About
I (Peter Whiting) began working as an electrical apprentice in 1983, this was a full 5 year apprenticeship. On finishing my apprenticeship I set up my own business as a sole trader in 1988. The limited business began trading in June 2002.
The business is family run and some of the electrical services we offer are shown in the details below.
You will see I have many reviews showing despite only being endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader from April 2018. The reviews I have from before this time are from Which? Peter came around to help with an electrical issue in the flat caused by rats (not a pleasant job to help with!) He came within 24 hrs of being contacted, immediately sorted the problem and then helped with a smaller light installation job to make use of the full hour I had paid him for. Great communication throughout dealing with him, transparent and upfront regarding costs and a thoroughly nice man to boot. Will definitely be going to Peter for any electrical services in the future.

I initially contacted Peter regarding a job he was unable to complete but he was extremely helpful and pointed me in the right direction (my energy supplier). Given his initial helpfulness I contacted him again about some small jobs, Peter was able to fit me in and completed the work to a very high standard and at a very reasonable price. Peter efficiently replaced a faulty dimmer switch for us, making sure in advance that he ascertained the correct parts to bring. There was a minor niggle with the switch after he’d done the work, which he returned very promptly to sort out. Peter was a pleasure to deal with and we would certainly use him again.
