About
I (Peter Whiting) began working as an electrical apprentice in 1983, this was a full 5 year apprenticeship. On finishing my apprenticeship I set up my own business as a sole trader in 1988. The limited business began trading in June 2002.
The business is family run and some of the electrical services we offer are shown in the details below.
You will see I have many reviews showing despite only being endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader from April 2018. The reviews I have from before this time are from Which? We requested Peter to wire and fit lights and ceiling roses in 5 rooms. He was available quickly, arrived on time, was very friendly, worked at a good pace and did a very professional job. Would definitely recommend.

As well as installing a new wall socket for the cooker area, Peter helped install a new cooker hob - including some ad hoc carpentry work. He was punctual, efficient (finished within 2 hours) and highly professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Absolute star, got new cooker delivered today and had no wire or plug on called Peter to my rescue, he was here with 30min. Polite, friendly, all Covid covered, good price. Highly recommend.

We lost all power to the house, called Peter who came to us as soon as he could. He kept us informed of when we could expect him, what his charges were and he arrived when he said he would. It was a tricky job but he fixed the problem and also replaced a faulty socket for us. We will most certainly use Peter again and don’t hesitate in recommending him. A reassuringly good experience!

I contacted Peter and he was able to visit the job on same day and book me in for the work to be completed. Despite a few changes required, Peter was very patient with communication between us to finalise everything. He turned up early morning to start the work as planned and checked all details and requirements. The quality and precision of the work Peter did is meticulous and would be happy to recommend Peter. I will surely be booking him again in the future for any additional work.
