On November 14, Pears Home Improvements LTD from Worcester installed a window and a sliding door at my residence. However, the design of the sliding door included a double frame to accommodate ventilation at the top, resulting in an unsightly and aesthetically displeasing appearance. Upon completion, I inquired about this discrepancy, mentioning that I hadn't observed such a design in their showroom. Their response was that the showroom displayed older models (models misleading customers) and that this was the current design for new models. They also noted previous customer dissatisfaction with this aspect. I expressed my surprise at not being informed about this beforehand, especially considering their knowledge of previous customer concerns. The answer was that we had no choice and that they paid for that door. Yes, we have a choice, with my money I choose for myself, not you, I paid for it, not you. We can do it elsewhere, I could choose another door model, but I could not change the old one, so I had many options. Communication about what we do was probably more important than product details. - design, installation, thermal efficiency, communication = disappointed

From the phone call I made to enquire about what we wanted doing to meeting the sales rep and up to the finished date all was very smoothly run everyone was helpful and understanding and were very accommodating as I work nights so they changed the start date for fitting so I could organise time off so they could work without disturbing me. The guys who carried out the work are very professional clean tidy and hard working keeping everything tidied up as went and the finished detail was met to our satisfaction.

Installation of 16 windows and 1 door. Carl and his young team were very, very good in all respects. A good experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this company.

The installation was built on budget and exactly as specified in the quote. The standard of product is to a very high standard and it was installed in a courteous and professional manner. Very thrilled with the final product and have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Pears recently replaced my glass conservatory roof for a solid one. The workmen were friendly, very tidy and did a superb job. I am really pleased with the result. They also lined and plastered the internal walls resulting in a much brighter effect. I would recommend Pears for similar work without hesitation.

From the very start of the project we were impressed by their approachability and professionalism which ensured that any concerns that arose throughout the build were responded to in a positive and solution focused manner. The skilled work force were always diligent in their work, respectful of our needs and most of all clearly focused on the quality of their work. Elements of the work weren’t signed off unless they met with the expected standard. The customer support from the admin team was excellent, always responding promptly to any issue that arose, ensuring all parties were communicated with and kept abreast of any developments as the project moved forward. Once the project started the workforce remained with the job until it was completed, they didn’t dash of to work elsewhere whilst ours was ongoing. The project was completed on time and within budget and as we were able to approach the work force about any issue as the work progressed there was no snagging required. This is without a doubt a skilled workforce committed to the highest quality and one who delivers excellent customer service. Consequently, I can recommend Pears without hesitation to anyone looking for a top quality builder.

Fitters arrived on time and first job was to lay covers to protect all carpets. The fitters were very polite, efficient and finished the job quickly. They fitted a new UPVC window in the nursery and new double glazed units into current units in the bathroom and kitchen.

I had my front door replaced and French windows fitted. The work was done as agreed i.e. to budget and time stated. The workmen arrived on time and were friendly and polite. They were tidy and did a good job of clearing up after themselves.

The Pears team have done an absolutely brilliant job of transforming our twenty two year old conservatory. The amount of work they completed in just four days was extremely impressive. Clearly the result of their very effective teamwork and professional attitude. They even continued to work during a continuous downpour of rain despite our encouragement to wait until the storm subsided! All team members were very helpful in fully answering any questions we had during the work. We have no hesitation in fully recommending Pears Home Improvements Ltd.

Three windows installed quickly, cleanly efficiently. On two all work was inside as not accessible from outside. Very happy with product and work.

Pears installed a tiled roof on my existing conservatory.The installation was done on time and efficiently by considerate and clean workers. I am very pleased with the result.

We had a double glazed back door and a composite front door fitted, by pears. The quality of the product is superb, the guys who fitted turned up on time got the work done and left the site in perfect condition. Having already gained a number of alternative quotes, we have got excellent service and products for less than anyone else quoted. We are very pleased we chose Pears Home Improvements as we received great customer service throughout the process. Our new windows and doors are perfect especially after they neatened up the gaps in the doorway that we thought we would have to do after the job was completed. Very professional and friendly.

Started off pretty well, good communication with sales team and received a letter specifying date for fitting on Monday and Tuesday of half term. Windows and doors ordered in August and arranged for fitting in October half term. Monday morning the door arrived but the fitter said "sorry no sign of your windows yet". I called the company and apparently the windows ordered several weeks previously had not arrived. The fitter was very nice and polite. The door was much lighter in colour than the sample, when I questioned this the fitter quickly removed any reference to colour so it was difficult to check if it was the correct door but I was expecting something darker. Tuesday, windows were supposed to be fitted, I called and still no sign of the windows. I was getting concerned as the next day I was having a new boiler being fitted and radiator moved under the new window. In the end the windows arrived Wednesday afternoon, the fitters arriving a day late held up plumber as he had to wait for them to finish. A few days later I noticed the front door was loose. I have contacted them several times over the last 4 weeks and still no response to my concerns or any sign of them coming to fix it, also still no sign of insurance/warranty paperwork. I would be very careful using these guys. Quick to take your money, poor supply organisation, crude fitting (no screw caps on door frame etc, no finishing) and no sign of any post fitting customer service.

Competitive quote. Friendly fitters. Pleased with all of the work. Happy with after service as a couple of bars fell off and they came back to put back on without any hassle. Would recommend.
