world of computers and cyber-space! We speak your language and will use it to discuss your computing needs. Welcome also fellow Geeks, we speak your language too and share your enthusiasm! Our aim is simply to provide you with the computing facilities or services you may require. All while explaining everything clearly, in plain English, and never trying to sell you something that you don’t want or need.
Building PCs is what we do best. Every PC we make is tailor made for you and will usually be cheaper (but still far better) than an “off-the-shelf” model designed to cater for everyone. And of course we are also here to look after your existing computer; whatever make, model, or operating system it is.
We started this business with a mission, to cut through all the gobbledygook and mystique surrounding computers and their use and to save people unnecessary costs.

My old PC had stopped working and the wifi had closed. Dave sorted the PC, quickly. As I had already decided to upgrade he helped me choose a new laptop suited to my needs, I've had it a few weeks now and it's just the job. Dave was V helpful, he didn't patronise me (something that old ladies get a lot of.) and answered all my questions and suggested I call if I had any problems.

Clifford and Dave are an excellent team offering a first class service. They will build a computer to your personal needs and offer advice and answer your questions. They offer computer security on line so every time you turn on your computer is scanned. I would use no other company as they are excellent.

Very pleased with our new computer. This is the second one we have had from PC's Made Simple. Everyone is very helpful and professional. Changing over from the old computer is made easier by their time and patience to make sure all is ok . Never too much trouble if you pop into the shop with a query. Overall a very positive experience.

I’m not local to the store, but I knew that for a high end gaming PC there were few companies you can trust. Dave listened to my requirements and helped with his professional advice. Required to update our "oldish" computer to take Windows 11. Decided to try PCs Made Simple in Parkstone and were very impressed with Dave's knowledge and the way he explained everything to us, as we are not very "computer friendly". We chose a new laptop, and Dave transferred all our data for us and helped us with some other queries we had as well. Overall, the experience was great - much better than we had thought it would be! Dave was very patient with us and answered all our questions regarding the new laptop. We would highly recommend this company and feel we had good value for money.

As my current laptop was ending its useful life, I decided to look at purchasing a new one. I went to PCs Made Simple and talked to Dave about alternatives. He was very thorough in asking me questions so that I didn't get more or less than I needed for the amount of use I get from my laptop. We finally agreed on an Asus Expert which was reasonably priced considering the features it had. Dave then transferred all the data from my current laptop and ensured that everything was spot on, something I frankly couldn't have done on my own. All in all, excellent service from a very personable and knowledgeable man.

Dave was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I required a new laptop and all my data transferred from my old laptop. Dave looked at the usage I used on my old laptop and suggested a couple of laptops but recommended the cheaper one would be sufficient for my needs. I left my old laptop and the next day was able to pick my new one up with all the data having been transferred. He made sure my mobile phone and laptop were in sync for some of my apps. He explained how to connect my internet access, my printer and my new wireless mouse. Dave arranged for my old hard drive to be destroyed and the rest to be recycled. He said if I had any problems to call or pop in. I certainly have no problems to recommend this company to anyone. The service was excellent.

I rang PCs Made Simple after a website search. Due to the age of my laptop a repair was not economically viable, although a repair was tried, so gave consideration to upgrade. Reconditioned or new? All the pros and cons were explained in depth without pressure to buy. The transference of data from old to new was painless and Dave helped set up and amended many profiles needed to just go from one laptop to another, seamlessly! Since acquiring my new laptop I have had no necessity to ring Dave with any query. No problems experienced. Thank you PCs Made Simple

Replacement of Desktop Hard Drive

PCs Made Simple Ltd replaced the hard drive on my desktop PC. The PC was dropped off at 9.00am and was immediately checked, in my presence, to confirm the issue, which essentially was the hard drive was nearing the end of it's life span. The options for replacement were clearly explained to me including price differences and comparison to what was currently in my PC. Also, that my PC was not Windows 11 compliant and that a new PC would be required before October 2025. The price of this option was also discussed. I decided for now to just replace the hard drive and, of the three options offered, I chose a Solid State 1 Terabyte drive. At 4.00pm on the same day my PC was ready for collection and upon arrival I was shown the PC booting up from it's "off" state. All files and software were successfully transferred and my PC is now operating perfectly. I would recommend this trader.

I found this Company on the Which Trusted Trader. Dave, was patient and helped me choose laptop, ipad and printer to suit my needs and guided me to cost effective options. All my questions were answered however small. Data was transferred and a destruction certificate provided for my obsolete laptop. Delivery of everything was the next day and work was carried out with me present so I always felt that me and my data were safe and secure. I was contacted after completion to make sure that all was working as expected. If and when I need new items I will be returning to PC's Made Simple - the company delivers exactly what the name suggests.

Took my tower pc in due to a stuttering issue I was experiencing, spoke with Clifford upon arrival and he immediately began asking questions and narrowing down the issue on the spot. Clearly knew his stuff far better than I did and was very accommodating to my very chatty mother. Left it with him for a couple of days and he found and corrected the issue along with running several checks and diagnostics no other trader i have used in the past has had the thought to perform. Will certainly use their service again should any further issues arise.

Chose this company because of the reviews on this website. My laptop wouldn’t work on the Sunday and I needed to complete some important paperwork that needed to be posted on the Wednesday. I went to their shop on the Monday morning and explained what I needed. The gentleman I spoke to was brilliant and understood the urgency of the situation and guaranteed that my computer would be ready no later than Tuesday morning. He actually had it ready for me the same day but I was unable to pick it up until Tuesday. Cannot fault the service I received and will recommend this company to anyone and I if I have any problems in the future this is where I will be going.

Phoned them up about dead desktop. Dropped it off and they were confident of what the problem was gave me a min / max price. They were friendly and helpful. To my suprise they phoned later in the day job done. New hard drive, old one cloned, windows reinstalled. They returned my old hard drive. And the box and paperwork from new drive. Some months ago we took our old laptop there and it was checked with no charge made. When the time came to replace this item, we immediately went back there. There was no hard sell and we felt very fair advice was given about what was suitable for our needs, both for the laptop and a new printer, which we decided to replace at the same time. Both competitively priced. We were given a 48 hour time to collect our new fully operational laptop and printer. However, it was actually ready within 24 hours. All explanations were given with a cheerful smile, even when I probably sounded like an idiot with my queries! After sales service via the phone was also conducted cheerfully. Will be our "go to shop" for all things computers from now on. Would recommend 100%.
