Peter has done a few jobs for me he is always polite, thorough, takes time to explain things. He'd always be my first choice for fixing electrical issues. He's done fault finding, testing, socket rewiring for me.

Mr Whiting is an experienced and highly qualified electrician, who has been a godsend in sorting out the dodgy electrics of our 1940s house. He has always responded quickly when minor emergencies have occurred. Thoroughly recommended.

Peter helped me out in an emergency (kitchen sockets all failed in my very elderly parents' house) and I am very grateful. He was professional and polite and sorted out the issue. As a middle aged woman it's not always easy to find tradesman that are honest and reliable but Peter surpassed my expectations and I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

I seldom write reviews but in this case I have to say how pleased I was to find such a reliable and competent electrician who went the extra mile! Peter fitted a new electric socket for me, in good time for the delivery of a new dishwasher. At the same time he checked and noticed that I needed a new RCD. He took the time to explain that I needed an older type which was not easily available but which he said he would try to source for me, whilst explaining the price range. He was able to obtain the new part and fitted it within a few days. His fees were reasonable and in accordance with the estimates he had given me. It is rare in my experience to find a tradesman who, in addition to being an expert in their field, also takes the time to communicate with the customer and to explain difficult things in a straightforward way. Peter took the time to telephone to explain the problem and then he solved it for me! Thank you Peter! I hope I don’t have too many electrical problems but would not hesitate to contact Peter again.

A very experienced electrician, he is extremely skilled and knowledgable and always goes above and beyond to make sure he delivers the best service possible. We used Peter's services twice after entering into proceedings to purchase our first home - once to do an electrical installation condition report (EICR) prior to purchase, and after purchase to fix the issues he had flagged. Throughout our email correspondence Peter was always very professional and helpful, and we were able to schedule the work at very short notice, which was great! Prices were reasonable as well. For the 2nd part of the work my partner actually met Peter in person, and she told me he was a delight, very friendly with a great sense of humour and absolutely knew what he was doing.
