Peter Mew t/a Mews Windows

After recommendation from a friend, we had 2 large bay windows and 1 more average sized replaced by Pete. We had a short wait for the work to be carried out as he was booked up but Pete explained this when we first contacted him. Pete and Tom were extremely friendly and highly professional at all times. We will definitely ask them for any windows we need in the future and have already recommended them to family and friends.

I would highly recommend Peter Mews and his son Tom from Mews Windows. We had multiple meetings and phone calls to agree exactly what I wanted. Each time appointments were made and kept and I was always dealt with in a very professional manner. I had to wait a few months for availability but this was explained to me early on and I felt it showed how in demand they were so didn't mind the wait. Peter was very knowledgeable and helped me make some better decisions when making the choices in what to have. They turned up on time every day (early in fact) and changed 9 windows and window sills. They cleaned up each night and again before they left. I found them professional and knowledgeable to deal with and I am very very happy with the final result. They are also 2 really nice chaps. 👍 I feel like we had a better service than we might have had elsewhere for the same price. I would certainly recommend and use again should the need arise.

From the initial estimate to the final snagging work Mews windows were friendly and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending them. When Pete came to estimate and we chatted about the options he was convivial, informative and most importantly honest. I have worked in associated industries supplying the window trade for many years and where others became nervous Pete just became chatty exchanging banter about the trade. The price was good and the system Veka and the fabricator were known to me. The deposit was paid and Pete returned on the promised date with his son Tom and the work began. We were fortunate with the weather and Pete and Tom arrived each day by 8.00am and cracked on. Each day they left only after cleaning down and making all good. We hit a few problems with glass but Pete calmly assured me all was in hand and would be sorted by the following week, which it was by the window fabricator along with all other small snagging required. Fourteen windows and two doors later we have a beautiful new look to our home. Pete and Tom were great to work with throughout the whole experience. I am planning to extend in the future. Mews will be doing the windows!

Mews Windows fitted a replacement frame and a new Guardian Roof on our conservatory. Pete and Tom have made an excellent job of the installation. They are both very professional, tidy and reliable. Nothing was too much trouble. Have already asked for a quote for further work to be done, as trying to find tradesmen of this quality is difficult. Definitely recommend Mews Windows.

Had a new kitchen door fitted by Mews Windows. We have used Pete Mew on numerous occasions in the past and would not use anybody else. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

We had 3 doors installed by Mews Windows in Jan 21. Pete proved to be very reliable, got things done as quickly as possible e.g. promptly providing me with the quote after my initial phone call, coming out to measure up after I had accepted the quotation and fitting the doors once they had arrived. Both Pete and his son are very friendly and easy to deal with. More importantly, they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Having been messed around by many other trades, we really appreciated this. Finally, the doors are lovely and we are really happy with them, and the price was competitive. Pete & Tom Mew have fitted a conservatory and front door in the past for me and also a front door for my mother. I would not consider using anyone else for this as their service is second to none. So when I wanted a new front door I knew exactly who to contact. Nothing is too much trouble in ensuring you get exactly what you want. Their service is efficient, turning up on time and discussing your requirements, accurate costing and reliable date given when the work will be carried out. All backed up by email confirmation.
